My father-in-law has a red 100NX. It was pretty much a minter when it was parked there but has now sat on his driveway unused for around 9 years. Thanks to these videos I will be having a conversation with him about getting it back on the road.
Don't scrap 707 just put all the parts of the others on to it and sell it as a project get your money back easy and keeps it alive for some one else to work on
The National 100NX Collection is now in Romiley... Cheaper than your Range Rover collection phase, and much rarer. Japanese cars can be something really special.
being thoughtful enough to even consider saving these is a massive yes most people would scrap. love when people who can actually afford to save cars save them
Great save matt looking forward to the updates on them the latest one is worth gutting and shelve the parts ie all the lights as there is money there good look with your latest project 👍

For me it is pre 2010. After that quality dropped massively. But yeah I prefer pre 2006 but I don't want anything after 2010. Side note, I would still buy a 2012 car IF it uses pre2010 design, tech etc (pre facelift). I also prefer older engines, like the Renaults 1.9DCI or Renault 1.6 16V
The man who saves cars and enjoys what he's doing. Money well spent and you may make a profit and have two good cars and a car for spares. You will become well known as the Nissan 100NX man. Good viewing. await the third video. 😄😄👍👍
Thank you for bringing these quirky, overlooked cars back to their former glory! I totally understand your mindset when you feel like you want to save everything.
This is Quality content Matt! Loving it! Cannot believe your bought a third one 😅... Your doing a good thing. I appreciate that and stand by everything your doing with these cars ❤
Wow steaming towards half a million subscribers Matt well done pal! Really enjoy your videos you're very watchable and obviously a decent chap. Wish you all the best!
Hi when me and my wife moved to Spain in 2004 we sold are nissan 100 nx and regretted it ever since loving your mini series so far keep it going looking forward to the many thanks brendan
Loving this series Matt, despite it being about a car I’d never really aspired to own and I’d forgotten about. Great to see you try to keep a couple on the road. Love the channel great content look forward to seeing what happens next! 👍🏼
I love this! Please consider taking one of both of these cool little time capsules to the big Japan Classic Sunday in the Netherlands next summer... They'd be in very good company! Mm
I love this. A mate of mine had one of these about 15 years back... I say "one" he took it in for an MOT and found out that technically he had two. Front end of a '94 and the back end of a '95 welded together. Which would have been a lot funnier if 5 of us (yes, I know, five, in a car with four seats) hadn't just been on a 300 mile road trip in it.
Must confess Matt a former girlfriend had a NX100 years before I met her which was in 2010. She had just picked up her new Alfa Mito which looked cute but was a dreadful car she had all manner of issues with. No surprises there I hear you say. I wasn’t familiar with the NX thinking it ugly, weird when I saw one. Still your posse of the little Nissan outlasted the relationship by 12 years and must say I’m envious, wishing you well with your restorations
Absolutely LOVE the little NXs and huge kudos for your enthusiasm and how you are doing what you are doing! Excellent series - looking forward to part 3
I could see where this was going when you outlined all that needed replacing, and a bonus it's blue to help the donor projects. Always entertaining Matt, whatever the outcome.
That Nissan 100nx, make sure you pull the boot carpet back and take a look at the suspension struts. They used to crack/rust back in 2005. So definitely worth checking for safety. Yes I am Golders from the 100nx club back in the day!
loving the 100nx content matt. it makes sense to buy a donor that has loads of useful parts in better nick, especially now they are getting harder to find parts for. You can't save em all, but if you can prolong the life of others with one, that's ok too!
Matt...I sold Nissan from 88 to 02 ..I loved these bad boys ...so thank you for saving them....as you know it's great to see the white one back on the road
I’m really enjoying watching these. One of my neighbours has a 100nx in the same blue as your two. Hes part way through restoring it. But it’s also his daily so progress is very slow. I’m looking forward to seeing these finished
Rather than scrapping it even after you have taken all the bits you need why not see if anyone in the Nissan owners club would buy what is left as it is so rare. Can't wait to see the white one with the bodywork sorted!
Outstanding content as ever! Never liked these cars but now in my 40s I'm totally into them after seeing your videos 😂 .... older cars just have so much more soul than new ones... love it ❤ Lock up your 100NX's Matts on the prowl! PS dont scrap L707 😢
I don't know what's going on, but I love it. We need more updates with more NXs. I can just see your entire forecourt filled with NXs like a 90s Nissan dealership.
I can just hear it, Nissan 100NX if you have a problem and you need help, just call Matt the NX man (to the tune of the A-Team). Seriously well done they look so cool. Cant wait for the next installment. ❤❤
I have a 2009 Zafira 1.9cdti automatic which I bought when it was 2 years old. Had 22,000 miles on it when I bought it. Now has 217,600 miles and running like a dream. Never had an automatic gearbox service
Great video yet again Matt. Love the look of the white one! Just wanna say thanks for saving my a** too! Without watching your videos, I would have brought a car with some very shady history! Doing a car history check was well worth it!! Plus the 20% off too was a nice little touch!! Cheers Matt! 👍🏻👍🏻💪🏻
Brilliant content and videos Matt. I would have one of these cobalt blue 100nx. They all need saving. I like the idea that someone said to swap all parts between the 3 making white one top, 911 second and 707 third in the condition stakes. You are a true petrolhead first and dealer second.
I was muttering ‘don’t scrap the donor, you never know what you’ll need in the future’ - then you changed your mind and decided to store it. Best plan.
"Well the engine does not smoke" matt trying to make up reasons to keep it lol, you should put the parts from the others on it and sell it as project car like others suggested, its one way to keep it on the road too, fun series keep it up 😃
That ml320 I bought after watching your video after 3 years still goes flawlessly, didn't spent 1cent on it apart from oil changes..I service it myself...what a car.😅
Definitely haven't made a mistake, Matt. I'm betting you won't be able to scrap 707 when it comes to it 😂 they're too rare to scrap 🫣 You look like you're enjoying your new hobby... loved the video 👍
Great NX content. I’d love to have our old NX2000 back. Such a fun little car. Seems like the 3rd. One isn’t so much a scrap…what with the good MOT….but more of a take the good bits off then sell it cheap
Next video: "I sold my ranger rover to purchase ALL the Nissan 100NX left!"
😂
haha, classic !
😁
Endless possibilities with all these nissans loving this Matt

