The story about the spider is interesting, there is a Christian story that's exactly the same about an apple. There was a sinner in hell who was evil, but her guardian angel pleaded to God for mercy mentioning that she once gave an apple to a beggar. God said okay you can take an apple and tell her to hold onto it and pull her up. The angel rushed to hell reached out the apple and started pulling her up. Other sinners started grabbing on and was being pulled up with her, she got angry and started kicking them off saying this is my apple I did the good deed, and once she did that the apple broke and she was flung back to hell. I am curious to see which story came first between the Japanese one about the spider and the Christian one about the apple.
I definitely agree that each Signers Dragon monster is their Ace. However, many of the Signers run multiple archetypes in their decks, so I'd argue that they would have another Ace monster alongside their respective Dragon. For a few examples, Yusei has a Stardust Synchron Junk deck, so as you mention Stardust Dragon and Junk Warrior/Junk Synchron would likely be the Aces for his deck (alongside maybe like Junk Guardna or something as well), Jack has an Archfiend Resonator deck so alongside Red Dragon Archfiend I think one of the Resonators would probably be his other Ace, Crow has a Blackwing deck, so as you mention Armor Master and Black-Winged Dragon would both be his Aces, and Leo has a Morphtronic deck, so I feel like he'd have a Morphtronic Ace as well as his Power Tool Dragon/Life Stream Dragon. I also agree with the Dark Signer Aces, if you aren't going with the Earthbound Immortals (which I can see an argument for) then whatever their Dark Synchro is, like shown in the video for most of them, would probably count as their Ace, with some of them having other Aces in the Fortune Fairies/Fortune Ladies, Infernities, etc. as Aces alongside their Earthbound Immortal/Dark Synchro. Basically, I feel like each archetype/group in the characters deck would give them an Ace in addition to whatever Ace they would have if it wasn't already included.
Stardust: Protection Red Dragon Archfiend: Power Black Rose Dragon: Destruction Ancient Fairy Dragon: Spirit Guardian Lifestream Dragon: Life force Black Wing Dragon: Masochist?🤷♂️
I'd offer up Endurance. Black Wing Dragon's able to take on damaging effects onto itself to shield others, and hold out long enough to dish out that same pain back.
I think it's fun to think of Rex Goodwin's ace monsters as being his "Signer Dragon" and Dark Signer ace. Obviously putting Signer Dragon in quotes, as he wasn't actually chosen to be a Signer, he literally just put on his brother's arm. But it does fit in with the theme of Signers having Dragon ace monsters.
6:21 that's actually not true. It was never said so this misconception started from some fan's theory on an old blog and spread. Crow originally wasn't supposed to be a signer but he also wasn't supposed to be a dark signer. We know this because in a flashback to Crimson Dragon defeating the Earthbound Immortals you can see Life Stream there but not Black Winged Dragon.
Psychic School of Witchcraft and Wizardry has got to be the best thing I heard today haha. I remember from Day 1 my brother had Crow's booster/Starter deck and he had Blackwing Dragon, I believe I had the Junk Destroyer Booster/Starter deck at the time or the one with Stardust Dragon, sadly can't really remember too clearly as memory can be terrible at times but I definitely know my brother had Crow's deck and I had Yusei's deck
3:40 you actually want to know that they were not the only ones that got their megas, in digimon adventure tri, which is a continuation of the originals, we see the megaevolutions of every other character, and as a matter of fact, before this arc we actually can see that other 2 gets their megas, this being angemon and angewomon on a movie

Crow summon armor master more than black wings dragon and use in important duel too. Plus you can see armed is the younger version of armor master to full armor master
Pretty cool that Yusei has two ace monsters that represent his different traits. Junk warrior represents his bond with his friends and Stardust dragon represents his need to protect them.
I just realized that out of all the Yu-Gi-Oh characters, we actually know definitively what is in 99% of Aporia's deck. Since in the anime, each of the three Meklord Emperors are actually five monster cards each, plus the three different core cards that gets them out, three Meklord Army cards, Meklord Astro Mekanikle, and Meklord Astro Dragon Asterisk, that is 23 monster cards in total. And throughout his duels, we see him use 9 Spells, and 7 traps. In total, that is 39 cards, meaning there is at least 1 card in his deck we have never seen him use. It is fascinating to me that we practically have a complete deck profile for one of the main villains in the anime.
For Z-ONE, I'm thinking of his circle traps being his aces. I don't know why it would be metaion exactly since it is one of the 10 timelords and it's not necessarily one of the win conditions of the deck.
