Sunset flydown from Steel Fell, NE wind, very cold! 🌨️🌨️🌨️

A last-minute dash up Steel Fell after work for a brief hike and fly. Just a basic flydown top to bottom before it gets dark.
Bitterly cold on the top. Nobody else up there, very sensibly!
NE 8mph, so launched from the Ash Crags end on the gentle grassy slopes that overlook Thirlmere.
A duff attempt at takeoff first time (heavy handed), but second much better and then went to launch.
Air was bumpy in Dunmail Raise but nothing terrible. Really I was just looking to land before it got properly dark, whilst avoiding the bog and marshes...
If nothing else, the walk up is keeping me fit 👍

8mph background wind at 2000ft but there is a windy gap in Dunmail raise where it accelerates, and the takeoff on steel fell there is a compression with a similar acceleration. So maybe feels like 12-15mph near some of the terrain 👍
