Man, I wish DOT would put as much effort into finding vandals as they do looking for blown light bulbs.
That would require them to do real work. They can't handle that 😂
They would if people started making them and went about it the right way and really did something about it besides just making commentsection or thumbs up, it's a start but it needs to go further.
We need to make the roads safe again! You must be a USA citizen and be able to speak and read English all driving test must be in English!
it's gone to far too many north American went along with the government game it's the same with A I..
Americans won't drive trucks because the job sucks. Your plan will keep 75% of trucks parked. Then more companies out of business, and store shelves empty
I agree this is insane.
Must be in English AND the test must be taken WITHOUT an interpreter. HUMAN OR ELECTRICAL!!!
We had a tanker trucker, delivering chemicals, STOP on the railroad tracks. Of course, here comes a train. Trucker couldn’t speak a word of English, didn’t understand the railway system…got out of his truck and ran. One of the guys at work jumped in the truck and managed to move it literally an inch before the train hit it. The train applied its breaks, blew his horn..did everything he could. When the train finally came to a full stop, the engineer jumped out cussing like a mad man. They instantly reviewed the video on the train. Yes, it was within an inch from hitting the truck.
A friend of mine left JB Hunt because he got sick and tired of continuous messages about running the truck air conditioner in 102 degree in the shade heat while waiting for a load or on his break. Enough was enough and I agreed.
AS DO I.
JB Hunt is the main culprit utilizing trains to eliminate cargo loads for trucks
That’s how they make their money. 90 cents for surface 20 cents for rail miles 90 cents to customer is how they explained it to us in the 90’s.
Good!
Rail is better the roads are literally clogged with trucks. And todays trucker ain't your friendly muthatrucker... nooo its more likely some rude mfr from south america
@@MakerMarkNo word of a lie 👍
Governments are really pushing intermodel in my state. Regional "inland ports" are being built all over the state.
The tire slasher works in industry supplying tires to large trucks. That would be my first target as a detective.
Yep investigate every tire shop nice and slowly road services dudes
So who set the fires in LA brush?
@@mochiebellina8190 Either homeless or else CCP operatives.
Weird that the 3 biggest fires all started at nearly the same time.
@@mochiebellina8190someone that had an agenda similar to what happened in Hawaii a while back.
I wonder if the Georgia Tire slasher is related to the shoe bomber?
Thankfully we have 16 million new drivers that just came across the border. As soon as they finish their minimum training. We can get them on the road for half the wages. Then the profits of these mega companies will return.
😂😂😂😂😂😂right.
100% RIGHT!!
Until the next major crash they have to pay out for😂
48 hours to DEPORT TIME 💯👍😎👌✌🏻✌🏻
Thank president Musk
I just sent an email to the new transportation secretary to see if we can get a federal law passed to make willfully causing damage to a commercial truck a federal offense.
Good idea.
Yeah that's what we need another federal law. More regulation is always good.
ButtPlug Pete cannot care any less !
That is great. Pass a Federal Law that states every thing on the trucks have to be Level-3+ ready AND maintained by its owner or do away with CSA's and PSP's on that driver.
The business model for passing this buck should never have started.
Even protection laws passed on a state by state basis would help - similar to the laws many states now have to protect hunters from interference by activists.
Not surprised. I worked for J.B.Hunt from '93-99. They had unusual priorities back then. If anything had more than 27 miles on it it had to go on the rail. You would have to find the shipper, go through all the hassles of picking up the load, and spend all the log book time to get everything set up, only to find, sometimes by surprise, that it had to go to the rail. Unfun.
I got stuck on an intermodal for 2 days ….. short hop BS with mucho p work . Dispatch n I came to an agreement and I got the Hell out of that. JB was not fun
I hear you I also had worked for them and left a comment which you might enjoy reading one of the worst places I ever worked that's all they preached about was safety safety but if you have a safety issue they didn't want to hear about it and then if you did have a problem they wanted you to go to a safety course in New Jersey
I drove for Decker , they were a great company to work for. Good benefits, insurance, great bonus program, great equipment
Good company that utilizes driver facing cams … hmmm doesn’t sound like a good company to me . Just my opinion
@@Bryan-lg3fnFACTS, I turned them down just for that reason alone
You know it's bad when the mega corps are down. Just imagine how many small companies are barely hanging on
I threw in the towel back in 2023. I refused to call myself a fool for spend nearly a year hoping things would get better. I left with my rear intact but many other truckers didnt. I know the mentality but trucking simply isn't worth it anymore.
