I tried it but the sprayers didn't come on. I then opened the lid to the tank with the floaters and raised the middle floater and the sprayers came on. What does this mean?

The middle position is the timer and the clock is actually turning the timer off from my understanding.

The float would need to have reached set levels for them to come on.
What if mine don’t have a timer? I have 3 sprinklers they don’t pop up and spray they just leak under.