I can't wait to see the for sale advert on his site: "Nissan 100NX for sale, choice of 12..."

That’s a great idea.
was gonna say, saves all the worse conditon but still usable parts anyway and keeps yet another 100nx on the road!
Or, if there is enough left, use 707 as a pure track car.
He’ll get his money back & more just by selling 707’s remaining parts
Sacrifice one, save many.
These cars! More! I love these bread and butter cars from times long gone.
Me too! I’ll definitely do more

Part 3: Alright guys how's it going welcome back. Well today I am in my fourth Nissan 100NX, with Brenda from Bristol in passenger seat.
😂😂 I should get her to do a cameo
Oh thank god I thought you meant another election!!ha ha

*welcome baaaack.
You could always swap out the bits you want and then sell it to me for £500..
A third NX has hit the tow-
I don't know what kind of mid life crisis this is, but I fully support it!
Me too! Lmao
😂😂. Excellent
The 100nx was already on my list. Currently driving an Audi A2, which is also on my list..

As I mentioned in your video about the old Passat, I absolutely love your enduring efforts to keep those old cars on the roads. Keep going Matt.
If the new blue donor has 10 months MOT then you can't scrap it!!
I think it could be saved. We just need another donor car 😂
Bravo! Your enthusiasm is well-placed, and I'm looking forward to the next one in this series. Keep up the good work.
Great video. I think this is the absolute essence of Matt’s channel; a car lover, knowledgeable and with a focus on affordable cars/projects
Go on Matt, find another one😂. One man owner's club. I think you've found a niche here. These and that post van the other week are pure fun
Hello! Im new here! Bought a Nissan 100nx a couple weeks ago as a project ! Great to see someone else loving these ! ❤
Love this series matt. There's just something about the older stuff. Love it
I wonder how long it’s going to be before Matt starts importing 100NXs from Japan. Talk about cornering the market 🤣🤣🤣
He'll have to rename the dealership to NISSAN 100NX SPECIALIST 😂😂😂😭