We did well during c19 thing but last few years 2022,2023,2024 have been pretty dang ruff for small logistics company here in Missouri. But we haven't gave up still plugging away.
@@outreachvideoagree 💯 we expanded by opening a logistics warehouse to ship/receive,hold and deliver freight. It's helped us to be able to keep going. We might be quitting the otr and start with local box truck freight.
I'm a single owner op with paid off equipment, and I'm struggling. Hard to keep food on the table.
Change your business model or the business will change you
I work for Decker and it’s a good company they have done a lot of changes but added more work and keep me moving ! That terminal was hardly used and wasn’t needed.
Great insight!!! Still wishing the best for the 18 employees
You better get ready to find somewhere else to work man. That terminal not that expensive when you talking about operating that many trucks. If they doing that it’s much more bleak for them than there letting on
Hay Angela. Wouldn’t mind being your team driver. Creeeeepy lol 😊
Still remember when they opened that terminal, was kinda surprised they did
Drove for jb hunt years ago, karma hits hard when it comes back around. Ill never ever cry if jb goes under. Not telling the story but best decision i ever made was leaving jb. Peace
👍
I just left jb after two years. They are extremely top heavy. They come to work every day and have all day meetings on how they can take more money away from truck drivers. The ceo recently bragged about putting as much freight as possible on train. The problem is they are no longer a trucking company they are a freight broker. A person would be a fool to stay there as a driver.
I left in July after almost 3 years local intermodal. Working 6 days a week and 60+ hours. My manager couldn't seem to show up more then a few days a week because she couldn't find a babysitter. Somehow they kept her around. Meanwhile they transferred another manager instead of promoting someone who has demonstrated real work ethic.
DEI
FYI THERE IS GUYS WAITING IN VEHICLES IN REST AREAS JUST SITTING AND WAITING FOR THE RIGHT TIME. I JUST THINK ITS THE LOCAL TIRE COMPANIES THAT IS DOING THIS
Im suspicious that a local tire company is dumping nails in the road around my town
Makes sense to me. Somebody needs to have a talk with the guys at the local Bergblattsteinowitz Tire Sales Center...or a local owner op who is EXTREMELY UPSET about cutthroat "cheap-freight" drivers who caused him to lose his regular customer direct loads. This seems like a bit much for a random tweaker with no good reason.
CEO guarantee is not losing any money or sleep
$10 says it's a tire mechanic
Follow the money lol
J B screwed the freight up years ago under bidding everyone else now it's biting them in the ass
I work for JB Hunt in CA for their intermodal division. Q4 as a driver was weak towards the end. Typically we can go strong until mid January, when it starts to slow. So typically I can work thanksgiving morning and they’ll pay like $100 extra to work that day or $200 extra if we work all of Thanksgiving weekend. But they didn’t, they told people they could take all 4 days off (Thursday to Sunday) free AND it was the same for Christmas. So yeah that killed driver’s pay if they didn’t have PTO.
Wow!!!! So definitely slower than usual
@ Yeah Very. It doesn’t help when you have Kohls, Macys, etc closing stores. When are all stores I have done loads for going from the DCs to the Railroad, and vice versa.
Wow!!
We have a driver in the family drives PA. And Ohio. Appreciate all of the drivers as it's not an easy job. A job that most of the public doesn't appreciate or have a clue as it's not an easy job! BTW appreciate everyone that actually works for a living!
Bless you drivers!
JB Hunt used to be one of if not the most common logos on rigs on the road. Now, it seems all I see are Ego and swift.
I see Ego and Swift/Knight on the roadways. I see JBHunts riding the rails.
Georgia especially Atlanta metro is THE WORST PLACE in the nation to drive. Period. You can say NY and LA but imo it's by far ATL.
