Thats the answer! I was thinking logically and it didn't matched up that one should not read quran until he is paak. A non Muslim wont be paak to read quran right? And our hafiz ji said then non Muslim shouldn't read the quran 😂, finally found the answer!

Excellent ans....coz when muslims say worship of the Lord in an idol is haram ..note not idol itself...but you have to be pure to touch a book doesn't add up...even if is the god's word.. you can't have different yardsticks for different narratives
Brother idol is strictly prohibited in Islam and in Hinduism it is also prohibited as it say God has no shape size ,painting, picture, etc...of what you think(like this....)

I believe calling religious scholars maulana is not correct only in sub continent they called .It's said in surah baqara last auyt ALLAH Almighty has clearly use word maulana for himself in rest of the Muslim countries religion scholars are called imam allama mufti mulla and mostly shaykh plz explain and comments
