Only thing I wish u added which would've changed your argument dramatically is that the Naruto that reacted to and was constantly clapping the Raikage was a clone with 1/13th of Naruto's power and even smaller since he actually used 3 clones as a clone to clap him. Even if u say that clone couldn't beat him outright, that's 1/13th of Naruto meaning if that clone could react to the Raikage and he was still stated to b light speed, he could definitely react to the 4th without question at full power with sage mode. Keep in mind yes Naruto had help against Kurama, but 1 Rasenshuriken put Kyuubi down compared to EVERYTHING else Naruto tried that barely dented him

Two things I thought of immediately, Jugo's clan uses nature energy, he could in theory help Naruto quickly respawn his Sage Mode much like how he is able to help physically repair Sasuke. Also, Karin would be able to help Naruto regain lost chakra at least a couple of times through a shadow clone, since Naruto can gain whatever boost his clones gain. So there are some potential extra tools and strategies that he has at his disposal. Suigetsu...he wouldn't be much help if he's knocked out.

Naruto in sage mode could probably box with the raikage up close and just beat him in hand to hand. The man was chucking rhinos and pains chakra rods shattered in his palm. A rasengan would also do signifiant damage. The raikage does seem to be a hard one to scale. But if he is a rival to Tsunade, who Sage Naruto clearly surpassed, I can't see how he doesn't clear that one mid diff.

The thing is, Naruto was never damaged in Sage mode. If his clone can do that much damage to the third. The original with blow the 4th Raikage arm and guts off with the Sage mode basic Rasengan. Just look at what it did to Tendo Pain, off guard Juubito, the final valley etc.
Sage mode naruto would have lost in 10 seconds vs pain if tendo had his powers from the beginning. Tendo pulls naruto, pins him down (as he actually did) and has the female one teleporting them to the akatsuki hideout where kisame, tobi and zetsu are chillin. This mode is so overrated. It took km1 naruto to outspeed the raikage. Sage mode naruto would die fighting him in that stage of the story.
Honestly, I can see the 4th Raikage side stepping the Rasenshuriken like he did for the Amaterasu. That potentially being a fatal error on his part, as it could then expand and catch him like it did for the paths of pain.
I thought the same thing, I think he was downplaying sage mode naruto in the raikage portion of the video. Sage mode naruto is a brawler and he would be able to throw hands with the raikage. He had already shown reaction time on par with the third raikage, Whos faster than the 4th. He should be able to defeat the 4th mid diff
Rasen shuriken is a hard counter to 4th raikage. 3rd was a better defensive raikage, and he got taken out of the cloak from it and had edo regen. If he gets hit by it, he’s getting folded.
Amaterasu is absolutely faster than nearly any attack. The manga does a shitty job of portraying it, but Amaterasu does not travel, it spawns at the location being looked at. This is proved in the Kaguya fight, as Amaterasu appeared with the ice Sasuke and Naruto were trapped in with no ice having been removed between Sasuke's eye and the Amaterasu flames. The only way the Raikage "dodged" it, was by moving out of the way in the second that Sasuke built up chakra to spawn it, changing where it was set to appear.
But Sasuke 3 tomoe dodged itachis, unless you think Amaterasu can be sped up or slowed down. That doesn’t make sense to me as you just described it as a spawn jutsu, which I agree with. I don’t think the speed feats of Amaterasu are that impressive. I get sasuke is fast, but 3 tomoe sasuke is way lower on the speed tiers then a lot of end of war level/Kage characters.

A near completely blind Itachi missed Sasuke, because we see that his vision is so bad that Sasuke is a literal blur not 10 feet in front of him, and so had to drag Amaterasu behind him until he hit. Not to mention that Itachi didn't want to hit any part of Sasuke but his CM wing.
@@Necromancer4267Amaterasu spawns where the users eyesight is focused like the focus width of a lens. But here comes the thing: eyes are terrible at locking objects "precisely" meaning the actual focus wont be 100% the correct distance usually being a bit closer or further than the actual target. Same with amaterasu. If your focus is too short it will spawn midair inbetween you and your target BUT it does travel afterwards in a straight line away from the user. At least in the anime there are multiple instances of this happening.

Nice video but I think the same way Sasuke uses Karin and Jugo as chakra batteries, Naruto can as well and constantly replenish his sage mode just by taking in more of Jugos nature energy making his limit of 2 rasenshuriken pointless if he can just get more chakra to summon more clones or more nature energy itself

@slyrock This happens all the time with people in this community, they for whatever reason will fo whatever mental gymnastics necessary to power scale sasuke above Naruto. I know they are capable of rational thought, and can use reasoning, because they do it when talking about other characters, but when it comes to sasuke they just completely lose the ability. A good example of what I’m talking about is they correctly realized that gaara isn’t faster than the raikage, and recognized his blitzing him with sand was just a narrative thing, and shouldn’t be used to say gaara is blitzing the raikage. The conversation Naruto had with sasuke was not about them fighting right then, and there, It was about what would happen if sasuke went, and put in his brothers eyes, rested, and trained, and then attacked the leaf village. Naruto was telling him I’ll be training too, and when that day comes I’ll be there to stop you.

Base killer B knocked him out of his V1 lightning cloak. Perfect Jinchuriki don’t magically have higher AP and durability than their Bijuu, just better combat ability. Gyuki isn’t a mindless animal, none of the Bijuu except the Juubi are. 34:13 Rasenshuriken breeches the third cloaks and Naruto said that with the third gone Gaara has the best defense now. So Rasenshuriken should breach it.

1 thing i've not heard ANYONE talk about is the fact Naruto and Sasuke's entire thing is having a complete awareness of each other as Naruto stated when he confronted him. Also stated at the valley of the end fight. Naruto was basing his power what he gathered after clashing with him and I think that is pretty clear. So yeah, sage mode Naruto=MS Sasuke both at full power narratively but I also have a very hard time seeing Sasuke under any circumstance beating Pain. I mean Naruto won due to Minato and getting a second crack at him. Sasuke wouldn't have such a luxury. So in terms of a bloodlusted death match I think Naruto wins but it's definitely implied their MS and Sage forms are equal. Edit: TG keep doing your thing bro. @@ryan8894 I agree. However, summons are seen as part of one’s strength in the series so I don’t count them like I do Minato being in his mind. Sasuke used a summon vs Deidera and while he was stronger he still used it. All summons are are a high level tool for a high level Shinobi like Enma for Sarutobi. It’s a testament to their strength that they can use them and gain acceptance by the summons. But yeah, if Naruto showed up in safe mode with no clones and couldn’t summon anyone he gets folded. Sasuke even more so because 8 tails Naruto, although he needed to think Hinata was dead and couldn’t control it could still potentially come out and he was undoubtedly stronger than Pain at that time. Sasuke has no form and nothing to take Pain out.
Thanks for the video; I'm loving your content. I had one thing to add though for the fights (Danzo's in particular). I didn't hear mention of Naruto's sensory capabilities in sage mode. Naruto could sense all the chakra signatures in the Leaf well enough to know Kakashi was dead. There is no way that Danzo is going to surprise Naruto from behind.
I could have swore I mentioned that or it might have been in another vid, I generally agree he should be able to react better than Sasuke, although still not super crazy since even Karin can’t anticipate where Danzo will appear
I think people over emphasize that 2 shadow clone limit thing there’s nothing stopping him after those are gone, and from making 50 bum, rushing the enemy, and had 2 run and hide around the corner I don’t see that failing too often

