I'll be honest - I was almost hoping to see a red scrapbook with B&W photos, even though they aren't war relics, but seeing all the relics that were sent was amazing. The history lesson of their designs and time periods was amazing to say the least. Thank you Erik and JD!!

@@TheHistoryUnderground Keeping history alive! Well done, love these videos! I've been a reseller of German WW2 and WW1 photos and paper items for 22 years, so I love this type of stuff. I got over 1200 documents that were liberated from the NSDAP office in Krems Austria by an Austrian citizen and apparently hidden for decades. Got them last year and just a treasure trove of documents.

Wonderful stuff! I wonder how items in the museum is taken care of? When arriving at the door and later when stored long term / display. I mean like paper materials like book´s, or textiles I suppose need some care regarding humidity, insects (like moths) and such destroying the items. Are items treated with some special chemicals or ever washed in any way? I guess that textiles with, let´s say blood or sweat stains or items that belonged to some well known character and such are left out of that loop but other stuff? I´m also thinking aging leather, rust on swords, knives, guns etc. Amazing video, so much knowledge here. Thank you guy´s!!!
