If we talk in general for arena, paying attention to the healer, setting up chain cc with other people, when they waste trinket, after you have opportunity to kill somebody, switching between targets when they use defensive's is a really good thing to do, important when enemy is bursting to use own defensive's accordingly if they go on you or if you can help somehow to delay their damage that's a good thing to, by slowing,gripping away target if you a DK or (other cc) . (I will assume you play a DK)
Good practice to use focus always on heal and make some focus keybindings for interrupts,silence,stun and other.
(I will still assume you play a DK)
As a DK to grip in healer while you hit the dps and the dps is beside you and blind at least 2 ppl, death and decay and start bursting, doing dmg is always a good thing to do ... The earlier you start to waste your cd-s and stuff like silence, blind let's say , and other the better, since you might earlier have a chance to burst the enemy again and maybe healer won't have trinket.
Start using macros - Stop using those green marking stuff to place down death and decay, anti magic zone use /cast [@cursor] D...d it's much faster, no need to double click the spell to place them down ...
Practice makes the master ... :) watching videos how others play and learning what they do in specific situations is one of the best ways besides learning stuff on your own by playing.
No need to rage if you lose, always look what you could have done better ...
Try to always decide with the people you are with in arena who you wanna kill before arena starts, basically who your kill target will be, still that doesn't mean you will sit him all the game and do nothing else, you switch to others when he is not low hp, using defensive's that you literally do no or low damage to him while you burst.
Pay attention to who your partner is attacking if its a 3sv3 game.
WoW PVP really takes time to learn, because you have to learn each class what they can do and how to counter ... the more you know the better you get ...

Whats the basic rotation for unholy in pvp, im about to level a dk to max but compared to frost unholy just seems lacking in damage and i know im doing something very wrong
Well you can dark transform your pet to apply the diseases... chains of ice the enemy ...defile ... Fester.strike unholy assault apocyalypse and clawing shadows or if you really want damage u totally go for death coils with sudden doom to burst 3 wounds and spamm coils fester. st. to keep fester wounds on the enemy ... That deals most of the dmg ... Clawing build is the best atm i would say ... Since only that got slightly buffed and everything 10%- dmg nerfed overall ... You can keep apocalypse when enemy low hp to finish off ... So important to have stacks of fester 4+ on enemy ...

Nobody cares, game is bugged.
haven't noticed any bugs regarding PVP talents and so ... only unbalance which is normal for pre-patch ... and let's be honest .... the game is and always will have unbalance :) and that is what makes the game fun in some cases ...
nice video..I just leveled a new DK and I have no idea what to do for damage.
can you tell me what is the damage rotation for both burst and sustain damage ?
I feel like my damage is really low and the highest number I can get is 70k crit ?! is this normal because in my other classes I can do 500k crits sometimes so what is up with DK ?
So we talk about unholy then it is ... let's see ... a new tip > since i kept testing it further i noticed that Festermight is different and seems pretty good to be taken now ... the talent next to abomination limb

Try it out its a clawing build > ofc you can change some stuff ... mby want to use abomination but i don't feel like it has a big benefit to use it ...
uh to much explanation needed ... mby a video would be best that i make ....
Regarding damage > you need to keep diseases on the enemy to get bonus dmg
You transform your pet to get more dmg, fester strike the enemy, unholy assault, apocalypse and then if by any chance you have sudden doom you can use it, but better to Festering strike first therefore you will burst 3 wounds what hits pretty nicely ...
You can even try to get two sudden dooms and get 6 festering wounds on the enemy and pop them ... that is huge ... specially if your pet is transformed and you used unholy assault, and diseases are up on the enemy ...
You get 4 festering wound from unholy assault so + one festering strike u cap it at 6
or you can use 2 festering strikes in a row mby you get 6 immediately maybe not, then you can use even 3 festering ... and just pop them ... afterwards with doom burst
now one more thing if you use death coil with sudden doom you can get a buff to clawing shadows ... u can spam clawing as well ... and it's specifically good once targets get below 35% but if you get sudden doom that will hit even harder if enemy is on such low lvl ... hope this helps a bit at least .... it's to much for me to write ....
