    • @betobsbf

@@randomguy1807 By the smart conduction of the visual narrative; the conscious choice to not talk and just show the best scenes; the intelligent use of the camera and lenses; the zoom-ins at the best moments; the well-balanced capture of sounds and a bunch of other details. In general, the vídeos from this guy easily stand out from the sameness of other channels.

I really appreciate your "belt and suspenders" approach to fixing the wiring. Yes, you can get it to work (temporarily) by twisting the wires together or just using a crimp connector, but it never lasts.
34:32 Good to see that you're wearing your safety slides. PPE is so important!🤣
The fact that you could do this much work with basic tools, common sense, patience and (I'm assuming) a shop manual shows why "Right to Repair" wasn't even a thing 50 years ago.
I appreciate your craftsmanship, both in the repair/refurbishment and the quality of the video and editing.

It is a good idea to use a cloth type of tape. I had a caravan and all the plastic tape adhesive turned into a sticky mess. I took all the plastic tape off and replaced it with cloth based tape which also binds well in a run of several wires. I had to take that off a couple of places as I was doing some upgrades and it had bound well to the back of the tape wound around the wires. Will never come apart. Good using solder and heatshrink. Cheers from Australia

I had a 'stable' of 2/350 K4's, I could assemble around 6 or 7 complete bikes at any one time. Would tune em till they would hole pistons and spit out rings on a regular basis so most spent most of their lives somewhere on the repair and rebuild assembly line. I had a pile of over 100 friction plates all marked for their nominal thickness to 'dial a clutch'. Cam sprocket bolts will bite you in the ass, re-use at your peril! Nothing quite like a spun cam on an overlap engine doing 9 grand!

you have all life time, center stand need PB or CR40 and heat both sometime, and then try move. first heat then spray CR-40 etc, suck in tube and help lot try open. or easy elektrolyse, add bowl water and salt and soda, then parts add wire, then add water and battery minus, and old bolt to wire and battery positive, and wait some hour. rust go to bolt and clean all part good.

I was cringing when I saw you throwing the fasteners on the ground in the salvage yard. Believe it or not the factory original hardware is some of the hardest things to find when you restore old Japanese motorcycles like I do. Modern metric nuts and bolts just aren't the same as the old J.I.S. fasteners. Save them or put them back on the parts you took them off. Even if they're rusty you can bring them back with evaporust.