I think these matchups also depend on Naruto’s attitude as well if reread Naruto vs pain Naruto is going for the kill for the majority of the fight against pain and only tries to talk no jutsu after talking to minato and that only happens when talking to nagato directly and hearing konan and nagatos story something else to consider is that raikage starts in v1 because he underestimates sasuke even if wants to kill him so I wonder if the raikage shows up underestimating naruto like he did sasuke and Naruto shows up with the same killing intent that he has vs pain that there’s a good argument for Naruto hitting v1 raikage with a rasenshuriken because people also forget that Naruto can expand the size of the jutsu after being caught
If you want take out the fun out of the fights, naruto could just summon ma and pa and put the entire building in genjutsu before revealing his presence(out of character i know, but the option is still there)
@@amantejohnson6916 It wouldn't be much of a problem for sage mode users anyway. They would notice the distortion in their chakra and snap themselves out of it. The only thing that would truly catch them are hax users like Itachi or Shisui who were primarily genjutsu users meaning ANYONE who got caught by them was F'ed, INCLUDING perfect jin's.
Just gonna drop this tidbit, it took kcm to BLITZ the raikage. Meaning that kcm didn't just match the raikage, but surpassed him utterly. By 72x as the infamous calcs come up with. This means that if sage mode is half, to a quarter to even one 10th as fast as kcm, he would still out speed the raikage.
@@AtelierGod Its not a visual thing so much as it is that sage mode gives you a sort of 6th sense but yeah. I think he had also used up too much of his 9 tails chakra and had to rely on sage mode as a backup. Kcm allows him to sense negative emotions, which is also kind of like a form of procognition, but id bet on shame mode having better sensory abilities

This is the TG Quality I like. Another really fun video. I wasn't on board with the video at first because Sage Naruto is a league above Kage Summit Sasuke but there was a lot of fun stuff to discuss anyway. There is some important narrative that was missed in this video. Naruto at this point in the series is very much struggling with his battle against the concept of hatred itself. He has realized that he can't win through being strong or brute force and is trying to come to terms with it. His statement about him confronting Sasuke and them both dying is because he believes that he can't save Sasuke without first conquering hatred itself because he understands that Sasuke can't be brought back through force and must be defeated with reason. Zetsu and Obito both say that Naruto is blatantly superior to Sasuke before they send him on the suicide mission to the Kage Summit. Most people would say that Sage Naruto isn't quite on the level of Pain yet, but most people would also say Pain could have won the Kage Summit outright. Sasuke literally ruined his life to do the Kage Summit, only to be bailed out by Itachi's eyes afterward. There is a point to be made about how Sage Naruto sacrifices nothing to get a much better showing. Sage Naruto straight up no diffs Mei, Danzo, and Kakashi. There isn't anything to say beyond what you guys covered in the video. I'll talk about A4, Gaara and Onoki separately because I think there's a few things you guys overlooked or could have touched on. VS A4: This is an interesting one because of how we see Naruto interact with A4. Naruto met with him with the intent to reason with him, which obviously doesn't work. Naruto was not even remotely afraid to fight with him, he simply didn't want to. We see this when he strolls up with KCM and leaves A4 in the dust. There's the apples to oranges discussion about Sage Mode vs KCM again, but we see it in action against A3 and there's no real reason that this interaction would be any different. I don't think Naruto would use Rasenshuriken on A4 because he's not there to just put the Kage down, but Rasenshuriken pretty much kills anyone it hits that isn't an infinitely regenerating zombie. If there is a straight up brawl between A4 and Sage Naruto, I give it to Sage Naruto with some minor difficulty. VS Gaara: This one is pretty hard to think about and it does come down to your interpretation of Rasenshuriken vs Sand. Just to correct some thing that was said in the video, as well as just a weird conclusion drawn: A4 is considered the fastest man alive and there are only statements about people dodging his attacks, not blocking his attacks. Concluding that Gaara's sand isn't able to compare to A4 is not logical for many reasons, but the most obvious reason being that sand isn't a person. That being said, Gaara's sand is comparable in speed even if you think A4 is faster, which I agree with. I'll talk about this a little more in the Onoki section as well, but the conditions of the Kage Summit are a bit disadvantageous for Gaara and Onoki due to their flight. Gaara's sand durability feat of surviving the Liger Bomb that was meant to obliterate Sasuke and tanking the Enton is an absolutely insane durability feat. I think that if Gaara has the time to convert the building into a desert, I don't know how Naruto gets out of Gaara's net, but I think Naruto just escapes like Sasuke did as well. VS Onoki: This is my favorite one to talk about. Onoki is nonsense powerful at the point in the story he is introduced. He's closer to a DBZ character than he is a Naruto character. The man has limitless unrestricted flight and can blow up buildings with lasers. Characters like Deidara and Gaara only fly by proxy and can be hypothetically knocked out of the sky, but Onoki can just fly. The fact that he was inside a building full of people that he didn't want to murder removes almost his entire powerset. Onoki is more or less reduced to a pretty fast guy with some close range nukes. The reason this is so interesting for me is because Hiruzen is stated to have been stronger than the four other Kage together, which would include Onoki. We already know that Jiraiya surpassed Hiruzen and that Naruto is at least comparable to Jiraiya at this point. I have trouble imagining how these characters could ever beat Onoki outside. I think the Zetsu rescue plays out exactly as described in the video itself, Onoki is just really interesting on the implication side of the power scaling and it's fun to talk about him.
@ThunderGodTG Ok, you have a minor misunderstanding regarding how sage mode works. So in your phase one you basically said that Naruto would be unable to respond to the genjutsu Cee applies to Suigetsu and Jugo. However people often tend to forget the perception of chakra that sage mode provides an individual with. In the fight with pain he asked Tsunade about Kakashi's chakra signature because he couldn't sense it, bare in mind this is half way across a village and in the fight with the third raikage he used sage mode to finish the fight as it offered him heightened perception to the chakra cloak the third dawned. So imo there is more than enough chance naruto breaks his party free from the genjutsu in this hypothetical :)
This is nothing to due with Genjutsu, Genjutsu releasing is more so based in chakra control, this is why Tsunade and Sakura are exceptional at breaking Genjutsu they have extreme mastery due to the 100 Healings Seal, Naruto has general knowledge on how to Kai release people from Genjutsu. SM sensory is unrelated to Genjutsu