If/when you get to Vrains which monster are you going to use for Yusaku's ace monster? Firewall was originally intended to be the ace monster but because it got limited it was barely used in the show and when it got banned Yusaku never used it again during the final duel. Decode was used more than Firewall but it was only summoned on screen once during season 2 so it wasn't treated like his ace either, but he was used during the final duel. But Firewall has all the big ace monster evolutions like Stardust does so Idk...
Stardust is Yusei's primary ace, Junk Warrior would be like his DMG a weaker monster but they still use them all the time, because Stardust is what makes him plot relevant as a Signer, no plot dragon no Signer status Junk Warrior is probably the closest to being a full ace though and further support's my theory that if the protagonist ace's primary effect is to increase it's atk it will be lower than 2500 to retain it's underdog status 3:51 you kinda need to clarify "the original" because everyone gets Mega in the 2020 reboot
Man every time you talk about 5d, you make me wish that you will release video like you did for duel monsters and gx for the power of all the characters in the series😢🙌
Yusei’s ace should definitely count as both Junk Warrior and Stardust Dragon since until Yusei regained his Stardust Dragon Junk Warrior was definitely his ace card
Crow's ace is his blackwing card. He uses it the most and it fits his strategies. Black Winged Dragon appears AFTER the signer arc, doesn't really fit the deck after it's first appearence and fits better as his boss monster by those parameters.
I think for Z-ONE his Boss Monster is all the time lords. As each of them represent part of Z-ONE’s despair of his unsuccessful attempts to try and stop his catastrophe with no success results endlessly.
The other Digi-Destined's Digimon did get Mega level evolutions. Kari and TK got Seraphimon and Magnadramon in the first Digimon movie (Angewomon should still have digivolved in to Ophanimon because Ophanimon is in Gatomon's evolution line)
I think Carly's ace is Hikari since that's the "Super Happy" fortune card. For Fortune Ladies, I think the only real ace is Every, but that wasn't in the anime of course. For Kalin, I think Hundred-Eyes Dragon is his ace as a Dark Signer and Infernity Doom Dragon becomes his ace after the Dark Signers arc, since he no longer has Hundred-Eyes as it was a Dark Synchro monster.
Can we please put the whole 'Crow was gonna be a villain' and 'got promoted to signer due BW popularity' rumors to rest? They've been debunked for years and never withstood scrutiny. Same with many other rumors that seem to plague 5Ds for no reason. 5D's production has a whole history that's interesting without digging up actual nonsense. I recommend the fantastic 5D's retrospective video by Foxcade for people that want to delve into it
Kalin actually has 4 aces: Signer: hundred eyes dragon. His dark synchro. Reaper: infernity death dragon. His infernity archetype true ace synchro. Game: trishula dragon of the ice barrier. An ace of certain Tcg meta. Manga: void ogre dragon. His duel dragon (equivalent of signer dragon)

I got Stardust Dragon as my first Synchro back at the day in 1. Edition Super Rare. And guess what I got as 25. Year Edition? Stardust Dragon. I love him.
So to talk about that Crow thing: it’s not true. Blackwings were released in November 7th 2012 with the episode airing Crow aired in November 28th and knowing how animation works it wouldn’t be possible or realistic to change it within that timeframe. It’s fake that someone on Reddit made up. Same with Carly’s Va being in a cult causing her to be written out of the final arc of 5Ds
When you’re done with this particular series of videos, you should back through and do it again except for the mangas instead of the anime. Lazar and Rex gets better aces monster in the manga!
The way you pronounced Meklord Astro Mekanikle is great. "Mecha Nickle" (You just pronounce it like in real life if it was spelled correctly as 'mechanical') XD
6:13 We don't know that for sure, we don't know that for sure; I dislike him as much as the next sane person, but the theory is mere rumor, nothing confirmed beyond "not originally going to be Signer"; please stop, please stop.
@soukenmarufwt5224 Never said it was real. Only that with his character and how he was initially introduced, he would have been a very good dark signer character.

@@Diamondr11Blue hopefully some random people saw this an learned the truth
@@Mimiyan_or_Pikapikafan seems to be a bunch of bitter akiza fans blaming him and making this weird shit up. Yusei's the one who truly stole thr spotlight from everyone
I thought Crow being a villain was a debunked theory.
It is literally debunked with two seconds of Googling, idk how large creators keep promoting it.
I remember while watching I also came up with a "Junk" theme deck but they had a more "Frankenstein" look as in being a patchwork creation made out of multiple parts. That deck had a slight Fantasy theme with monsters like Junkyard King, Queen, Knight and Dragon
Would have been great for Carly if they had the Fortune Lady Every Synchro Monster in the anime as that would have been her Ace.
