Flying with a pod harness for the first time

First flight of 2025!
This was a quick blast after work, to see if I could figure out what this pod harness thing is all about ...
Very warm! Like flying in a sleeping bag 😂 I'll do a review video, at some point, when I've flown on it more.
5mph west wind at Alcock Tarn. Should have walked up to the ridge for a better flight. (This is always true of Alcock Tarn in low winds - GO UP TO THE RIDGE BEHIND!)
Not very thermic in the valley.
Mostly just a long glide down.
But the pod harness (AirDesign Sock) was very warm, easy to groundhandle and launch. Fine in the air. Kind of similar to the Advance Easiness as it is a split-leg hammock style, which I like as it smooths all the bumps out. Getting my legs in and out of the pod was straightforward - even without a bungie - you just put your knees wider and slip a foot back, and suddenly you're inside.