If basic ninjas can sense this what makes you think a sage mode user wouldn't be able to notice that difference as was shown in the fight with itachi versus naruto and his group? Also as a sage mode user, while they will not be immune to stronger genjutsu's (like itachi and shisui), weaker genjutsu's will be relatively ineffective against them since they can tell the change in their chakra nature. They will know quite quickly if they are under the effects of a genjutsu but if it's something like Tsukuyomi then you're basically F'ed because even if you take yourself out of it immediately you likely still spent hours in it. Adding on to this Sasuke is a weak genjutsu user. At best it would be a moments distraction. If we included ma and pa then it's not even in question if his genjutsu would work.
the sage mode naruto downplay is wild raikage is in no way stronger he should have the reaction speed to be able to react and i dont think anyone would claim the raikage has more raw power than sage mode naruto

Gaaras sand is known to keep up with top tier speed, he effortlessly blocked Amaterasu the fastest jutsu in the show , something Ay had to go V2 in order to dodge and use body flicker. Base guy and kakashi were keeping up with KCM naruto and so was obito , so clearly speed isn’t as consistent as naruto speed wankers and ‘blitzers’ like to pretend it is
You should do a vid on how sage mode naruto or 5 kage summit would fair in hiruzens place against orochimaru and his edo tensei I’ve always thought those 2 were relative to hiruzen because they are both just a little bit above sanin level but not far above it like pain, itachi, and minato
I don't know about the normal Rasengan variations, but A is probably out of the fight *if* Naruto hits him with a Rasenshuriken. I think it's clearly implied that the Third Raikage's defense is better than that of his son, as he is the paradox of the impenetrable defense and unstoppable attack, and he is clearly hurt after being hit with the Rasenshuriken. If he wasn't an Edo Tensei, I think it's fair to assume he would be able to keep fighting, but he would be weakened since the Rasenshuriken destroys the chakra network. If we consider that A's defense is inferior to some degree, then he would either be easy to defeat or be incapacitated like Kakuzu was (also consider that the Rasenshuriken from SM has much higher AP than without, seeing how Kakuzu was hit point-blank, stood in the middle of the explosion and could even talk afterwards, being just paralyzed, while Ningendo was hit by just the "blades" of the Rasenshuriken and was desintegrated)
I think this fight essentially boils down to "Can Naruto defeat/survive the Raikage?" Because when it comes to all the other Kage, Naruto just washes them at this point. The Tsuchikage could probably kill Naruto if he could touch him, but Naruto's froggie sense is going to serve him far better in a fight like this than Sasuke's sharingan did, especially if Naruto can even make a handful of clones. Plus, there's nothing saying Naruto can't take any chance he finds to regather nature energy beyond just using his clones. Any downtime he finds is going to be time that he can recharge his reserves. This means if at any point he is able to get past the kage and track down Danzo, Danzo is going to be facing what is essentially a perfectly fresh Naruto, and a fresh Naruto is going to dive in Danzo's ass.

Insane Gaara Downplay 💀 we just ignore that Sasuke only says he surprassed Gaara's defense when he used the skeletal Susanoo impliying that the defense of Gaara is better than the Ribcage+Amateratsu ? Gaara blocking the Amateratsu is literally the same feat that V2 Ay did and he blocked Ay guillotine then why they aren't relative ? Gaara stomped Rasa in that fight literally It took 1 chapter to seal him and Rasa said that never expected to Gaara grow so strong.
V2 Aye didn’t block it it burned right through his cloak, the defense part is questionable because Gaara’s sand is a natural counter to Fire style especially since she can just drop pieces of the flame in a similar capacity to the Juubi. The Madara fight makes it VERY explicit Gaara is not V2 Raikage speed, nor is Rasa, the Rasa fight is a bit weird since the Edo Tensei autocorrect came into play but, I think they’re ~ based on they’re scuffle if anything Gaara shows better intelligence. Just my 2 scents as far as the Susanoo rib cage argument I believe he’s referring to the Susanoo in general and not just the full version especially since v2 Raikage didn’t even break the rib cage again just my 2 cents
@@ThunderGodTGthe fight with madara implies that gaara is on v2 level because he was able to react to madaras attacks at a same level as raikage. Raikage actually had to be amped by onoki to get any success against madara. It took body flicker+ v2 cloak to dodge Amaterasu. Gaara simply blocked Amaterasu with little effort, meaning raikage at his fastest is as fast as gaaras sand. Gaara blocking a point blank guillotine drop from a distance also backs up this claim.
I think Naruto would destroy Danzo pretty easily due his sensory abilities. Danzo's Izanagi relevant only against opponent who he can catch off guard appearing somewhere near in his blindspot, but Naruto can passively sense entire Konoha village. He actually don't even need Karin. But if Sage mode rans out he could get tagged with windstyle just like Sasuke did

To be fair, Danzo didn't die to shuriken or kunai. Izanagi doesn't only activate if you die, it erases any damage at all. And a misconception I see a lot is that Izanagi only has as many resurrections as you have eyes. This is not true. Izanagi is infinite resurrections for as long as the timer lasts. Obito probably got resurrected by Izanagi 1000 times in the 10 minutes he was inside Konan's attack. Danzo was resurrected more than 10 times, 1 for each eye.
That was in the anime version of the fight, the Danzo was able to resurrect for 10 minutes total with a number of eyes, Obito could Izanagi after 10 minutes with 1 eye displaying their different mastery of the technique
@@ThunderGodTG We don't know how Obito's worked, all we know is that his Izanagi time limit for 1 eyes was equal to Danzo's limit with 10 eyes. As Izanagi doesn't end after one resurrection, I think it's most likely that Obito kept respawning, taking damage, and respawning again for the entirety of the jutsu, just as Danzo would respawn any number of times that he might be hit in 1 minute before an eye would close.