What i learned from this video is that in order for a monster to be an ace monster its effect has to inflict between 400-800 damage to your opponent
Stardust: Protection
Red Dragon Archfiend: Power
Black Rose Dragon: Destruction
Ancient Fairy Dragon: Spirit Guardian
Lifestream Dragon: Life force
Black Wing Dragon: Masochist?🤷♂️
Uh, camaraderie.
Gamble lol
I'd offer up Endurance. Black Wing Dragon's able to take on damaging effects onto itself to shield others, and hold out long enough to dish out that same pain back.
Damage drain is protection/ sacrifice w/o having to leave the field. Stardust does similar but you lose a monster in the process
@@Wolfboss7 sounds good
I think it's fun to think of Rex Goodwin's ace monsters as being his "Signer Dragon" and Dark Signer ace. Obviously putting Signer Dragon in quotes, as he wasn't actually chosen to be a Signer, he literally just put on his brother's arm. But it does fit in with the theme of Signers having Dragon ace monsters.
Yusei-Wind
Jack-Dark
Akiza-Fire
Luna-Light
Leo-Earth
Crow-Double Dark
Why is that funny
What? No love for Water? (If the Crimson Dragon card appeared in the anime, do you think it would’ve been Divine?)
I'd say between 5Ds and Arc V are my top series of Yu-Gi-Oh that I utterly enjoyed from start to finish
I'm loving this series. Ngl though, it'll be hard to to top GX with just how.... insanely hard it is to nail down Jaden's Ace.
Letsgoooo I’ve been wanting for this video as I love Team 5ds. Thank you Tgs anime!
In the manga -
Yusei: Lightning Warrior, and then Flash-Karat Dragon - Stardust
Jack: King of Divine Punishment - Black Highlander, and then Jeweled Demon Dragon - Red Daemon
Aki: Gallant Angel - Queen of Rose and Great Gallant Demon Angel Rosarian, but then Moon Flower Dragon - Black Rose
Crow: Black Feather Tamer - Hawk Joe the Jet Black, and of course Darkwing Dragon - Black Feather
Lua and Luka: Machine Dragon - Power Tool and Fairy Dragon - Ancient
Kiryu: Infernity General and Purgatory Dragon - Ogre Dragoon
Rudger: Underworld Dragon - Dragonecro and its upgrade Underworld Corrupted Dragon - Dragocytus
Rex: Heavenly Supreme Dragon - Dragoascension, Ultimaya Tzolkin and its counterpart Ultimate Phantasmal God Ultimitl Bishbaalkin
Red Dragon Archfiend is my favorite Ace card in 5Ds
I noticed in Yugioh that the ace monsters of main heroes usuallt have 2500 ATK whereas their friendly rivals have 3000 ATK
Crow summon armor master more than black wings dragon and use in important duel too. Plus you can see armed is the younger version of armor master to full armor master
It’s pretty cool that Yusei has a main ace in Stardust and a sub ace in Junk Warrior and all the other synchro warriors are his backup arsenal.
Ancient Fairy Dragon is the only one left to have an upgrade. Can't wait to see what it does.
Considering it was on the ban list for some time, what "upgrade" are you really expecting here?
Digimon and Yu-Gi-Oh fan here. Loved the reference!
For Z-ONE, I'm thinking of his circle traps being his aces.
I don't know why it would be metaion exactly since it is one of the 10 timelords and it's not necessarily one of the win conditions of the deck.
Infinite machine? Empty machine? For aporia it would be astromachinikle maybe
Hi TGS Anime I love this and I hope you have a good day and my favorite one out of the singer dragon is stardust dragon
Life stream Dragon is so painfully crap, it’s tear inducing.
Stardust is Yusei's primary ace, Junk Warrior would be like his DMG a weaker monster but they still use them all the time, because Stardust is what makes him plot relevant as a Signer, no plot dragon no Signer status
Junk Warrior is probably the closest to being a full ace though and further support's my theory that if the protagonist ace's primary effect is to increase it's atk it will be lower than 2500 to retain it's underdog status
3:51 you kinda need to clarify "the original" because everyone gets Mega in the 2020 reboot
Black Winged Dragon appears AFTER the signer arc, doesn't really fit the deck after it's first appearence and fits better as his boss monster by those parameters.
i am disappointed that yusei's ace card is not speed warrior due to the fact that he summons speed warrior all the freaking time
I think for Z-ONE his Boss Monster is all the time lords. As each of them represent part of Z-ONE’s despair of his unsuccessful attempts to try and stop his catastrophe with no success results endlessly.