Yup. I don't like all the black people.
Black culture keeps keeping on
Washington DC is.
Oh, i agree
Washington sucks
To put in perspective for y’all I’m a swift driver. At the terminal I run out of we didn’t have def for a few weeks, and I come to find out yesterday we don’t have any drive tires in stock, and they’re doing everything they can to take our monthly bonuses away. It’s bad right now.
Lmao bonuses are a scam at swift
It's all at knight an nfi an Navajo an 2 refrigeration Co
Over a billion dollars a month isn't falling on tough times people! Don't let these mega carriers bs you
If you wanna catch the ice, pick bandit, find what truck and tire dishes out the most truck tires

If customers aren’t selling freight we can’t move it. 🙏
And if the end buyer doesn't have a job, he will not buy anything other than food.
Cycle of life
This wouldn't be happening if Mike Hunt was running the company.
Exactly 🎉
Yup, Ithings have gone downhill ever since Haywood Jablome took over .

Jb is one of the reasons why trucking is so cheap and a huge reason with the rail thats been hurting trucking for years
Good observation and all facts
But there is more parking at the truck stops!
Where did all the CRST trucks go? I'm glad they are off the road!
That was super cool by those truckers to show love to that family who lost their son.. Watching from Kingston Jamaica 🇯🇲 👍💞
One thing that has a direct impact on the trucking industry is the railroad industry and the intermodal service.
My guy was listening 2 you since my 1st load glad 2 see u still dropping content 2 help us out!
Appreciate you. Still at it!!! Thank you for what you do
I hope they shut them all down make the road safe again with professional drivers
Why isn't this jerk who is damaging truck tire not caught yet? This should be a federal offense. He should be caught and given a life in prison sentence.
Has not been caught yet because probably a big Democratic financial supporter
I don't want to pay for his imprisonment. Let him do the hempen jig.
I remember when JB Hunt trucks were being set on fire in Canada. JB was taking weekend backhauls from Canada for super cheap just to get drivers back stateside. They would wake up the driver and let him out of the truck before torching it.
The bigger companies are going under. If we all just sit at home for 2 days we would be good
4 days. 2 isn't critical.
If all of the independents , (AKA) Owner/Operators that are still out there would take a week vacation across the industry , we would see a massive change in the business.
The "mega-carriers" can't handle all of the cargo that needs to be moved, because they don't want to have to pay for the excessive costs of higher freight rates , and better driver pay.
When the store shelves start going empty , and the gasoline supplies get to a point where buying a horse is a better option, this country might start to wake the hell up !
So you want your company to go under? This statement doesn’t make any sense. Who are you going to hurt by staying home for two days?
@@SwampDog-w8iNobody is staying home because the majority of Americans owe their soul to the banks. They have us just where they want us.
@
The fact is, that if some of these super-inflated trucking companies go "belly-up", the industry will likely rebound . The smaller companies will be better able to fill the holes , and the owner/operators will have a better field of vision to steer clear of the bloated freight brokers that are killing the business by subverting the rates to these "mega-fleets"
Another great video. Thanks for putting out these updates. This is one of the best channels on RUclips.
Really appreciate you! Doing my best to provide current information everyday
My family company after 66 years closed the doors after exhausting options. That was in 99 and was a major truck line in the NW
Was that Natoins Way? If so they went out because the owner kept putting all the profits in the Colorado Rockies baseball team.
I don't care if they are the oldest trucking company or not I work for them briefly and I hate it working for them. Seem like they always want to be right. And if you did have a safety issue it's like they didn't want to hear about it and yet that's all they preached and their trucks sucked to drive with all that new technology. I drove for them in the Northeast and there was issues with the trucks in the snow and I told them they had the wrong kind of tires on. And of course they didn't want to hear it or understand but I was an owner operator for 30 some years and knew what I was talking about I'm just glad I'm done with them.
How is it possible 24000 drivers keep the secrets how swift operate. Muther trucker you know the game and you play it good, mucker!!
