This sort of dross is what I tune in for! Suspicious stains and ditchfinders! Matt - I don’t want to see minters bought off viewers and £10k stuff - it’s £400 shitters with mushrooms growing on the dash that gets views 😂
We own a Kia Ceed eco dynamics diesel hatchback, as our daily runabout, our ex company car. 301.000 miles FSH flew through MOT, serviced regularly, been totally reliable, 45 mpg in town, upto 70 mpg on a run, £20 pa road tax.. Keeping it until it let's go.
Matt, you need to bring some plastic seat covers for protection from the manky seats. Failing that, bring a flame thrower! Be careful using your good key to probe bodywork.
I really find it hard to understand why people get cars into such a mess, it's disgusting and they should be ashamed, I have a ten year old Fiesta ST2 and look after it, it hasn't done 24k miles and I get it professionally valeted twice a year, I also think it's an utter piss take of the main dealer to dump that on him.
My Mum's 19 year old Citroën C3 passed it's M.O.T 1st time for the 2nd year running today with no advisories and it had a good wash and buff at a hand car wash yesterday and it made such a difference and it has 85000 on the clock.
Matt, your Range Rover has the 'Musical Taste' option built in. Special option for the 'Landed Gentry' types to stop the lower class ruffians from playing terrible sounds in their car, allows only the finest strings, pianos and Arias to be played.
'Is that a toenail?' 😂 It's a mark of modern society that very few people will watch the video of you reviewing the shiny new EV6, but as soon as you upload 20 minutes of you trying to hold your lunch down while exclaiming, 'what a nail', you get enough clicks to almost offset the loss on the car.
That thing looks horrifying, both inside and out. Which ironically is perfect since you uploaded this video one day before Halloween. The Hight Peak Autos channel unintended Halloween Special. And, at only 400 Pounds Sterling you've _still_ massively overspent. 😉
reminds. me of an old buddy, who got a '99 A4 in 2006 for free from his boss. And rather than giving her a proper clean up, he just drove her filthy, saying "it's just a car". And she sure was a lovely car and only needed a proper wash inside out. I don't know motor-wise, but this Kia could have used some proper valeting. But I may be wrong. Great channel you have! Based on your advice I bought a 20 year old Toyota 1.6 petrol after 1st user and she still drives fine.
I was given one of these exact models as a courtesy car following a breakdown and had to drive it 250 miles home. It was miserable, gutless, uncomfortable and the suspension, non existent. I shudder each time I remember that journey.
You missed the point. Matt got this car with several others as a collective purchase from one of his regular contacts. The others are probably fine, and he'll make up any losses with those....
When I was trade plating over the summer, I had no end of unloved and filthy part exchanges to come back in that were in similar condition to this. One that killed me inside as a proud owner a similar car (a few years newer) was a 16 plate Golf. One time I had a 10 plate Corsa and until I did some research last week, I had no idea it was the top spec model.
Kia's remind me of Lada's and Protons, the entry level models are bought on finance by people that can just afford the monthly payments and some fuel, but servicing, forget it they rarely see a spanner. The rotted sill shows how thin the metal is, cola cans are made thicker. Every dealer buys a few duds, which are best put out of their misery. Hope the others from this batch earn you a decent profit.
Show's something for Kia's engines, horrifically neglected, no service for nearly 10 years and 60k miles and started first time and sounded pretty smooth. I've got a 71 plate Ceed diesel, which I plan on keeping a while, so with the fact I get my cars services and look after them I'm hoping it'll last a while. That's if I don't die of boredom, or trade it in for a nice Mercedes.
I have the newer generation Cee'd SW. I know it's a boring every day a to b car but i get annoyed if there is a little mark on the car and wash it completely. Why are people like this? My heart hurts looking at this. Cee'd cars are great value for money and deserve the love.
I do not understand, just can't fathom how someone treats their car like this. Even if it was worth 1 pound I would still take care of it. I dread to think what that person lives like, what kind of landfill they live in.
When i got my first car almost a year ago i said i was going to keep it mint, no dust. It is used a 2018 hyundai i10 in very good condition. Full service history all at hyundai dealer except the last general check that was done before purchase. The keeping in no dust on it condition was short lived. 😅 with the amount of dust and pollen in the air, no garage and being near trees i would have to be washing it twice a day. All said, it might not be shiny clean on the outside or inside but i maintain it the best i can. Keeping microfiber clothes, dusters and window and dashboard cleaners in the car helps clean ot bit by bit as i have time; i see something, i clean it. I couldn't see my car in such condition
Looking at the exterior and interior of the car, I'm 100% sure it's going to the scrap yard. If the exterior had been taken care of and the engine service done regularly (it wasn't), all that would have been done is just to clean the interior, refurbish the wheels and the paint, buff the headlights and sell it for a profit.
Don't be too hasty in scrapping the Spark. My daughter bought one back in January after passing her test, plenty of newly qualified drivers will be looking for a group 2 insurance car with £35 a year road tax. 👍
That's what my mates kia ceed looked like minus the damage when he asked me to detail it before hitting we buy any car. I think he'd let the kids wash it twice in the three years he had it. Those car wash guys really do have to work for their money!
You’re lucky you’re got a yard to store scrapers .Just keep eye on scrap price and cash in when high The parts idea is good no sellers fees on eBay at moment.
I uave to say that in romania if you see a car interior that dirty 6:15 , its a guarantee the one of the rear seatbelts have been hidden somewhere, which is dangerous. So if you see a dirty car in easter europe, its a big red flag for safety
When I see cars being treated like this I started to think if the owner of those cars are trustworthy at all. These Korean cars ask you pretty little and gave you in return pretty pretty much
Ngl that dealer was being a bit scummy for even selling you that hunk of junk I know you don’t have a choice but like still that’s not cool in my book granted that I’m a nobody who’s never worked in this industry so I don’t know how common it is, but I feel like this is way too much of a scrap for them to be trying to sell to you
Reminds me of the top gear bmw episode where they found blood n poo in the cars interiors Also a paving slab to weigh down the rear wheels, what numpty did that? Same guy who owned this Kia
Even cars that are still around from the 80s are in better condition. Also my sisters boyfriend is in need of a cheap estate car. Not even I can recommend this car to him.
These completely neglected, dirty and rotten cars make a good content for us to watch because you can be absolutely savage with your comments. I can tell you're sick of them selling you something like that, it's just as bad as the bmw with a baseball bat instead of a gear stick 😂
Donate it to the fire service Matt , they always need cars to practice on accident procedures etc . Just a thought !
They've got plenty to be getting on with.
This sort of dross is what I tune in for! Suspicious stains and ditchfinders!
Matt - I don’t want to see minters bought off viewers and £10k stuff - it’s £400 shitters with mushrooms growing on the dash that gets views 😂
Simple people clicked. These people saw that High Peaks uploaded, and they clicked. Glad to be one of those people.
Kiss ass
😂😂
Always a great watch
@@M.Godfrey absolutely 🫶