Not really. Sasuke's MS and susanoo was the reason why he survived as well. Naruto doesn't have any defense to Mei's lava style except substitution or speed blitzing and Sage mode basically giving him precognition. He gets melted into a puddle if Mei gets a hit off with Lava Style.
I like to believe that Naruto, even by that time, was not purely decided by pure power-scaling. I don't believe that sage Naruto is so clearly stronger than the Raikage in physical abilities and the rasenshuriken wouldn't necessarily be so easy to land

I think that the rikage still gets hurt from rasangan even without the benefit of a doubt. Sasuke was able to go through the cloak and touch him. Didn’t do damage but touched him with shidori, a lighting jutsu. Rasengan is a neutral element and is stronger then shidori. Plus it’s safe amped. No way he’s just tanking it with no damage whatsoever.
Looking at it, if Naruto had Sage mode he would have to had been going through the main series until after the pain fight, with that in mind when it’s Gaara’s turn to fight Naruto he’d more likely join Naruto and it’d be Team Naruto/Gaara vs Team Raikage/Misukage/Tsuchikage, it’d likely be an even match up against the kage with their attendants and Naruto and Gaara and their teammates
I see some people struggling with the idea that this is not an alternate narrative timeline, it's just purely a hypothetical series of matchups completely outside the context of the story. So Gaara wouldn't join Naruto, it wouldn't even make narrative sense for Naruto to be there in place of Sasuke to begin with. So we don't need to account for what Gaara would think of literally fighting Naruto.

Shisui’s genjutsu was known as the perfect genjutsu because it’s inescapable and whatever happens in that genjutsu happens for real and gives the user full control. For anyone else but Naruto, this would’ve been game over. But Itachi implanted a crow with Shisui’s other eye to counter the effects of Shisui’s genjutsu. So Naruto would still be fine against that attack.

I have a question. How powerful would Madara be if Limbo have no weakness? So no one can damage or see the Limbo clones, the Limbo clones can use all of Madara's abilities like wood clones (which are also invisible) and perfect susanoo, and can stay in the battlefield for an uncertain amount of time? Can he maybe defeat Kaguya and other Otsutsukis (and them cyborgs)?
If we say that they can truly do _everything_ that he can do, then they just make more Limbo Clones and eventually you have like over 1 Million of them. So I guess if you really give them no weaknesses at all then he can probably beat the Otsutsuki.

Rasenshuriken takes time to charge up. You're assuming naruto is charging up a jutsu with no sound. And if the pain paths can dodge it, so can C and the other Jonins. You're overrating the jutsu.
Sasuke made raikage bleed with a lightning based Justu Chidori. If Sage mode naruto hits raikage with wind style (which beats lightning ) rasenshuriken it should one shot. I don’t see any of the Kages beating sage mode naruto 1 v 1. I also believe naruto beats kuruma 1 v 1 kuruma started winning when naruto starting trying to pull his chakra which wouldn’t happen in the real world where everything naruto can do in that battle with kuruma he can do in any battle. You can't use Danzo dying to kunai as anti-feat considering Izanagi was activated at the time, so there was 0 incentive for Danzo to dodge. We see Danzo was quite relative to Sasuke when he put the curse mark on him as well as when they mutually stabbed each other. Izanagi gives Danzo at least 10 minutes of invincibility (if he uses it constantly) which is far longer than Naruto's SM (especially considering he'll be spamming Rasenshuriken too).
The point I was making was that Naruto’s physical blows should be enough to actually kill Danzo not that the Kunai thrown killed him, to the point he may not even need to use rasenshuriken, in the same sense once Sasuke saw Danzo revived he didn’t bother with more of his higher chakra use techniques like Amaterasu as there would be no point

Agree to disagree I personally think it’s sufficient based on him being able to take down Paths of Pain like the Asura path in one blow who could survive Choji + Multiple Raikiri. That’s just me I think his durability is way more of a factor here and Danzo himself has Zero good durability feats generally speaking. If you wanna say he uses Rasen that’s fair but, again I don’t think it makes a difference since he can always have clones charging while he fights as well as having clones to compensate for Danzo’s surprise attacks.

Why even compare bleach to naruto? Bleach characters have FAR more hax than naruto characters do and their defense is also FAR higher as well. If a naruto character gets hit dead on they will probably die to just about any attack. Bleach characters don't give a rats ass, if you aren't even as strong as they are the attack won't even cut them. In terms of speed feats it's obviously bleach since all of their attacks are light speed+. They were already light speed when aizen decided to take over hueco mundo btw. I don't know why people even do naruto vs. bleach battles it's not even a contest there IS no battle.

You could see movement lines on his leg in the scan were he blocked it Also this is slightly headcanony but its likely how fast you fall in Naruto scales to your normal speed. For 1 karin and other characters there didn't speed blitz the Raikage and pull sasuke out of the way while the Raikage is falling. You have to remember ay makes himself exponentally slower if you think he's just falling with the speed of gravity. Genin that can move at the speed of sound could easily be able to intercept the Raikage there. And the Raikage used the force of falling over him just kicking normally. 32:10 he could just be talking about travel and combat speed not ninjutsu speed. Plus the Raikage doesn't know about everyone. Also no data book say ay or minato are the fastest 32:40 nah. We don't know how garra's dad died. He could hwang been off guard. And sage naruto at this point doesn't have a feat that implies he's relative to garra's sand.

I think the "We'd both die" statement is uncontextualized from Naruto. I've always infered it to be more in terms of, he won't kill Sauske as we've seen later at the end of Shippuden, and that he's not strong enough to just completely over power him and convince him to come back to the leaf. So he would have no choice to but to kill him and then himself for killing him like Hashirama was going to do to convince Madara to start the Leaf Village. Naruto had heard the things sauske did before they met at the bridge after Danzo died and knows his potential power and is witnessing it and felt it with sage mode. He knows it wasn't the time to have an all battle with sauske and that he'd never accept coming back to the village then. There's no way he actually believes that right then vs blind worn out sauske that he'd lose and they would both die. He didn't even roll up in Sage Mode. I think the use of this statement to hype up sauske is overused and overplayed
My question is, are clones the exact same strength as the original? In terms of stamina, speed, and strength. Because, at minimum, Naruto created six to seven clones at the start of the War Arc (likely more), 4-5 clones joined up with each of the Shinobi Divisions (I think maybe two divisions joined up at this point), one clone was with the medical unit, and one clone was with Mei's unit protecting the Feudal Lords. So this means that the Clone who was fighting against both Mu and the Third Raikage only had, at most, either 1/7th or 1/8 of Naruto's chakra. Or even less. Even though the resurrected Shinobi weren't at full strength, they were still fighting against a 1/7th or 1/8th clone of Naruto, who was able to both dodge and hit them. I think that makes Naruto even more impressive as a clone with weakened chakra took out two former Kage, while the real Naruto was off with Bee.