Can pick out hundreds from a capital gathering, but no luck on the tire slasher.😅
JB Hunt’s operating income for the year was 831 million dollars. JB could have given every driver a $5,000 Christmas bonus and still have more than 700 million dollars in operating income.
The ice pick bandit isn’t going to be upright for very long, picked the wrong type of guys to be messing with. Keep your eyes open boys
*and girls lol I think they got me down in lake city Florida at a TA about a week and a half ago
He gets caught by the wrong driver, he'll be begging for the cops to come get him. If I saw some owner-op get him for ruining tires, I'm not feeling any pity for him.
Several weeks ago the ice pick bandit destroyed the tires on 30 trucks at the T/A truck stop in Wildwood, Florida. It's definitely not a tire company doing this. The T/A and four other tire companies had to go there and replace tires.
They got quite a few tires at the T/A in Denmark Tn. Awhile back so I doubt that it's someone in the tire business
They got all 18 of mine at the Gas N Go in Pinehurst, GA
Seems like most companies that have initials in their name aren't favorable to work for. Jb hunt, cr England, etc😂
Appreciate you Brother!
Want to buy a truck but might stay company and invest in something else trucking seem too risky financially for one person
Thats the picture of the guy slashing tires at TA IN DENMARK TN
JBHuntis a sinister company. When trucking was deregulated in the mid 1980s JB Hunt drop their milage rate and put many Owner operators off the roads and out of business. Many truck drivers hated JB HUNT for that and made many jokes about their drivers.
JB has bragged that if they make .01/mile profit they are good. Unbelievable.
They should check out companies who are repairing the tires
Regarding the tire slasher aka ice pick bandit; Follow the money. Person of intrest is probably connected to the repair/tire industry.
Just got hired at Decker as a flat bed driver out of Des Moines, Iowa… so far so good…
Nice!!!! Thanks for the insight. Goodluck on everything
Have heard from talking to other drivers that Decker ain’t bad at all . Safe travel and success driver👍😎
I work in the LTL side and we were informed about FedEx freight having a bad net loss, we were warned to prepare for our sales staff to get more of their business.
I used to drive for Decker flatbed. They deleted my terminal in Chicago out of nowhere and left me without a job about 10 years ago. Not surprised at all.
They are one of those companies who say “you’re not a number, you’re family!”
Sure…and a toxic family at that. They left a bad taste in my mouth. They “trained” me and charged money for the training, after deleting my terminal they did a debt collection on me for thousands of dollars. They also constantly threatened me with firing me throughout my time with them. They are not a good company.
Explains why they lost my tub being shipped LTL for an entire week.
Damaging tires police is sleeping.
Joe Biden told to stay sleep 😴 at polices.
Local tire shop, i belief
Who is responding to most of the repairs?
First mistake was the woman ceo. Just saaaaaying
Just how much is upper managers making? and their CEOs? I am getting old and need to consider becoming an owner operator.
I don't know if this qualifies as the worst but this economy definitely isn't as good a Kamala says it is.
Someone who is armed needs to meet this fool and take care of business !
Why isn't this CRIMINAL getting Arrested? WTH❗
New precedent.
They been slashing tires for over a year now .....hit a string of truckstops in Texas on I 20 back in the fall. KY and Tennessee last summer. It appears to be organized....... possible terrorism
Wow. Remember all the warehouses that were purposely burned down a few years back too
No doubt
My guesses are tire shops or climate activists
Probably spend all the money in EGR,s and sensors, new trucks are NOT PROFITABLE
I laughed out loud at the dig at Cash is King’s Trucker News intro! lol…
That's my friend right there!!!!! Great guy!!!!
If any body know this ice pick bandit better talk am sure that someone knows this bandit please report to local authorities this shit has to stop. My friend got hit by this bandit a few months ago.😢
Ice pick may meet up with Smith & Wesson.
well when trucking companies treat their employees horrible and just switch out their old ones for new ones, stuff happens.
I'm a dedicated J B Hunt driver, and our CEO is correct about the challenges in the freight market right now.
The incoming administration has everyone sitting on their hands before making any kind of forecast for their business models to move forward.
CHEAP FREIGHT RATES is the conversation, Shippers want cheaper rates because they feel the supply chain dictates a lower rate.
