4:42. Granville 16 has the same zipper flaw that dates back all the way to Arrakis models: No overlap or hood on the zipper closing point. With motion and use, the zipper wiggles up a few millimeters and water drips through. It’s incomprehensible why Arc’teryx do not fix this design. There’s no point having watertight zippers with a single point of failure.
CTB26. Best bag design on the market. They really need to offer an XL harness option. That’s the only down side of that bag. The pack itself is perfection but the harness loses too A19/GR/MR.
Depending how much to carry i shift between AC Daily plus and CTB 26, both in xpac. Its just one design issue with the ctb. The smaller front pocket can't stand heavy rain even with ag zippers, its soaking wet. So but overall great bag, both of them are my most used. Will check in the winner bag later today, never used a Arcteryx.
Great lighting on this video, and the red backpacks in the background separate the one being showcased, making everything more visible (compared with previous videos with black table, black bag, black background, darker lighting). Great work!
The Able Carry Daily Plus is my pick-stylish and just the right size. At 16 liters, the Arcteryx is too small for what I want to carry everyday or for travel.
Evergoods CTB 26 for me. I use it for both edc and pair it with a small cabin luggage for travel. Still fighting the urge to get the Griffin 2, it's an ongoing daily battle not to pull the trigger.
Awesome list, with some great packs I haven't seen yet. The CTB pretty much ruined packs for me. I haven't yet found one that works as well for my carry needs. I just wish I had snagged one of the waxed canvas ones!
Great lineup. Per the other video, I'd rather use any of these packs as my work pack. The only headscratcher is why some of these packs leave out a luggage passthrough function-that should be standard on any pack these days, IMO. I know these are all fully featured backpacks, but I have to say, that we are getting tons of use out of the Matador/Carryology EDX backpack. Even my wife loves and uses it!
Totally agree with you on the Granville 10L, I will never sell mine. They made it in a 15L as well, but for me, the 10L is the perfect size carry. That is one of the greatest messengers ever made. As far as the winner for me, that would go to the CTB26. Even though I hate external water bottle pockets on an around town EDC pack, the CTB26 is still one of my favorite bags of all time.
No tbb, no axiom? This is crazy, but at the same time theyre like : Dont forget to get your cpl16 that carries 10L and depth is 8inches deep 🤣. Yall strange.

Totally agree. While I find the harness mostly comfortable, I do wish it was larger.
Why not feature the CTB20, if this is an EDC lineup? That's the one in the series actually meant for EDC.
That was released after our testing window :)
@@CarryologyTV Your testing window for 2024 closed with more than half the year still remaining?! Cause it was released in the first half of June...
Sourcing carry from all over the world and proper testing takes time 😉

1+ Able Carry Plus. Been rockin it the last few months. Love it.
CIVIC TRAVEL BAG 26L - GRIFFIN EDITION in Waxed Camo one of my top favorite of the year hands down!!
Not a big brand like the others, but my Rehose Buddy 30 is the absolute perfect pack for me!
Able Carry Daily Plus is my go to bag for one and a half years. The back panel is insanely comfortable. +1 for Able Carry Daily Plus
I agree! Arc’Teryx number one! although that A19 option looks sweet.
The Able Carry Daily Plus is my pick-stylish and just the right size. At 16 liters, the Arcteryx is too small for what I want to carry everyday or for travel.
Alpha one niner!
CTB 26!
Evergoods CTB 26 alllll day 🙌
Evergoods CTB 26 for me. I use it for both edc and pair it with a small cabin luggage for travel. Still fighting the urge to get the Griffin 2, it's an ongoing daily battle not to pull the trigger.
I know it's a bag video...but I dig that hat...anybody got info on make of the hat?

CTB26 for reader’s choice!
Hands down, the Able Carry Daily Plus

CTB26 here too.
No Aer City Pack??
Not this time! It's not a new release from the 12 months (ish) between Jan23 - Jun24
My Champ ist the Evergoods CTB 26
Weird winner but I can see it. Messenger bag though, you really overdid it.
Evergoods CTB26.
CTB26 in X PAC
CTB26!
It’s the last time Mystery ranch will not be called yeti.
Congrats to Arcteryx for first place. Love their stuff. My #1 pick is the Evergoods CBT 26. Cheers from Canada.
Able Carry Daily Plus not even in the running?...
Arc'teryx Granville 16 linky no worky
CTB is a great bag, however, i would not consider this backpack in the EDC category.
I hear your voice but your mouth isnt moving!

CTB26 > Granville 16

Don't forget, Axiom and TBB are old bags, not new releases from the 12 months (ish) between Jan23 - Jun24
@CarryologyTV very true. Didn't know was year Based capped.
Black Ember Citadel 25, sleek, minimalist design with ample storage, and comfortable ergonomics, it’s perfect for everyday carry.
CTB26 for sure. I’m surprised you guys didn’t include the CTB20 instead. That would have been my pick for the best EDC Backpack of 2024.
That was released after our testing window :)
Don’t like the winner at all I get it you like the water proofing but just looks like a jelly bean.
literally nothing from aer on any category? yall are crazy
yeah, TP3S Ultra is outstanding