3rd Raikage is a straight up better version of his son in terms of physicals. He is a respectable gap above Sage Naruto. And Sage Naruto is on the same tier and even surpassed base Minato in overall combat prowess.
Something I find interesting about Pain vs. Sage Mode Naruto, Mount Myoboku Toads, and Hidden Leaf is that Konan mentions Pain is deteriorating after Chaotic Shinra Tensei. So, he's getting weaker as the fight goes on. I also find it interesting that Pa, one of the best Toad Sages from Mount Myoboku, who was relative to Sage Mode Naruto's Taijutsu gets one shot by Pain. Also, I never see it being mentioned that Naruto got poisoned when he rescued Sakura, with a poison she thought would kill Sasuke. Given that one of Sakura's teachers was Tsunade, who made a poison that made it difficult for Jiraiya to weave his chakra, I'd say Naruto got a significant nerf during that clash.

The fact that "Sage Mode Naruto" decimated the Kyuubi with 100 Sage Mode Shadow Clones, and yet a month earlier thought he needed to keep 2 in reserve to fight Pain, who could barely contend with the Kyuubi Avatar with only 8 Tails of Chakra shows me that Mindscapes are not indicative of real power. The Minato manga all but solidifies this belief. The previous nail in the coffin being that Naruto whips out a Six-Paths Fuinjutsu out of absolutely nowhere. You cannot tell me Naruto ever learned Fuinjutsu on a level beyond that of Kushina and Minato. Clearly this is a visualization of chakra, and it cannot be a real feat.

Only thing I wish u added which would've changed your argument dramatically is that the Naruto that reacted to and was constantly clapping the Raikage was a clone with 1/13th of Naruto's power and even smaller since he actually used 3 clones as a clone to clap him. Even if u say that clone couldn't beat him outright, that's 1/13th of Naruto meaning if that clone could react to the Raikage and he was still stated to b light speed, he could definitely react to the 4th without question at full power with sage mode. Keep in mind yes Naruto had help against Kurama, but 1 Rasenshuriken put Kyuubi down compared to EVERYTHING else Naruto tried that barely dented him

Two things I thought of immediately, Jugo's clan uses nature energy, he could in theory help Naruto quickly respawn his Sage Mode much like how he is able to help physically repair Sasuke. Also, Karin would be able to help Naruto regain lost chakra at least a couple of times through a shadow clone, since Naruto can gain whatever boost his clones gain. So there are some potential extra tools and strategies that he has at his disposal. Suigetsu...he wouldn't be much help if he's knocked out.

Naruto was faster than the 3rd raikage in sage mode, who was stronger than the 4th raikage. Naruto slaughters all the kage in these matches tbh.
The thing is, Naruto was never damaged in Sage mode. If his clone can do that much damage to the third. The original with blow the 4th Raikage arm and guts off with the Sage mode basic Rasengan. Just look at what it did to Tendo Pain, off guard Juubito, the final valley etc.

It took km1 naruto to outspeed the raikage. Sage mode naruto would die fighting him in that stage of the story.
Honestly, I can see the 4th Raikage side stepping the Rasenshuriken like he did for the Amaterasu. That potentially being a fatal error on his part, as it could then expand and catch him like it did for the paths of pain.

Amaterasu is absolutely faster than nearly any attack. The manga does a shitty job of portraying it, but Amaterasu does not travel, it spawns at the location being looked at. This is proved in the Kaguya fight, as Amaterasu appeared with the ice Sasuke and Naruto were trapped in with no ice having been removed between Sasuke's eye and the Amaterasu flames. The only way the Raikage "dodged" it, was by moving out of the way in the second that Sasuke built up chakra to spawn it, changing where it was set to appear.
But Sasuke 3 tomoe dodged itachis, unless you think Amaterasu can be sped up or slowed down. That doesn’t make sense to me as you just described it as a spawn jutsu, which I agree with. I don’t think the speed feats of Amaterasu are that impressive. I get sasuke is fast, but 3 tomoe sasuke is way lower on the speed tiers then a lot of end of war level/Kage characters.

A near completely blind Itachi missed Sasuke, because we see that his vision is so bad that Sasuke is a literal blur not 10 feet in front of him, and so had to drag Amaterasu behind him until he hit. @@Necromancer4267Amaterasu spawns where the users eyesight is focused like the focus width of a lens. But here comes the thing: eyes are terrible at locking objects "precisely" meaning the actual focus wont be 100% the correct distance usually being a bit closer or further than the actual target. Same with amaterasu. If your focus is too short it will spawn midair inbetween you and your target BUT it does travel afterwards in a straight line away from the user. At least in the anime there are multiple instances of this happening.

I know they are capable of rational thought, and can use reasoning, because they do it when talking about other characters, but when it comes to sasuke they just completely lose the ability. A good example of what I’m talking about is they correctly realized that gaara isn’t faster than the raikage, and recognized his blitzing him with sand was just a narrative thing, and shouldn’t be used to say gaara is blitzing the raikage.
The conversation Naruto had with sasuke was not about them fighting right then, and there, It was about what would happen if sasuke went, and put in his brothers eyes, rested, and trained, and then attacked the leaf village. Naruto was telling him I’ll be training too, and when that day comes I’ll be there to stop you.

When Naruto says they’ll both die it’s because Naruto doesn’t want to actually kill Sasuke. 26:52 The rasengan and Rasenshuriken is a much different type of damage than chidori and Amaterasu. Chidori only pierces and Amaterasu burns. The rasengan damages your internal organs and the Rasenshuriken attacks your cells and Tsunade compared it to poison (and that was only 50%). Considering the hype he was given by Dodai and Mabui the third is even more durable than the fourth. Killer B is also NOT weaker than the Raikage. Bejeezus why do people say this. Base killer B knocked him out of his V1 lightning cloak. Perfect Jinchuriki don’t magically have higher AP and durability than their Bijuu, just better combat ability. Gyuki isn’t a mindless animal, none of the Bijuu except the Juubi are.

1 thing i've not heard ANYONE talk about is the fact Naruto and Sasuke's entire thing is having a complete awareness of each other as Naruto stated when he confronted him. Also stated at the valley of the end fight. Naruto was basing his power what he gathered after clashing with him and I think that is pretty clear. So yeah, sage mode Naruto=MS Sasuke both at full power narratively but I also have a very hard time seeing Sasuke under any circumstance beating Pain. I mean Naruto won due to Minato and getting a second crack at him. Sasuke wouldn't have such a luxury. So in terms of a bloodlusted death match I think Naruto wins but it's definitely implied their MS and Sage forms are equal.

