I am not muslim i am thinking to revert to muslim but i am not ready yet but i want to read the Quran , but i dont have the book i have it on my pc what are the steps to do it ?
Hi, when reading on your pc there is no problem if you are not in a state of wudhu , same counts for reading on the phone. When reading it in a book it depends on wether there is Arabic in it or just a translation/interpretation. I’m sure the sheikh has a video that explains exactly what the ruling is in that scenario. When it comes to reverting, If you are convinced that Allah is the only One that has the right to be worshipped and that the prophet Muhammad ﷺ was his messenger than I’d like to advise you to take that step as soon as possible. Tomorrow isn’t promised and it would be sad if you died and hadn’t said your shahada. You don’t need an imam or even any witnesses to say it, Allah is your witness. A little over a year ago I myself said on my own in my room and it was the best decision of my life. If you are worried about the reaction of people around you then there is no problem in keeping it a secret for a while, it is between you and Allah and He knows your situation. May Allah make it easier for you
The correct answer in Islam is always the most difficult one, and the one that brings the least pleasure. Doing wudu is an extra added step ( added difficultly) so it is always needed before doing anything and everything especially in this case.
how about if I want to travel with it and read it while I'm on public transport or when I have the time but cannot do wudu because I'm in public in a western country?
@Hazelod public toilets in my area are in horrendous condition. Do you know the ruling on how I can travel with the sacred book? E.g. does it need to be wrapped etc
We have phones now. It's easier with phones since it is not literally the quran. One more thing, I think there's a different rulings for quran with tafseer (Translation) since it was not THE Quran. If I'm not mistaken the wudu rulings is only applied to the Quran which in full arabic with no translation included. CMIIW.
@@MatterLivesWhitekeep it in a case (some Quran mushaf have this built in) or add a clothing on the bottom and on top of the Quran in your bag. Going to mosque and teaching wouldn't be a problem.
