Thank you Liz, I enjoy the whole video; feel like I have a short visitation to you and your plants. 😍 Love all of them, love the special variegated ones, thank you for introducing them 💞
I love seeing your plants!! I cannot get enough of them.. so pretty! I aways add some of the succulents you show on my wishlist whenever I watch your vlogs ☺️
@@GrowingSucculentswithLizK I agree! I wake up early because I’m excited to see my plants even though they looked the same yesterday 😂 I shopped for succulents yesterday because of you hahaha
Love watching your videos!! I live in Minnesota in the USA. Strange place to try and have Succulents, as we have all seasons, but I’m going to try and make it work. I definitely think you should do more “cleaning up” videos, it is soooooo satisfying seeing them get TLC and look all cleaned up and beautiful ❤️
Thanks for watching Amanda. It's trial and error when it comes to finding out which plant can survive in your location. I was devastated when my first few large Aeoniums died as they cost me a pretty penny but I live and learn.
Love this long video. Nakakainspire po Mag alaga ng Maraming succulents kaya lang hindi naman lahat nabubuhay dito sa lowland sa atin. But I try to live with it and try and try and try. And experiment what will work and how it will work. I found out that they love my terrace kasi mahangin as araw at gabi.
I'm glad someone else gets excited over her succulents beauty too, even after numerous years of watching them. 🥰 thank you for all your hard work, we all learn so much! As usual, you inspired me, I'm going outside now to fiddle with my babies 🌵🌸🌱 Happy Lockdown!
@@GrowingSucculentswithLizK it's a stunner! I wish I could show you a picture of mine... have a beautiful day 🥰 thank you for your chats and videos! I look forward to them!
Lizzzz! THANK YOU THANK YOU for sharing your amazing tool, forceps!! Admittedly I was a bit scared to look them up on eBay thinking birthing tools would come up 😂🙈. But they were easy to find and very reasonably priced! I am cleaning up my pots of semps in minutes! I only have about 400 succulents but I can’t believe I’ve been without forceps all these years. They’re definitely a game changer. Thanks so much! My coffee got cold because I couldn’t stop cleaning 😂
Liz I have a pachyveria schedekeri variegated that lost its variegation. So what I did was a head chopped it and the bottom part hasn’t produced any babies yet and the top finally rooted again but is there anyway to encourage the variegation to come back? I was stupid and moved it into partial shade because we had a heat wave for a couple of weeks and by the time I went back to check on it it was too late. It really didn’t have a huge pronounced variation to begin with. Anyway……….. can we get an update on the front garden soon? I love seeing your front garden! Don’t get me wrong I love seeing the backyard and all the potted succulent you have but I love your front garden as well. OK have a nice day have a good week, enjoy the lockdown! Just think how much you can get done around the house lol
I haven't chopped off any of my Pachy scheidekeri because they seem to grow pups from the side or the stem. But my Pachy clavifolia stem that I chopped off or beheaded just died but the head part grew. The front garden is a big mess ATM because of the frost. We're still expected to get more frosty days so I can't touch that area until the threat of frost is gone. That would be maybe in the middle of September which is the beginning of spring here in OZ.
Ok and I’m sorry to keep asking you so many questions I’m new to this lol. I fell in love with succulents and started to bye them for indoors and went overboard, so now I have lots of huge arrangements. I was told in store by another person that they won’t survive in arrangement even with a good soil mixture so my question to you is that true? Last question I promise 🙏🏽 your my favorite succulents RUclipsr
@@karmababy3366 Good full spectrum grow light, fan for circulation, I use either my master succulent soil mix or advance soil mix depending on the plant, watering when needed and they'll be happy as pig in mud.
I have given up on my Compton Carousel. I can't keep them alive in winter. Always die from the frost. It depends where you live. During spring through summer in my area, they grow mad. But when temperature drops, the leaves start to drop too.🥰
I mostly buy my succulents in person from local nurseries and collectors. Just recently started buying online and I got them from WJ Succulents, Succulents Sales Australia, Micks Succulents and Collectors corner eBay.
Is the caputia fragrant if you break one of the leaves? It kind of reminds me of seniceo. Not quite sure if the spelling is correct, none the less nice looking succulent. Everything looks amazing.
Hello, thanks for that video ! it s very interesting to compare cares from a "normal" succulent and a variegated succulent. For exemple I can t stop killing crassula ovata variegata and every time I don t understand why ! 😭 It looks perfectly fine and one day leaves began falling all at once. Have you some advice to give me, specially with the watering, leaves don t get soft like classic crassulas which is my principal indicator from a thirsty succulent 😅. Thanks !!!
Crassula ovata variegata I find prefers a compost rich soil. A premium potting mix with a slow release fertilizer is ideal. It doesn't mind being watered and they can also survive without water for a long time.
The only literature online about Jade Point is that it's an E. agavoides x E. agavoides hybrid. Anything is possible, but I don't see any pulidonis on my Jade point at all.
Ha ha looking for your bear paws. I was once told when in doubt "look under your nose" As when j worked in the restaurant I was always looking for the bottle opener. And sure enough there it was under my bloody nose, straight in front of me.