Sasuke used a summon vs Deidera and while he was stronger he still used it. All summons are are a high level tool for a high level Shinobi like Enma for Sarutobi. It’s a testament to their strength that they can use them and gain acceptance by the summons.
But yeah, if Naruto showed up in safe mode with no clones and couldn’t summon anyone he gets folded. Sasuke even more so because 8 tails Naruto, although he needed to think Hinata was dead and couldn’t control it could still potentially come out and he was undoubtedly stronger than Pain at that time. Sasuke has no form and nothing to take Pain out.

Thanks for the video; I'm loving your content. I had one thing to add though for the fights (Danzo's in particular). I didn't hear mention of Naruto's sensory capabilities in sage mode. Naruto could sense all the chakra signatures in the Leaf well enough to know Kakashi was dead. There is no way that Danzo is going to surprise Naruto from behind.
I could have swore I mentioned that or it might have been in another vid, I generally agree he should be able to react better than Sasuke, although still not super crazy since even Karin can’t anticipate where Danzo will appear

It wouldn't be much of a problem for sage mode users anyway. They would notice the distortion in their chakra and snap themselves out of it. The only thing that would truly catch them are hax users like Itachi or Shisui who were primarily genjutsu users meaning ANYONE who got caught by them was F'ed, INCLUDING perfect jin's.
Just gonna drop this tidbit, it took kcm to BLITZ the raikage. Meaning that kcm didn't just match the raikage, but surpassed him utterly. By 72x as the infamous calcs come up with. This means that if sage mode is half, to a quarter to even one 10th as fast as kcm, he would still out speed the raikage.

I think he had also used up too much of his 9 tails chakra and had to rely on sage mode as a backup. Kcm allows him to sense negative emotions, which is also kind of like a form of procognition, but id bet on shame mode having better sensory abilities

This is the TG Quality I like. Another really fun video. I wasn't on board with the video at first because Sage Naruto is a league above Kage Summit Sasuke but there was a lot of fun stuff to discuss anyway.
There is some important narrative that was missed in this video. Naruto at this point in the series is very much struggling with his battle against the concept of hatred itself. He has realized that he can't win through being strong or brute force and is trying to come to terms with it. His statement about him confronting Sasuke and them both dying is because he believes that he can't save Sasuke without first conquering hatred itself because he understands that Sasuke can't be brought back through force and must be defeated with reason. Zetsu and Obito both say that Naruto is blatantly superior to Sasuke before they send him on the suicide mission to the Kage Summit. Most people would say that Sage Naruto isn't quite on the level of Pain yet, but most people would also say Pain could have won the Kage Summit outright. Sasuke literally ruined his life to do the Kage Summit, only to be bailed out by Itachi's eyes afterward. There is a point to be made about how Sage Naruto sacrifices nothing to get a much better showing. Sage Naruto straight up no diffs Mei, Danzo, and Kakashi. There isn't anything to say beyond what you guys covered in the video. I'll talk about A4, Gaara and Onoki separately because I think there's a few things you guys overlooked or could have touched on.
VS A4: This is an interesting one because of how we see Naruto interact with A4. Naruto met with him with the intent to reason with him, which obviously doesn't work. Naruto was not even remotely afraid to fight with him, he simply didn't want to. We see this when he strolls up with KCM and leaves A4 in the dust. There's the apples to oranges discussion about Sage Mode vs KCM again, but we see it in action against A3 and there's no real reason that this interaction would be any different. I don't think Naruto would use Rasenshuriken on A4 because he's not there to just put the Kage down, but Rasenshuriken pretty much kills anyone it hits that isn't an infinitely regenerating zombie. If there is a straight up brawl between A4 and Sage Naruto, I give it to Sage Naruto with some minor difficulty.
VS Gaara: This one is pretty hard to think about and it does come down to your interpretation of Rasenshuriken vs Sand. Just to correct some thing that was said in the video, as well as just a weird conclusion drawn: A4 is considered the fastest man alive and there are only statements about people dodging his attacks, not blocking his attacks. Concluding that Gaara's sand isn't able to compare to A4 is not logical for many reasons, but the most obvious reason being that sand isn't a person. That being said, Gaara's sand is comparable in speed even if you think A4 is faster, which I agree with. I'll talk about this a little more in the Onoki section as well, but the conditions of the Kage Summit are a bit disadvantageous for Gaara and Onoki due to their flight. Gaara's sand durability feat of surviving the Liger Bomb that was meant to obliterate Sasuke and tanking the Enton is an absolutely insane durability feat. I think that if Gaara has the time to convert the building into a desert, I don't know how Naruto gets out of Gaara's net, but I think Naruto just escapes like Sasuke did as well.
VS Onoki: This is my favorite one to talk about. Onoki is nonsense powerful at the point in the story he is introduced. He's closer to a DBZ character than he is a Naruto character. The man has limitless unrestricted flight and can blow up buildings with lasers. Characters like Deidara and Gaara only fly by proxy and can be hypothetically knocked out of the sky, but Onoki can just fly. The fact that he was inside a building full of people that he didn't want to murder removes almost his entire powerset. Onoki is more or less reduced to a pretty fast guy with some close range nukes. The reason this is so interesting for me is because Hiruzen is stated to have been stronger than the four other Kage together, which would include Onoki. We already know that Jiraiya surpassed Hiruzen and that Naruto is at least comparable to Jiraiya at this point. I have trouble imagining how these characters could ever beat Onoki outside. I think the Zetsu rescue plays out exactly as described in the video itself, Onoki is just really interesting on the implication side of the power scaling and it's fun to talk about him.

@ThunderGodTG Ok, you have a minor misunderstanding regarding how sage mode works. So in your phase one you basically said that Naruto would be unable to respond to the genjutsu Cee applies to Suigetsu and Jugo. However people often tend to forget the perception of chakra that sage mode provides an individual with. In the fight with pain he asked Tsunade about Kakashi's chakra signature because he couldn't sense it, bare in mind this is half way across a village and in the fight with the third raikage he used sage mode to finish the fight as it offered him heightened perception to the chakra cloak the third dawned. So imo there is more than enough chance naruto breaks his party free from the genjutsu in this hypothetical :)
This is nothing to due with Genjutsu, Genjutsu releasing is more so based in chakra control, this is why Tsunade and Sakura are exceptional at breaking Genjutsu they have extreme mastery due to the 100 Healings Seal, Naruto has general knowledge on how to Kai release people from Genjutsu. SM sensory is unrelated to Genjutsu

Someone under genjustsu has their chakra altered. If basic ninjas can sense this what makes you think a sage mode user wouldn't be able to notice that difference as was shown in the fight with itachi versus naruto and his group? Also as a sage mode user, while they will not be immune to stronger genjutsu's (like itachi and shisui), weaker genjutsu's will be relatively ineffective against them since they can tell the change in their chakra nature. They will know quite quickly if they are under the effects of a genjutsu but if it's something like Tsukuyomi then you're basically F'ed because even if you take yourself out of it immediately you likely still spent hours in it. Adding on to this Sasuke is a weak genjutsu user. At best it would be a moments distraction. If we included ma and pa then it's not even in question if his genjutsu would work.

