The plot hole that troubled me here was the fact that the "creepy unwashed" gang on the dock had access to all those boats but didn't used them to cross to the island? Why not?
the biggest plot hole I found was when the aliens survived the vacuum of space but couldn't just survive under water and walk under water to the island that's making loud noises because sound travels much farther underwater than it does on land so Im just confused why they cant just walk underwater back to land or maybe to the island
oh and the explosion that Emily blunts character created should have ruptured the monsters eardrums because of the rapid change in air pressure especially with the sensitivity the monsters have since their hearing is so good.
That doesn't even bother me this what bothers me is in the first one they showed the alien/monster clearly swimming under water but suddenly in the second one the moment it's in water it drowns instantly like wtf
So many reviewer channels full of really obvious stuff and common griping or that “look at me I’m a film expert” nonsense tone. Why is this channel not huge. It’s way better than most movie commentary channels
Yo, you are a hero for calling oceanography. Lol. That one Lil plot hole. THIS ONE PLOT HOLE (breathe)… ruined the movie. I’ve never written a script, but if I did, I’d write it exactly the way they did in order to ruin the first movie n piss pple like me off.
I mean, that fixes the minor plot hole of how it got to the island but that whole sequence introduced a major plothole since now they're saying the creatures can't swim, then how did they end the world? There are loads of islands that are across the ocean for example, how did they even take over the world at all if they can't cross water without extreme coincidences like this? And even with this, like yeah, maybe one boat could make it but not so many that a swarm of them could invade, and if it's just 1 or 2, they should be more than capable of killing them, especially since the deaf girl already knows how to stun lock them so they go down to even a single strike from a child. It being possible doesn't actually fix all that much when you think about it.
Exactly! What about all the navel warships out in the ocean? They said the national guard was getting people on boats. Here is a super simple way to rid the planet of these things...line the naval ships along the coast. Make a bunch of noise, and the ones that don't drown like that stupid one did in the movie, you blast them to hell with all the armaments our tax dollars paid for, instead of paying for universal healthcare. The first film was fine but this was embrassing writing on almost every level.
Also, unrelated to this film, why doesn't anyone wear chainmail in zombie films? If zombies can't bite you, they are no threat to you. If you wore armor, you could take your time and kill plenty of zombies. The island solution also works for most zombie movies, except the walking dead where anyone on the island would become a zombie after they die. Even in that scenario, why wouldn't you become a boat person?
@@michaelconn2627 museum might have lots of zombie and some may not have or a fake version of it in most of the zombie movie I've seen didn't have a museum as location they went to
@@michellejaypasia8857 How they got there in time to intervene with the main characters is convenient but why they exist is fine, to me anyway. They’re of the few people that went bad because of the apocalyptic event.
The monsters are organic, thus they need to eat and breathe. How did they survive space and the radiation for ridiculous amounts of time to travel to out planet? How many came to earth? If their insides are soft, the shocks from falls and explosions would kill them. Bullet proof, to what degree? The military has guns that are Armour piercing. If they can't swim, many of the the places on the planet is safe. The asteroid him Mexico but it was not big enough to cause serious damage to the earth so this thing could not even be close to half a mile in length. This means that how many of these creatures can be on this asteroid? Clearly not enough to do global damage especially seeing a well placed shotgun could kill one and these things come to america with many gun owners? They need a better organic story for these creatures. The Tomorrow War had a good origin story for the aliens. Also how was the news papers printed? The town was destroyed the first day

You got me researching sound in relation to water now.

So your "plot hole" was basically just you not believing its possible that an object on top of water could be moved by waves?

I guess Hawaii is doing pretty good then
just watched the movie with my wife and the movie was not bad but its overrated. plot holes everywhere.
What ones did you notice?
Why are there crazy child and crazy adults during the boat scene?
