Good basic advice here. The most important part is bad stitches on bottom is an issue with top thread.
Bobbin thread should have light resistance when you pull on it. It becomes more critical when using very light fabric.
Learning to sew takes a long time. Have fun learning. This lady knows what shes saying and this is good knowledge for all sewing machines, not just Juki's.

I wanted to ask you. I'm struggling with my Juki to have access to the bobine thread. How do you place it please and how do you make sure the thready is visible and ready to be used ? Thank you very much for your help

Hi Tina, I just found you on you tube. My issue is the threads skip stitches. i have adjusted the top and Bobbin and it still does this. Can you please help me. Thank you so much,Oh I better tell you i have a DSL5550N juki. they say there the same but they are not. Ever since I moved it has not been the same. Traveling wouln't do this would it? I have had this Machine for 8 years and not one problem till I moved.

Try re threading your machine from the start make sure the tension discs are not to tight and that there’s no fluff between the discs x
