My grandpa died at hospital in December 2011. He helped me to get through the dark living room at my home back in 2010s. (I don't remember the date). He also made an wooden rectangle chair and a wooden chest back in 2010s but I think I forgot the year when did my grandpa made 2 wooden stuff. He bought me a toy robot for me but I forgot the year or date when did my grandpa gave me a toy robot. He also painted 3 rooms in the second floor. He bought a radio for himself but I forgot the year or date when he bought a radio for himself. But sadly he died in 2011 and it's still painful to live without my grandpa. Note: I don't remember some past times with my grandpa from 2006 to 2011

I miss my grandpa so he grew up on a farm in horse days . He could fix or build anything and he treated my mom and my sister and I like we were boys ( which we aren't) but because of him we became scientists because he didn't limit us or our dreams. He ended up being a fireman a brave and funny guy and smart but had to stop school at 12 to help support the younger kids along with his brother after his mom died. Yet he's the one who taught me algebra etc ( he taught himself) and art perspective etc. Such a good honorable kind man we were so lucky to have him in our life.

And he always helped with the dishes, vacuuming or any other task my grandma needed help with

I remember sitting on the porch with him while he drank his coffee, watching westerns with him after school and reading him stories. The last one I ever read to him was A Dog's Purpose. He taught me how to ride horses. He's inspired me to be a worker and be a man even though I'm a woman. He was so young. He should still be with me. A part of myself was always with him, and I lost it when he died. I'm getting it back but I noticed I've been a lot like him, including the interest in women.

I just lost my grandpa and it's been really hard. I'm having a hard time every time I pull into the farm I loose it this sucks 😢
kelby, it sounds like your granpa is turning you into one hell of a man, listening and looking says a lot about a man, I promise ya he is doing both, i am fifty years old and i constanly am wishing i could get those things back, this song here brother is hard to listen to but has inspired me to try harder to play my guitar i just got this year for christmas, for me its the only way now to express how i feel about my family and my life, but i am so damn old but fingers just dont go that way anymore , you make it look so easy it just kills me,, i only have one thing left in life to prove this coming november will be our thirty year anniversery i oue her everthing i want to play and sing her a simple song it will take a miracale i dont have a lot of time but i will keep praying and trying, god bless you, william price

My papaw passed away Wednesday and this song reminds me of him and mamaw so much. He was a cowboy for sure. I miss him soo much. Thank you Kelby for this song!!

I lost my grandpa 13 years ago this month and I was my grandpa’s little girl and his whole world just liked my mama he used said no matter what or where I go you need always remember that you will have your mama, me, grandma and uncle. I still remember him saying that to me but I still miss him everyday of my life and I wish he was still here with all of us and then he could meet his great grandson and also see how much his son loves being a grandpaw.
