2023년 3월 16일, 개국한 지 1년도 채 되지 않은 채 폐국 소식이 전해졌다. 결국 3월 30일 24시가 되자마자 폐국이 되었다 폐국 이유는 SBS의 내부 사정인데, 최근 OTT 플랫폼의 강세로 케이블 PP 시장의 전망이 밝지 않고 아동 및 애니메이션 계열 채널 시장이 과포화된 상황에서 운영을 이어 나가기엔 부적합했기 때문으로 추정된다. 또한 이전의 니켈로디언이나 다른 애니메이션 채널과는 다르게, 독점적으로 방영하는 작품이 없었던 것도 컸다.

정말 고마웠다 니켈로디언 코리아... ㅠㅠ 키즈맘은 3월 30일 폐국되고 티빙은 브랜드관에 파라마운트 플러스는 6월 18일에 서비스 종료되고.... 투니버스는 니켈로디언 블록 매일 오후 9:00에 아직은 편성을 패쇄를 되고.... 어쩌면...... ㅠㅠ