I don't know about the normal Rasengan variations, but A is probably out of the fight *if* Naruto hits him with a Rasenshuriken.
I think it's clearly implied that the Third Raikage's defense is better than that of his son, as he is the paradox of the impenetrable defense and unstoppable attack, and he is clearly hurt after being hit with the Rasenshuriken. If he wasn't an Edo Tensei, I think it's fair to assume he would be able to keep fighting, but he would be weakened since the Rasenshuriken destroys the chakra network. If we consider that A's defense is inferior to some degree, then he would either be easy to defeat or be incapacitated like Kakuzu was (also consider that the Rasenshuriken from SM has much higher AP than without, seeing how Kakuzu was hit point-blank, stood in the middle of the explosion and could even talk afterwards, being just paralyzed, while Ningendo was hit by just the "blades" of the Rasenshuriken and was desintegrated)

I think this fight essentially boils down to "Can Naruto defeat/survive the Raikage?"
Because when it comes to all the other Kage, Naruto just washes them at this point. The Tsuchikage could probably kill Naruto if he could touch him, but Naruto's froggie sense is going to serve him far better in a fight like this than Sasuke's sharingan did, especially if Naruto can even make a handful of clones. Plus, there's nothing saying Naruto can't take any chance he finds to regather nature energy beyond just using his clones. Any downtime he finds is going to be time that he can recharge his reserves. This means if at any point he is able to get past the kage and track down Danzo, Danzo is going to be facing what is essentially a perfectly fresh Naruto, and a fresh Naruto is going to dive in Danzo's ass.

V2 Aye didn’t block it it burned right through his cloak, the defense part is questionable because Gaara’s sand is a natural counter to Fire style especially since she can just drop pieces of the flame in a similar capacity to the Juubi.
The Madara fight makes it VERY explicit Gaara is not V2 Raikage speed, nor is Rasa, the Rasa fight is a bit weird since the Edo Tensei autocorrect came into play but, I think they’re ~ based on they’re scuffle if anything Gaara shows better intelligence. Just my 2 scents as far as the Susanoo rib cage argument I believe he’s referring to the Susanoo in general and not just the full version especially since v2 Raikage didn’t even break the rib cage again just my 2 cents

It took body flicker+ v2 cloak to dodge Amaterasu. Gaara simply blocked Amaterasu with little effort, meaning raikage at his fastest is as fast as gaaras sand.
Gaara blocking a point blank guillotine drop from a distance also backs up this claim.
I think Naruto would destroy Danzo pretty easily due his sensory abilities. Danzo's Izanagi relevant only against opponent who he can catch off guard appearing somewhere near in his blindspot, but Naruto can passively sense entire Konoha village. He actually don't even need Karin. But if Sage mode rans out he could get tagged with windstyle just like Sasuke did

To be fair, Danzo didn't die to shuriken or kunai. Izanagi doesn't only activate if you die, it erases any damage at all. And a misconception I see a lot is that Izanagi only has as many resurrections as you have eyes. This is not true. Izanagi is infinite resurrections for as long as the timer lasts. Obito probably got resurrected by Izanagi 1000 times in the 10 minutes he was inside Konan's attack. Danzo was resurrected more than 10 times, 1 for each eye.
That was in the anime version of the fight, the Danzo was able to resurrect for 10 minutes total with a number of eyes, Obito could Izanagi after 10 minutes with 1 eye displaying their different mastery of the technique
@@ThunderGodTG We don't know how Obito's worked, all we know is that his Izanagi time limit for 1 eyes was equal to Danzo's limit with 10 eyes. As Izanagi doesn't end after one resurrection, I think it's most likely that Obito kept respawning, taking damage, and respawning again for the entirety of the jutsu, just as Danzo would respawn any number of times that he might be hit in 1 minute before an eye would close.

Not really. Sasuke's MS and susanoo was the reason why he survived as well. Naruto doesn't have any defense to Mei's lava style except substitution or speed blitzing and Sage mode basically giving him precognition. He gets melted into a puddle if Mei gets a hit off with Lava Style.
I like to believe that Naruto, even by that time, was not purely decided by pure power-scaling.

I think that the rikage still gets hurt from rasangan even without the benefit of a doubt. Sasuke was able to go through the cloak and touch him. Didn’t do damage but touched him with shidori, a lighting jutsu. Rasengan is a neutral element and is stronger then shidori. Plus it’s safe amped. No way he’s just tanking it with no damage whatsoever.
Looking at it, if Naruto had Sage mode he would have to had been going through the main series until after the pain fight, with that in mind when it’s Gaara’s turn to fight Naruto he’d more likely join Naruto and it’d be Team Naruto/Gaara vs Team Raikage/Misukage/Tsuchikage, it’d likely be an even match up against the kage with their attendants and Naruto and Gaara and their teammates
I see some people struggling with the idea that this is not an alternate narrative timeline, it's just purely a hypothetical series of matchups completely outside the context of the story.
So Gaara wouldn't join Naruto, it wouldn't even make narrative sense for Naruto to be there in place of Sasuke to begin with. So we don't need to account for what Gaara would think of literally fighting Naruto.

Shisui’s genjutsu was known as the perfect genjutsu because it’s inescapable and whatever happens in that genjutsu happens for real and gives the user full control.
For anyone else but Naruto, this would’ve been game over. But Itachi implanted a crow with Shisui’s other eye to counter the effects of Shisui’s genjutsu. So Naruto would still be fine against that attack.

I have a question. How powerful would Madara be if Limbo have no weakness? So no one can damage or see the Limbo clones, the Limbo clones can use all of Madara's abilities like wood clones (which are also invisible) and perfect susanoo, and can stay in the battlefield for an uncertain amount of time? Can he maybe defeat Kaguya and other Otsutsukis (and them cyborgs)?

Once Taka is under genguitsu, i think there's a high chance that Naruto uses his smoke bombs like he did in the Pain fight, and rasenshurikens C and kills him. This would brrak the genguitsu, whixj would give him help against the Raikage
Rasenshuriken takes time to charge up. You're assuming naruto is charging up a jutsu with no sound. And if the pain paths can dodge it, so can C and the other Jonins. You're overrating the jutsu.

