    I feel Sha'carri would greatly benefit from getting on the 60m indoor circuit early next year like Lyles did this year, her reaction time is consistently and uniquely bad, she straight up hibernates in those blocks and still performs as well as she does at this level. I earnestly believe a competent start from her would lead to a new PB. low 10.60s to high 10.50s for sure

      @scottakili3009 so there is a there is a max acceleration of 6 to 7 seconds theory. You can get it earlier and hang on or you can get it later. She was winning on getting it later. Alfred coming with so much power is a different story. If someone like her blows SheCarri out the hole SheCarri won't even be able to kick into her most top gear. She won't be able to get into it. So yes I think she needs to be more competitive on 60m and have the confidence from doing that.

      @@dennisrobinson8008Alfred’s power has nothing to do with it, she’s not faster than her, but Sha’carri starts are often a disaster, if she was a half a meter or 1 meter behind she would’ve caught her and beat her, but instead she was 2/3 meters behind, you’re not catching someone after spotting them 2 or 3 meters. Most sprinters reach their maximum speed *top end speed* between 50-60 meters, then they start to slow down, Sha’carri reaches hers between 60-70 meters clocking in at 24.6 mph and she’s able to hold it till the end of the race, that’s how she was able to past 4 runners in the last 10 meters of the 100M to get the 🥈, only Elaine Thompson has been clocked faster at 24.8 mph, those two have the greatest top end speed from 60-100M in the women’s field.

    I’m the biggest fan of Sha’Carrie and Lyles, but after seeing the reaction of St. Lucians on that 100m win and then the the reception Tebogo received at home after winning Africa’s first ever Olympic gold in the 200m, I was happy with the wins. That said, Sha’Carrie was all nerves in that Olympic final which cost her the win. She is the superior sprinter of the two.

      I think her being made to walk to the final and barely making it on time is the reason for her losing. It’s a crime that Shelly Ann didn’t run because of the same issue. Lucky enough Richardson didn’t use not being able to warm up as an excuse. He even placing after that nonsense is commendable.

    Great analysis. I pointed out previously (some other video) that Julien's 10.72s is faster than Sha'carri's 10.71s when wind-adjusted at 0.0m/s and at +2.0m/s.
    Sha'carri can move her legs given the 10.65s and 10.57s with a +4.1m/s wind. Can't count her out.
    I think with Julien's speed in the first 60m, if she transitions to a longer stride by 2 inches per stride over next 40meters using her momentum she can break FloJo's record of 10.49s. (Let's give it a year)
    Both will be competitive for the next few (10??) years. Julien is my home-girl so rooting for her. But I like competition. They can alternate wins keeping the comment section lively. ☺

      Julien will not break Flo jo record before shacarri and this is pure because she is a very tensed runner. She does have great speed and power however Shacarri possesses more the running style to break such a record due to her relaxation. If Shacarri works a bit on her focus and refine her technique and start Julien will not catch her!!!

    Proud St. Lucian here.... The writing was and has been on the wall. Alfred is a beast, especially in the 60m where she is undefeated and has perfected her burst out of the blocks. Her main weakness was her top end speed, but that's no longer a weakness as she has worked hard on it, and Sha'Carri got a taste of it at the Olympics... You'll need to stop making excuses. Sha'Carri got beat in the semi finals where she thought she could run down Alfred but couldn', and from ther, she knew what she was really up agains, which whe she came to finals she was toast. Watch the races ppl you could see she was mentally defeated after the semis. Alfred is going to be ready come Sept 5th..... In the video he says it, Alfred last 40m from the 60m was faster than Sha'Carri, which means her top end speed was way faster.

Bad starts robbed Tyson Gay of better clock times, and the same goes for Noah Lyles. This isn't about excuses. Sha'Carri needs a coach who can fix her bad starts. Shericka had bad starts too, but she managed to correct them. Shelly dominated for so long because she had a rocket start. Am I saying that's an unfair advantage? No, it’s just part of the race. As far as women’s sprints go the top spot is up for grabs. There’s no one athlete that dominates on the world stage. Sha’Carri may lose at the Olympics then come back to win at the Diamond League meet. That little Jamaican girl Tia Clayton can have a good day and beat both Julien and Sha’Carri there times are so close and everyone has room for improvement. Plus we are void of the top Jamaican sprinters even if they don’t win they force everyone else to bring their A game and we see faster times. I like this for the sport competition is exciting.