Bet it's great fun too
@diremond3700 my Mustang Bullet is my fun car
Once, this was the pride and joy of a happy first owner.....
I doubt it. Who is prideful about a kia? They're one of the brands you buy when you can't afford anything else.
I think someone hated this car very much :-(
@@jimmydesouza4375 maybe 20 years ago, not any more
nope, someone bought it coz it had a long warranty and knew they were going to thrash it.
Matt, you need to bring some plastic seat covers for protection from the manky seats. Failing that, bring a flame thrower! Be careful using your good key to probe bodywork.
cannot understand EVER why he doesn't have those disposable covers that mechanics use in his car boot in case !! specially as he wears decent clothes

Yes, exactly! My 18 year old Jetta is my pride and joy! It's ok if you can't afford a new car, but there's no excuse on treating it badly.
21 year old Vectra 1.8 Elegance, 198,000
I think the main dealer who charged you £400 is an absolute ARSE and is taking the P .
I've not gotten past the ads yet and I'm looking forward to this! makes me wonder what I'm going to expect while I'm looking for cheap run arounds!
That was almost a Vice Grip Garage type car. With the "weight reduction" and looking like it'd been parked in the woods for a few years.
It's a shame banger racing isn't so popular these days - you've got a few winners in there.
You may not know it Matt. But you know I've been fighting offing myself. Ur an inspiration never forget that. Keep going brother 🙏🏿
Great video, I dread to think what the previous owner's house is like....
That car makes Sir Les Pattersons suit look tidy 😂
This soundtrack slaps, great choice!

lol. thx for making me chuckle after a days work Matt. Keep these vids going they are great for our mental health 🤣

Anno wa bout the latest sportage absolute junk box.
Matt l love these vids keep up the good work mate 👍
No service in 9 YEARS?! These are the kind of cars you see broken down on the hard shoulder of the motorway, with the owner baffled as to why them
400 for that is a scam. Should have been 100 or for free.
You missed the point. Matt got this car with several others as a collective purchase from one of his regular contacts. The others are probably fine, and he'll make up any losses with those....
on the plus side he most likely gets 4 times the price for the youtube views lol
My wheelie bin is cleaner than that

You should get in contact with the local Banger racers, they could put it in a Demolition Derby and film it for our entertainment.
Too rusty
@Matt - look on the bright side, for the valeters at least their Halloween decorations are sorted then!
16:04 nice seeing the £4000 XE you massively overspent on😊
"You mustn't do this" that had me in stitches
Cheers mate;

I was ready to see a dead raccoon, that.