Brokers are putting those cheap freight rates out there, which attract O/O who have unreliable equipment that's subject to a breakdown, inexperienced at driving in winter conditions, to make revenue at a loss.
Drivers who have learned the industry stay away from such loads, while the Mega carriers sit in the ready till there called upon.
J. B. Hunt will continue to make adjustments to the operation and provide services to our contracted customers.
Until shippers review the costly performances of these inexperienced drivers who didn't keep delivery schedules, got involved in accidents where freight got damaged, beyond delivery and had to be replaced which has become more costly in an "effort to save a buck."
It’s hard to believe nobody has deleted him yet 😮
"Oh i wish i was a JB Hunt Truck Driver, that is what i always wanted to be-ee-e, cause if i was a J B Hunt Truck Driver, everyone would call me good buddy! "Thank you very much.
JB Hunt layoffs are on the horizon with those earnings.
Did you see covenant logistics group did a 2 to 1 stock split.
I drove for a total of 26 years. Started with werner. Pay was low and dispatcher left me sitting many times. They offered 12 weeks at $150 a week the trainee could draw and $150 went home. I hated that because i was always hungry or needing a shower. My family suffered too. Celadon and heartland express were the best.
Didn't JB Hunt buyout BNSF trailer train logistics and so their stock went up and now drops down as the trailer train thing has been around tried by several companies and the railroads just don't do personal delivery at the door service quickly. As it takes time to build up a large train to be profitable compared to a 1 truck leaves shipper and is at my loading dock delivering in a day or couple days depends on location from - locations too. Most fail in the end that's why BNSF sold off ...lol
Discount big companies don't care about their employees they care about their investors and stockholders find American people going to realize that realize that
Good report
JB Hunt I remember their trailers were orange used to have a camel with the logo "Humpin to Please" I think it was.

My mother would repeat the phrase every time she saw one and giggle.
no great loss here? jb hunt sold ass to cheap rates you get what you pay for.
The best thing to do is stop using rest areas in that area, no more ice pick criminals. I’m surprised someone hasn’t told the rest area it needs to put up extensive cameras, or the location will be boycotted by truckers. Put the Attorney General of each state onto this, and call the FBI, this sounds like terrorism if it is happening in multiple states.
What does a challenging truck environment mean?
Hey man, how are you doing Mr. Alex
I'm great. Hope your doing great too
@@MuthaTrucker🍮
Great video, Peace.
It’s tough out there. Even though people are talking about freight improving. Many companies have been barely hanging on and that’s going to take a great market for the rest of the year into 2026 for companies to fully recover. Hopefully we all learn to save for the continued boom/bust cycle of trucking.
Hey out there anyone else company been getting extra drop of a bag of bolts only u can hold in ur hand our company has and delivering in crazy places kinda makes u scratch ur head who's in on brokering
Why are all these trucking companies going out of business??? The supply chain is already stretched and now the products can't be transited to businesses because there are less trucks on the road?
Im in Chicago,Illinois. that’s all you see is JB Hunt .
this is hardly worth the headline
The Ice Pick guy hit all 18 of my tires in Pinehurst, woke up to several trucks around me with all their tires flat as well. If any of yall that got hit are in comments, I was the jb hunt truck parked by the blue international on the i75 side of lot
I would look to see if just certain truck companies tires were targeted.
Or.
Which ones were not.
Just about a week ago in Franklin Kentucky a guy lost 13 of his 18 tires same way

Hey guys, regarding the ice pick bandit…… start looking around at commercial tire shops in the areas this is happening in! How much you wanna bet it’s being done by someone working in a truck tire shop or truck stop shop! Job security man! I wouldn’t doubt it! AND ALEX, I think you’re thinking the same thing.
I've installed motion detectors on my trailer, the receiver is inside my cab. I'm a light sleeper. And I also have solar powered motion light on the trk & trl.
Look for local tire shop that is or looks like it’s having trouble, not getting the business they used to in the area, they are second or third choice for people in the area to get tires. It will be one of the owners
Jb Hunt tried hard to get me to drive for them. I always felt they might fall.
