In my opinion, the course matters a lot over the University (Be it any Fachhochschule, Technische Hochschule oder Technische Universität), if the course curriculum is something which interests you a lot then go for it. Upskilling, learning job oriented skill is only possible if you put in the time and effort. This is what I observed in Germany. End of the day, it completely depends on the individual's goals and requirements. Wenn Sie mehr Zeit haben, ist es sich sehr einfach zu entscheiden.

Mechanical engineering apart, it is important to say that literally all German state-run universities enjoy a comparable reputation and teach at a comparable level of quality and difficulty. Germans pay little to no attention to the assumed "reputation" or "name" of a university as this status applies to research and says nothing about the quality of teaching. There are no "ivy league" universities in Germany, and German employers give a f...k where in Germany you studied (... unless you study mechanical engineering). Also, German companies need staff. If you pass, you will be employed.
@@na209 Rheinisch-Westfälische Technische Universität (RWTH) in Aachen, Technische Universität München, Technische Universität Berlin to name a few. Hey Max please do reply to this, which are the top 5 universities for ms in artificial intelligence in Germany and also whats the scope of AI in Germany?? I cant find an up to date answer to this question anywhere
I've really been debating between Aachen and Munich lately. I have a rather romanticized view of Munich and in a city like that, I know I could be happy even if I were to be alone (I'm an introvert). But RWTH Aachen has better mentoring facilities than the schools in Munich and they also have a UROP or undergraduate research program which is again missing in the Munich schools. The professors in Munich are doing great research but as we know the faculty to student ratio ain't pretty, which results in limited opportunities. On the other hand, Munich gives me more of a freeing vibe, being a big city that's tied with nature - a place where you'd want to discover yourself during your undergraduates. In case of Aachen, the male to female ratio is low, which can potentially erupt a difficult s3xist environment to reside in and I already come from a s3xist environment. I finally wanna catch some break. I want opportunities that are catered to me but if I'm gonna spend 4-5 years somewhere, I wanna be happy there.
