Keep it up! I see you haven't done many videos but I'm really enjoying these. Interesting stuff, the visual presentation is cool, nice voice over work!
Thanks so much for making this video! I'm new to Pathfinder and currently making a character who is devoted to Desna. This was a fantastic spring board!
Wait... Desna's divine realm manifests as the North Star? ...I am now imagining that she has order of wander monks who travel the lands, liberating the oppressed, and when they flurry of blows their enemies declares, "You are already dreaming."
Is Arushalea canon in Pathfinder? She's my favorite companion of Wrath of the Righteous. A succubus who got Desna's attention, but wasn't smited but trapped in a dream, and so, she seeks redemption and overcoming her predators urges.
Oh yes. She is very much canon. She plays about as big a role in the Wrath of the Righteous adventure path (the inspiration for the Owlcat game) as she does in the PC version.
I will start this by saying the Goddess throuple is entirely appropriate for the setting. Most IP's would just hint at something like that and I applaud Pathfinder for having the balls to portray a pagan faith as openly sexual and alien to what we have on Earth. That said slapping a pride flag on it and declaring Pathfinder to be for "everyone" is an issue. "Everyone" has largely become a code word for people who hold a specific political viewpoint. When I hear that shit I do not feel included. I feel like I just ran into a KEEP OUT sign. The problem with the current direction of Pathfinder is that in it's attempt to become inclusive it has instead become "safe." D&D is already safe and 5th edition isn't the broken pile of crap 4th E was. I want Pathfinder to succeed but to do that it needs to be the hardcore alternative to D&D, not it's obscure cousin. This setting should absolutely be the place for a hermaphroditic polysexual android with rainbow hair. It should also be the setting for an Arch Fiend version of literally Hitler whose cultists wear swazies (They were clearly setting this up in V1.)
DESNA GUIDE MY HAND
Lmao, I completely respecced Arue through a mod into Drunken Master monk just to roleplay her backhanding demons as she yells "Desna, guide my hand".

Thanks! These videos have been a long time in the making, so I really appreciate the encouragement.
Please never stop making videos
Very cool. I never tire of the lore of Pathfinder 😊

Glad you enjoyed it. My goal for these videos is for them to be a one-stop shop for players interested in playing religious characters.
The Black Butterfly is my favorite deity! The only Starfinder character I've played so far was a mystic who worshiped The Black Butterfly.
She's so cool.
