We have the same car from 2012, 1.4 petrol in black. If you consider one of these, just ignore this car. It’s crap. The engine runs fine and it has a nice steering feeling I have to say. But built quality wise it is not comparable to a Golf or Focus. Lumber support: broken; Kia nav+radio: touch screen unresponsive; Dashboard: plastic fantastic; And most important: it rusts for some years. Especially under the top window rubber seals. Water accumulates between the rubber and metal and it simple eats aways the top part of the doors. When you see the rust coming from under the seal it; s too late. Sorry, but no Kia’s for me. Kia presented the Cee’d as the Golf ‘beater’ at the time but sorry, its far from that.
Repaired with gauze from a first-aid kit 😂😂 Back in the 70's, I looked over a Mk2 Cortina. The doorsills on both sides had been covered with masking tape that was then liberally coated with underseal. I still wonder if anyone was daft enough to buy that box of tinworm.
I had a Colt CZC 1 and a 2 and 3 for a few years. The 1 ended up on it's side on Roman Road in Mile End, London after the local clowncil left a block of concrete in the road and I whacked into it. Not a bad car, fun to drive but suffered electrical issues with the windows. The 3's are quite good fun with the Turbo!
Was all going down hill and you were thinking well things can only get better, then realised your Range Rover was looking at home in the scrap section, Bugger 🤣

I can't comprehend how people aren't embarrassed to show up with their car in that dirty condition. Either to a car dealer or even for an MOT. I reckon the original owner took good care of it, with the Yokohama tyres, servicing, National Trust sticker - then the owners after neglected it. Shame really!

I'm so glad I got to watch this! I've drove worse though.......
I hope your Range Rover's suspension is alright. Keep your chin up and carry on with the good work. And, don't let the b*stards get you down.
Could have flogged it to your local Uber Eats driver for £400 🤣🤣
Why you sat in that I don't know .. and I love how you said that white stain looks VERY disconcerting lmao 🤣
If it is that sort of stain I can't imagine the sort of female who would get into that car.
That Mazda MX-5 was the star of this video. Please get it back on the road ASAP.
What he said! The only car I regret selling and I'd have another in an heartbeat!
I'm at work, night shift, on my tea break and I'm not watching anymore of this upload as that cars putting me off my dinner
Welcome to Matts car graveyard! Cobwebs in the Kia ? Well it’s almost Halloween ! Great video.
When I see cars in that state I wonder what the hell their house looks like cracking podcast as usual Matt
Repaired with gauze from a first-aid kit 😂😂
Back in the 70's, I looked over a Mk2 Cortina. The doorsills on both sides had been covered with masking tape that was then liberally coated with underseal. I still wonder if anyone was daft enough to buy that box of tinworm.
That’s nearly as bad as the interior of a Royal Mail van...I kid you not. 🤢
Sorry you lost money, but this video really made me laugh. Great humour and very entertaining. Keep up the good work!
Matt l love these vids keep up the good work mate 👍
Was all going down hill and you were thinking well things can only get better, then realised your Range Rover was looking at home in the scrap section, Bugger 🤣
"You mustn't do this" that had me in stitches
Mat just to clarify. That damage is often caused when two cars try to pass each other from opposit directions on narrow patches of road.... unsuccessfully. My car also looks like that. One never thinks it will happen to them.
Got an idea
All ones u are keeping park them right next to eachother or behind one and other single file
And the gettn rid of ones over far side behind each other single profile
Damn, there is a lot of youtube adverts in this episode. Should easily make the £400 back. Lol😅
‘Where are we going with this’ Straight to the Scrap Yard maybe 😮💨😂
I appreciated the bohhemian rhapsody reference, even if nobody else did...
Matt you have got a photographic memory. I struggle remembering my own number plate and you know it from a scrapped Fiesta from 2 days ago? Crazy stuff.
Hi matt, all I can say is OMG who would bring a car to a dealer like that, I would have chased them, hope you have all your shots, from marty in Belfast northern Ireland God bless
That thing looks horrifying, both inside and out. Which ironically is perfect since you uploaded this video one day before Halloween. The Hight Peak Autos channel unintended Halloween Special. And, at only 400 Pounds Sterling you've _still_ massively overspent. 😉
Straight to the scrap yard, I'm not sure the scrap yard would even make their £250 back.
@@stepjamie £220
@ I was being optimistic for Matt 🤣
@@stepjamie Every time he rings up they literally offer £220 regardless LOL
New sub from Gee cross Hyde, enjoying your videos 👍
This is the sort of title I look foward to from this channel :))
With an mot worth 500 quid for the handyman who wants an estate and will run it for a year. Worth a mechanic having a look, but they will probably run.
Hi Matt, why don’t you have a drop sheet to put on the driver’s seat of these dirty vehicles that you have to evaluate. Especially if they smell. Really enjoy your posts. Regards Phil
You've got to get rid of those stupid wind deflectors on that blue Picanto. I hate those! They spoil a decent little car.
Another good video Matt 🚗🚙🚘👏👏👏👍👍👍👍👍
I can't comprehend how people aren't embarrassed to show up with their car in that dirty condition. Either to a car dealer or even for an MOT. I reckon the original owner took good care of it, with the Yokohama tyres, servicing, National Trust sticker - then the owners after neglected it. Shame really!
She's had a hard life! I've had two of these and found them to be very practical and fundamentally decent, if a little dull. This one looks like it's been (ab)used as a work snotter by a 'drive it til it breaks' kind of owner. It's no defence of the neglect this car has suffered, but that carpet is a bugger to clean; it's like bloody velcro 🤪 You're a brave man to even sit in it, and I think we're all happy that smell-o-vision isn't a thing...
Mini valet, and a buff, then drag it off a pier 😅
Hi Matt. I don't think you've ever done a video covering warranties on 2nd hand cars - I think that would be really useful.
Can't you just return it? They are clearly taking the proverbial with that heap of rust.
@@AndyJackson380 As described...
Take it to High edge, Start your own high peak autos banger racing team.
Totally get how it works - got to take some bad with the good. In the long run, profitable.
You should just send your main dealer this video and ask him if he was flippin' serious about peddling this hearse of shit.
Mended the sill the most generous description ever
