'Fearless' John probably had bigger balls than the entire modern F1 grid combined. He only won 6 F1 GPs but he was one of those drivers who tended to make bad choices in the cars he drove. He could have had a Team Lotus drive in 1960 but didn't think he was ready for one.
Great human being class act his record will never be beaten.
