    I was hoping to get some sense of form from what otherwise seemed to be a shape-shifting amoeba. Unfortunately, this did not happen.
    All I can gather is that Anatoly dislikes misogyny and antisemitism, loves open borders and transsexuals, and gestures vaguely at libertarian principles.
    And to the extent that these are real positions that will hold up over the course of a calendar year, which is far from a given, they can hardly be described as compelling. Might as well drop the hbd stuff and just become a liberal

      P.s. amoeba comparison is brilliant.

    This guy wants to preserve the 1990’s. It’s not possible that was a moment in time it’s passed it’s never coming back.
    The future is authoritarian the only question is who is in charge

    As much as I have my own misgivings about right wing spaces this whole interview seems to be made up of insufferable political hipsterdum. 'Ugh this space used to be so cool smart and edgy before the plebs came along' and crap takes about open borders and Russia.

    This guy’s open borders philosophy sounds absolutely dystopian. Seeing as he is a nonwestern foreigner, I guess it shouldn’t be surprising. But man, terrible take.

    I followed karlin for his hilarious and delusional analysis of the war in ukraine (putin dedtroyed 1000 nato tanks today, victory any day now), this isnt even funny its just cringe.

  • @courtilz1012

    Karlin's position seems understandable given his disillusion with Putler and the Russian conduct of the war in Ukraine. In Western Europe at least I don't think the 'civilisational issue' is going to go away, demographic trends suggest the opposite.

    I think a lot of the ridiculous misogyny is the result of regime reliance on progressive women to further objectives. It's annoying and probably a goaded response, but it's not worth abandoning otherwise sound positions for. Where else is there to go without dropping out entirely anyway?

    have know about karlin for a very long time and like many, i'm tired of how often he switches from black to white etc lol. still, he's so all over the place that he's a source of interesting ideas like that of the network state. geographically dispersed nations have existed from time immemorial.

    Where do the great minds congregate?

  • @candlelightman653
    @candlelightman653 Месяц назад +1

    with the mano-sphere thing, it's more that they went from redpilled (if you have "game" you can "pull" almost any woman regardless of your innate attractiveness) to blackpilled (women are really only attracted to the genetic top maybe 20%, especially top 2%, of men, and ignore the rest of men, and no amount of pickup artistry can change that), resulting in them losing hope. IE, they might be friendly misogynist ("negging" etc...) if redpilled, but bitter woman hating misogynist (women belong in the kitchen, not voting, married off to older men at 15, etc...) if blackpilled. It took time for the incels to go from "maybe I can learn game" to "game actually doesn't ever work," and the conclusion of the latter, if the incels want to reproduce, is some kind of extreme beta rebellion and quasi-enslavement of women.

    The likes Karlin and Hanania are genuinely more intelligent than their critics, but that ends up pushing them in the direction of being agreeable to cosmopolitan VC types. It's a cart pulling the horse thing, or perhaps the reverse. Does a genuine belief put them in good, moneyed worldly company, or does the pull of money subtly alter the beliefs? 🤔

    Alex. What is your recommendation for bringing women back into the fold?

    • @ReversingTheSpell
      @ReversingTheSpell Месяц назад

      "bringing women back into the fold"??? Women are inherently disinterested in dissident and radical political movements/ideologies since they're low status and risky. Women will always support the status quo and whoever's in charge because they want to feel "safe". Catering to, simping or trying to appeal to women will guarantee failure.

    Right wing politics is a complete mess. But there are some elite right wing institutions that are winning: federalist society (supreme court) and Rufo (DEI / CRT). If you are smart you should focus on creating and supporting elite right wing institutions rather than "outrage gutter politics" which is downstream from aristocracy.

    • @JC-qh6wl
      @JC-qh6wl Месяц назад

      The Federalist Society is a social club for any and all lawyers who aren’t anti-racist lawyers as far as I can tell. I don’t think they have any real influence over the Supreme Court or influence over the appointments and I’m not even sure it confers any professional benefits at all.