    i think it will come down to how mentally resillient Richardson is, Alfred will still be on a high from her Olympic gold and pumped up to cement her dominance, if Richardson can bounce back and get her head straight its gonna be right down to the wire and really could go either way, the start will play a big part as u mentioned but i dont think Richardson was up for the Olympic final, yes she was a 10th down by the 30m mark but she lost by 2/10ths and usually her top end speed makes up for her poor starts, its gonna be fun to watch whoever wins

    It's amazing how they're so many diagnosis as to why shacarri loss and all she needs to do to win. Can Alfred just be faster than her? Lol.... can we just swallow our food already? At one time it was all about Olympic gold. Now here we are talking about times? That would not change the fact Alfred is the Olympic Gold Medalist. So can we just get over it

    • @UTP504
      @UTP504 13 дней назад +2

      Welp, considering Alfred has never run faster times than her in college or the pros, and she’s never ran anything close to 10.65, so NO, we can’t just say she’s faster, because she’s literally NEVER ran faster than her thus far😂, but she’s did run better and faster than her in the Olympics 100M, and she deserved to win 🥇, great performance by her.

    • @bloodlinekennelclub
      @bloodlinekennelclub 12 дней назад

      @UTP504 my point exactly. If Arsenal beat real Madrid in a champion league final, if you know what that is by the way. They're just crowned best team, that's the whole point of a competition. To see who's the best. You may not score a goal on that day, that just mean the other team got the better of you. So they best you on the day that counts. That's it. When shacarri got world champion last year u soaked in it. Back to your point. Does she have faster times than any of the Jamaican women she ran against. Cuz I can assure you they got faster times than her so why none of this then? That's all I'm saying. U guys got too much pride. Alfred got gold so it's tough for you to rant right now . I get it. You will get over it my man

    • @bloodlinekennelclub
      @bloodlinekennelclub 12 дней назад

      Ok , here's 1 for you. Noah is my guy so I hate to do this. But is Noah the fastest man in the world? Lol. He got the gold. I don't see you guys saying that kishane is the fastest in the comments. Lol... and he has the fastest times for the season. So if we gonna rely on the past we will never move forward. Fastest times ever are for the record books, fine, but we talking about Thursday and current day events. Alfred is the champion of the the fast lest woman in the world race so idk, u tell me what to call her. Lol

    • @UTP504
      @UTP504 12 дней назад

      @@bloodlinekennelclub I know who Aresenal and Real Madrid are⚽️😂. Also, bring up Shelly-Ann and Shericka is irrelevant and a false equivalency, because 1, I NEVER claimed that Sha’carri was faster than them, 2, like you falsely tried to claim Alfred was just faster than Sha’carri when she’s literally NOT.
      But for the record Sha’carri at 23/24 years old is already equally as fast as Shericka, their personal best thus far is 10.65, it took Shericka till 29 years old to run that time and Sha’carri did it at 23 and she’s not even in her physical prime yet and she’s already tied with Shericka with the 5th fastest TIME ever ran by a woman, Shelly best time is 10.60 and it took her until 34 years old to be able to run that time in 2021, Sha’carri has already proven to be in the 10.6 range. Lastly, there’s nothing for me to get over, you must be emotional, I literally said Alfred ran better in the Olympics and had a great performance and deserved the 🥇, try paying attention.

    • @bloodlinekennelclub
      @bloodlinekennelclub 12 дней назад

      @UTP504 omg. Lol.. bro.. u keep coming. I just gave u an example. And yes u said she is faster than just julien who is the Olympic gold medalist. Ok, let me put it in simpler terms and I'm nit trying to insult your intelligence but u shud pay attention to the point. When u talk about times , it doesn't matter when I was replying to most ppl making excuses about a bad start because shacarri certainly is not fastest in the world if we are talking time. So the point is when we talking Thursday September 5th, just like we did for Olympics, all this past stuff didn't matter it's on the day. If I beat u, I'm faster than u until u beat me. That's simple. This omyanala guy has some of the fastest times in the world but climate has alot to play they say so no credit, this video clearly states that baed on the 2 atmospheres at the time of their best times this season that alfred Cleary could have been dubbed faster given the conditions she ran her best in. You talk about age but alfred is young as well, younger actually and as compared to times all about the place, she has been consistently beating her best times this season. So if we gonna talk trajectory do the same like u just told me. Compare shacarri to julien not to sherika when it's convenient to u. Alfred has been more consistently getting better than your girl. Your girl has had some good days but she's all over the place.