Maybe do a profit and loss account video over the last 20 or so cars from this main dealer
yeah but he gets a lot of revenue from the youtube views: these old banger vids probably make him good money.
You've got to get rid of those stupid wind deflectors on that blue Picanto. I hate those! They spoil a decent little car.
Don't be too hasty in scrapping the Spark. My daughter bought one back in January after passing her test, plenty of newly qualified drivers will be looking for a group 2 insurance car with £35 a year road tax. 👍
it just makes me sad how someone can just not care about their car, keeping your car clean and maintaining it, will make it last a life time.
Sorry matt......I pissed myself when you found that national trust sticker 😂😂😂

It's hilarious that he advertises a vital vehicle check before buying a car: then proceeds to a dumpster fire he brought blind lol.
Memory Man!!
It is not that bad really just needs some cleaning.

‘Where are we going with this’ Straight to the Scrap Yard maybe 😮💨😂
I just want to see this 51 plate fiesta now!
At least they gave me £900 trade in on my car.
The dog was in only 2 days before I traded it in. It had been raining 🌧️
Can't you just return it? They are clearly taking the proverbial with that heap of rust.
Can’t believe that garage made you take that car, they’ve got a cheek, it was a shed on wheels..
"I've done Fook all to this and already massively overspent"
That would be listed as runs and drives at copart ( ask salvage rebuilds ). Might be worth " chatting" again with your dealer.
Rough with the smooth! That car is like having a massage from someone with 40 grit gloves on!
This one isn't worth saving Matt, but you already know that. Ironically, Kia outsells Ford in the UK today with it's current models.....
Scrapheap challenge 😄
Can't scrap it ,it's not been smoked in lol
Bonfire night in a few days thirdparty FIRE AND THEFT .!!😂😂
Oh come on Mat, just needs a good buff and plates!
Good job you didn't go to pick this up after the EV6... 😂
When I see cars being treated like this I started to think if the owner of those cars are trustworthy at all. These Korean cars ask you pretty little and gave you in return pretty pretty much
Part it out man!
Matt bought a shed: a ropey red shed and massively overspent 😁
I see the title and immediately I thought it was a shitbox so I immediately clicked hahaha
Great video, as always!
Ngl that dealer was being a bit scummy for even selling you that hunk of junk I know you don’t have a choice but like still that’s not cool in my book granted that I’m a nobody who’s never worked in this industry so I don’t know how common it is, but I feel like this is way too much of a scrap for them to be trying to sell to you
I'm sad enough to actually feel sorry for the car - as if it has feelings. Poor thing! (That's addressed to me as well as the car!!)
Straight to the scrap yard, I'm not sure the scrap yard would even make their £250 back.
The bad car reviews are as funny as the reviews certain reviewers do for bad films. Its much more entertaining.
Once I’m done with my V90, I might import a car/van from Japan 🇯🇵
I wouldn't have the nerve to trade that in
Looks like it's survived a recent banger race with only superficial scarring.
Reminds me of the top gear bmw episode where they found blood n poo in the cars interiors
Also a paving slab to weigh down the rear wheels, what numpty did that? Same guy who owned this Kia
As a current 2008 Ceed owner, this is awful.
Drive it straight to the scrappy.
That car is in better condition than any car I have ever owned
I had one of these. Start consuming massive amounts of oil so I dumped it. (Later it was exported out of the country)😂
Even cars that are still around from the 80s are in better condition. Also my sisters boyfriend is in need of a cheap estate car. Not even I can recommend this car to him.
Disclaimer: CarVertical has no access to most data in countries like Switzerland.
Had one of these, went to scrap as the sub frame rotted away.
Maybe a stronger kind of tape could help with those rust holes 🤣🤣
Imagine what the owners house looks like
Why do you say it's worth £250 scrap when all they offer is £220??
Fresh set of plates might lift it....
I doubt it
Take the 3.3t from a stinger & put it in it.
Better scrap the range rover too. As one problem means are others around the corner.
It looks like it was found in a National Trust pond.
Every time I am convinced that your channel is a real find for everyone who appreciates quality content. Keep up the good work!🦐⛹️🌆

remember to bring your bio-hazard suit next time
Think you need a medal for just getting into that thing, and you may just need to get yourself a mini valet after you get out of it 🤣
I just sold the same car in silver had it 2 years was a great car much better condition tho
Matt how much would you let the Chevrolet go for on Credit card? Does it run ok?
Mat ref your rr look straight at it front on ,close your right eye and it will be fine😂
its a HAZ - MAT jobActually ive driven a car like that from Wales back to London - I was gagging all the way
What a state. How can folk ride around in a car like that.
