GREAT review, Chris. I enjoyed your review very much! - I wish I could talk with you about the late 70’s & 80’s. In 1976, I was 26, generally wore a TUX to many of the top dance clubs in San Francisco. I wore Captain, Eau Sauvage, Portos by Balenciaga, Jacques Bogart, Aramis, etc.
I was lucky enough to have been a teenager in the 70's! Polyester shirts, bell bottom jeans, and platform shoes!! Music by Badfinger, The Raspberries, Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, and Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow!!!
No other fragrance reviewer puts in this level of creative effort and personal investment. You're on a creative roll, Chris. There must be something in the water in Scent Land. Oh, that's right... it's Jameson's.
Great video.....there is a Kenzo original that was also issued in the late 70’s. It was in the lethal weapon movie. I can only imagine what Studio 54 smelled like.......
Salute! Such trips to the memory lane should be prescribed by the doctor for lockdown fatigue. “- I am blue all of the time. - have you tried some 70s? I can also prescribe you some 80s if you prefer”
Best-intro-ever. 🤣 Santos edt concentree always reminds me of the 70s. With the built-in sprayer and gold plating, it could easily be sitting on the bathroom counter of Eddie Van Halen. 🤟
Hey Chris! I am a big fan of your channel and i am also a teenager, can you make a video about scents for teenagers ( and not dior sauvage ;) thats a joke
Bad times for many. Thank God you weren't forced to live under that for your entire life! Where do you live now?! The majority of my countrymen no longer appreciate at all the sacrifices paid for them, tragically and to their serious detriment. How terribly quickly we forget! Wouldn't it be wonderful if people were able to look back to the 2020's with near universal reverence and joyful nostalgia?! Too naive? I think a significant portion of my current re-infatuation with older fragrances is not only in reliving past memories but also in the the very hope in hope itself. Regardless, may your today's and tomorrow's be blessed and joyful, Gediminas! 😊
The ‘70s were spectacular! Great fragrances, too!
English leather canoe and Aquavelva are what remind me of my dad. RIP DAD.

Hey Chris,
I'm just wondering...
How do you know all of this, and you're right, when you're only 32 yourself?!
Hahaha, but you know, I would not trade my 48 for the 32...
🎉 scoale
Oh and hykaratae
Klaus Kinski and Alain Delon in Mort d'un Pourri
Oh yes 1977
The intro was so irritating and annoying I couldn’t watch the rest!!
70's - my late childhood in former soviet Lithuania. Awful times. Smell like blood and tears. Sorry.
