Wow! KKS and Karthik! Somehow I didn’t get to see this earlier and did so today when it was prompted. I truly wish you guys got together to spread some knowledge about the forgotten heroes of our past! There are some Hindi channels doing it, but TN desperately needs someone to revive these heroes. I have lost hope on history books (NCERT) doing it, now the only flicker of hope is with Tamil-speaking nationalists. I believe that when our kids become aware of our glorious past and its forgotten heroes our future will get heroes who put Bharath back on the map. Good luck!

Godse belongs to a well educated family of Wai near Pune which is known for intellectual group of people. Nobody reads the exact reason for his action, which is basically full of logic. I do not mean to justify his act, but ask people to think with moral outlook. After hearing all his ramblings I am reminded of a Tamil proverb - " Nalladhu theriyuma Naara Paya Kazhudhaikku". Now these crooks being instigated by Savarkar are trying to put up a brave front as if they were struggling to achieve freedom through their might and asi fi spoiled their show with his policy of Ahimsa. When the British arrested and threw in the Andhaman Jail they pleaded for mercy equating them with Biblical prodigal son and vowed not to cause any disturbance to the Britishers let alone participate in the Freedom struggle. In fact they betrayed the cause of the feedom struggle many a times.

It is quite unfortunate that Gandhi in pursuit of enhancing his own personal image unhesitatingly committed a lot of blunders most importantly the appeasement of a specific community out of fear and/or favour. We have and are paying the price for it even today.

In one you tube video subramanyam swami was heard saying that the type of gun with godse was an issue to italian soldiers and mostly with british soldiers. He had raised the question as to how godse got such a gun. Another thing s swamy said was that the bullet did not match with the ones in godse's gun and that the closest witnesses to the shooting viz the two girls on either side of gandhi were not cited as witnesses. He also said that gandhi was not immediately rushed to the nearby hospital just 10 mts away and gandhi was alive for 40' after he was shot and even drank a glass of water. Any views on that?

The then government had very well planned what has to come out and what should not be out. Nehru wants to show himself as a great leader and he made his scenes and shows that he was an international personality of peace. He nothing did for the defence of India to protect from enemy countries and he never attempted to strengthen military and we were actually under the threat of China and we never made any thing to to strike this threatening especially during prime ministership of Nehru and in fact he was not fit the post of Prime minister Nehru was very cunning and he always thought of retaining in power rather than to think of self respect of the nation. Nehru was a great minus and he was responsible for jammu kashmir issue and pseudo secularism. Gandhi fell into his trap and even adamant Gandhi was gradually cornered starting some decades before independence and at the time Independence he could not do anything.
It was unfortunate to get Nehru as first Prime minister of India and for having retained him in power for a long period up to his death.
Of course British picked Nehru for Prime minister post and Nehru also wanted to grasp PM post. Everything went of for the convenience of British and other international forces and Nehru.

After hearing all his ramblings I am reminded of a Tamil proverb - " Nalladhu theriyuma Naara Paya Kazhudhaikku". Gandhi has persevered to achieve Independence through Ahimsa and other factors such as WW II and US policy against colonization has hastened that process. Gandhi's activities were purely aimed at appealing to the conscience of the British Nation as a whole. Now these crooks being instigated by Savarkar are trying to put up a brave front as if they were struggling to achieve freedom through their might and asi fi spoiled their show with his policy of Ahimsa. When the British arrested and threw in the Andhaman Jail they pleaded for mercy equating them with Biblical prodigal son and vowed not to cause any disturbance to the Britishers let alone participate in the Freedom struggle. In fact they betrayed the cause of the feedom struggle many a times.