Imo Crow's ace is Blacking Bora the spear. He pretty much opened it in every single duel he was in. I'd consider the dragon more of his boss.
Since it was released, Black Rose Dragon has been my favorite card
The other Digi-Destined's Digimon did get Mega level evolutions. Kari and TK got Seraphimon and Magnadramon in the first Digimon movie (Angewomon should still have digivolved in to Ophanimon because Ophanimon is in Gatomon's evolution line)
Actually they didn't get them until the third movie/third part of the Dub movie.
It was the third movie actually
crow hogan's blackwing deck was my absolute favourite deck in the series
Yusei's ace is his trusty speed warrior that is always in his opening hand.
Fun fact : moon and sun dragon are reference to sun and moon pyramids of the azrecs since 5Ds is inspired by the aztec mythology alot.
Dude, YGO 5Ds and Digimon season 1 are the same thing!
Yusei and Jack = Ty and Matt
Angelmon= Ancient Fairu Dragon.
Garudamon= Black Wing Dragon.
Etc.
When you do Zexal, please do III, IV, and V’s aces
Yo tg you ever thought about doing a vid on your own personal deck ? Can’t lie pretty curious to hear bout it 0:27
Finally, this was the video I was waiting for.
That’s a good point Armor Master is probably Crow Ace and Black Winged Dragon is more of his boss monster
For carlys ace, the mirroring is quite an argument.... in her good form, wonder stone came to my mind tbh
*sees Akiza in the thumbnail *
Well, excuse me while I go "shuffle" my "deck"
Crow was meant to be dark singer was just rumor
Exactly
Can we please put the whole 'Crow was gonna be a villain' and 'got promoted to signer due BW popularity' rumors to rest? They've been debunked for years and never withstood scrutiny. Same with many other rumors that seem to plague 5Ds for no reason. 5D's production has a whole history that's interesting without digging up actual nonsense. I recommend the fantastic 5D's retrospective video by Foxcade for people that want to delve into it
Kalin actually has 4 aces:
Signer: hundred eyes dragon. His dark synchro.
Reaper: infernity death dragon. His infernity archetype true ace synchro.
Game: trishula dragon of the ice barrier. An ace of certain Tcg meta.
Manga: void ogre dragon. His duel dragon (equivalent of signer dragon)
19:33 I'm sorry but I have to call you out, mate. I know it's not on purpose, but whoever told that the c in Leblanc can be pronounced doesn't know how to speak french. I'm clearly nitpicking on small details, but I couldn't hold back my rent on this
Besides that, it's a fantastic video as usual
15:15 Life has many doors, Ed boy
You need to do a vidoe on the archetype weilded by Leon Wilson/ Von Schroeder, fairy tail cards.
Lord of D
D.D. DRAGON
D/D/D ARCHTYPE
D/D/D/D sub archtype
5 D's series
6 D's D stands for dragon and in 5D's there are 6 Dragons
Thanks Mr. Yugioh man you made my cardio way more fun
Imagine being Griga your cult friends have unique ace monster and he was like "ah yes my ace monster FTK machine"
I think I need to bring this up, so, when’s the next unboxing video? It’s been 6 months since your last one, and I was curious as to where they went.
Yo tg you ever thought about doing a vid on your own personal deck ? Can’t lie pretty curious to hear bout it
With Greiger you forgot dark flattop when he became a dark signer
For Kalin, I'd argue his Crashtown BOSS is Infernity Doom Dragon... but his Crashtown Ace is Infernity Zero
Its too bad we never got a yugioh gx season 4 dub and a yugioh season 3 dub. I still wish they would happen, cause it would wrap there seasons up.
I feel like dark synchro summoning is a mechanic konami wanted to imply but couldn't because it would be over complicated
Why do you dislike him? Akiza?
Crow would have been an amazing dark signer.
This has been disproven multiple times.
That post was a troll post fan boys fell for years ago and still fall for it.
@soukenmarufwt5224 Never said it was real. Only that with his character and how he was initially introduced, he would have been a very good dark signer character.
now you provide proof @@soukenmarufwt5224
Nope. No motive, wouodve been a kalin ripoff. Can't say the kids since when he lost them he STILL fought for good. If he had to face the Signers he would have to hurt the kids, which he wouldn't do 🥱
@@RFDN0 how? Kalin already takes the cake
Can we get the Duel Analysis for Aporia Vs Jack, Leo and Luna?

No, no, not _that_ kind of Dark Synchro Monster, people. Keep up.
