Very good explanation! Like yourself, I have a very similar system and looked all over RUclips for some good videos explaining the complete system. Not much out there. Thank you for posting this.
Make sure you only have to change the diaphragms on your compressor instead of wasting a ton of money on a whole new one. 12 years into my new home and I’ve never had to replace the compressor. Buy the replacement diaphragm rebuild kit and it will only cost $30-$40 every couple years. 😉
I have the exact same system, and while trying to replace the clear alarm hose to panel, I disconnected the hose and it never alarmed. Not sure why it didn't go off after it was disconnected and no air pressure.
Where does the air come out? My colleague was asked to install the pump, we are electiricans lol and the plumber was not available, he isntalled it apparently as he was supposed to but the thing started making air sounds up on the roof gutters haha, i'm assuming that's not normal and they connected the roof drainage to the septic tank?
I may get a house with this system. Trash compares on these are smaller? Concerns me if too much water use with showers and wash machine and over flow. Do you feel like you have to use on a schedule? Advise? Thanks Subscribed
Don’t have aerobic systems. Period. Too much maintenance and headache. Go with conventional lateral line system. Also how clean is the water being sprayed out onto the lawn? Good explanation of the workings of the system though.
@@hocstix the water is clean enough to drink (not recommended 😂) but that is the advantage of the aerobic systems. A conventional system does not have a clean effluent
Excellent summary! Thanks so much!!
Fantastic explanation of how an aerobic system works thank you very much for taking the time to shoot it and explain it

best video i have seen on the subject!!! Thank you, helped me greatly!!
Great explanation! Talk about single points of failure. Glad you were able to figure all that out.

It’s a good thing you didn’t go to the Tampa RV show😅

How long should the compressor run? Ours has been running for a few hours now today.
So my aerobic pump is not pumping enough air flow out but my filter is clean any recommendations? Ty
How close can sprinkler heads be property lines? And is water safe? Thanks in advance
About what is the electric cost to run this system ? Can it be ran on solar with a house power backup ?
Yes I can be placed on solar.

what happens if the areator has not been turned on for like 6 months. I turned it back on and now it stinks. it was all pumped out 6 months ago
Sludge build up. Drop in chlorine tablets and flush a gallon of spoiled milk down the sink to break it up

The system installed is for the amount of people living in the house ie: bedrooms.
The chlorine doesnt mix into the 3rd tank. It mixes with the water flowing from the 3rd tank to the 4th tank.
The John Deere man..... Hell I guess I can subscribe to his channel
Look into Septic Solutions. They should have everything you need.
Very different from septic systems here in the northern states.
If the last tank isn't chlorinated it smells foul.
Seems so common sense but great explanation.
So the aerator pump runs 24/7? That's why my electric bill doubled. You would think it would go on and off to save electricity

You do not have to buy a brand new air pump you can buy parts to rebuild it much cheaper than buying the whole thing
Great overview. Be ready to kill a ton of ants under the pump.
What’s the point of these systems what a pain
The effluent is so clean you can water your yard with it. Better than having sewage coming out.
It is cleaner biologically. Good bacteria rather than bad bacteria.
How many people live in your home for a system that size ?