Sasuke made raikage bleed with a lightning based Justu Chidori. If Sage mode naruto hits raikage with wind style (which beats lightning ) rasenshuriken it should one shot. I don’t see any of the Kages beating sage mode naruto 1 v 1. I also believe naruto beats kuruma 1 v 1 kuruma started winning when naruto starting trying to pull his chakra which wouldn’t happen in the real world where everything naruto can do in that battle with kuruma he can do in any battle. Naruto may not be as fast as raikage but he has the reaction speed to combat him in sage mode. Last thing may be a stretch but ima say it I believe if naruto had his multi shadow clone justu during the battle with pain and it didn’t disrupt his clones gathering energy or if he just had better control on sage mode the fight with pain would of went different. If pain defeated Naruto the last biju would have been killer bee you think their village would have did any better with tsunades slugs ?

You can't use Danzo dying to kunai as anti-feat considering Izanagi was activated at the time, so there was 0 incentive for Danzo to dodge. We see Danzo was quite relative to Sasuke when he put the curse mark on him as well as when they mutually stabbed each other. Izanagi gives Danzo at least 10 minutes of invincibility (if he uses it constantly) which is far longer than Naruto's SM (especially considering he'll be spamming Rasenshuriken too).
The point I was making was that Naruto’s physical blows should be enough to actually kill Danzo not that the Kunai thrown killed him, to the point he may not even need to use rasenshuriken, in the same sense once Sasuke saw Danzo revived he didn’t bother with more of his higher chakra use techniques like Amaterasu as there would be no point
@@ThunderGodTG Sasuke did use a ton of offensive attacks such as Ama, Susano'o fists, Susano'o arrows to keep Danzo wasting Izanagi. This was his whole strategy as explained by Tobi. To say that Naruto can replicate this without Rasenshuriken is massive overestimation of his stats and AP.
Agree to disagree I personally think it’s sufficient based on him being able to take down Paths of Pain like the Asura path in one blow who could survive Choji + Multiple Raikiri. That’s just me I think his durability is way more of a factor here and Danzo himself has Zero good durability feats generally speaking.
If you wanna say he uses Rasen that’s fair but, again I don’t think it makes a difference since he can always have clones charging while he fights as well as having clones to compensate for Danzo’s surprise attacks.
@@ThunderGodTG I can see Naruto hitting Danzo a couple of times with stuff like Frog Kata and clone feints but certainly not as consistently as Sasuke with Susano'o and Ama, to the extent that Danzo would have to keep Izanagi activated at all times. I think ur sleeping on Danzo's speed, he was shown twice to be on par with a Sasuke that was much more developed than the one who was on par with the Raikage in v1.

Why even compare bleach to naruto? Bleach characters have FAR more hax than naruto characters do and their defense is also FAR higher as well. If a naruto character gets hit dead on they will probably die to just about any attack. Bleach characters don't give a rats ass, if you aren't even as strong as they are the attack won't even cut them. In terms of speed feats it's obviously bleach since all of their attacks are light speed+. They were already light speed when aizen decided to take over hueco mundo btw. I don't know why people even do naruto vs. bleach battles it's not even a contest there IS no battle.

Also this is slightly headcanony but its likely how fast you fall in Naruto scales to your normal speed. For 1 karin and other characters there didn't speed blitz the Raikage and pull sasuke out of the way while the Raikage is falling. You have to remember ay makes himself exponentally slower if you think he's just falling with the speed of gravity. Genin that can move at the speed of sound could easily be able to intercept the Raikage there.
And the Raikage used the force of falling over him just kicking normally.

I think the "We'd both die" statement is uncontextualized from Naruto. I've always infered it to be more in terms of, he won't kill Sauske as we've seen later at the end of Shippuden, and that he's not strong enough to just completely over power him and convince him to come back to the leaf. So he would have no choice to but to kill him and then himself for killing him like Hashirama was going to do to convince Madara to start the Leaf Village.
Naruto had heard the things sauske did before they met at the bridge after Danzo died and knows his potential power and is witnessing it and felt it with sage mode. He knows it wasn't the time to have an all battle with sauske and that he'd never accept coming back to the village then. There's no way he actually believes that right then vs blind worn out sauske that he'd lose and they would both die. He didn't even roll up in Sage Mode.
I think the use of this statement to hype up sauske is overused and overplayed

My question is, are clones the exact same strength as the original? In terms of stamina, speed, and strength. Because, at minimum, Naruto created six to seven clones at the start of the War Arc (likely more), 4-5 clones joined up with each of the Shinobi Divisions (I think maybe two divisions joined up at this point), one clone was with the medical unit, and one clone was with Mei's unit protecting the Feudal Lords. So this means that the Clone who was fighting against both Mu and the Third Raikage only had, at most, either 1/7th or 1/8 of Naruto's chakra. Or even less. Even though the resurrected Shinobi weren't at full strength, they were still fighting against a 1/7th or 1/8th clone of Naruto, who was able to both dodge and hit them. I think that makes Naruto even more impressive as a clone with weakened chakra took out two former Kage, while the real Naruto was off with Bee.

3rd Raikage is a straight up better version of his son in terms of physicals. He is a respectable gap above Sage Naruto. And Sage Naruto is on the same tier and even surpassed base Minato in overall combat prowess.

Something I find interesting about Pain vs. Sage Mode Naruto, Mount Myoboku Toads, and Hidden Leaf is that Konan mentions Pain is deteriorating after Chaotic Shinra Tensei. So, he's getting weaker as the fight goes on. I also find it interesting that Pa, one of the best Toad Sages from Mount Myoboku, who was relative to Sage Mode Naruto's Taijutsu gets one shot by Pain.
Also, I never see it being mentioned that Naruto got poisoned when he rescued Sakura, with a poison she thought would kill Sasuke. Given that one of Sakura's teachers was Tsunade, who made a poison that made it difficult for Jiraiya to weave his chakra, I'd say Naruto got a significant nerf during that clash.
Slightly disagree with this take - I think sage Naruto has much better feats than Kage Summit Sasuke and is the superior of the two (but they are very relative).

The fact that "Sage Mode Naruto" decimated the Kyuubi with 100 Sage Mode Shadow Clones, and yet a month earlier thought he needed to keep 2 in reserve to fight Pain, who could barely contend with the Kyuubi Avatar with only 8 Tails of Chakra shows me that Mindscapes are not indicative of real power. The Minato manga all but solidifies this belief. The previous nail in the coffin being that Naruto whips out a Six-Paths Fuinjutsu out of absolutely nowhere. You cannot tell me Naruto ever learned Fuinjutsu on a level beyond that of Kushina and Minato. Clearly this is a visualization of chakra, and it cannot be a real feat.
The thing about fighting naruto is unless you are significantly stronger than him and have a ton of aoe damage, you’re actually fighting over a thousand of him 😂
