Thanks for the support everyone, I really appreciate the positivity and can’t wait for this new Challange. Just on my flight to LAX right now, see you here in a few days with some RHD RTR V8 onboard noise! 🙌
please make this car public when you have reveled the car because it looks so fun to drift and i play so much asseto and not many cars are that accurate maybe thats just me. bless up
After watching knock out qualifying tonight, your qualifier run was identical to your second run on the sim at long beach. It forsure paid off! It’d be really cool to see you on the podium tomorrow man! Good luck!
@@tenwayssss The physics in DoorBreaker'z is okay. What's wrong with it? Some of them are extremely grippy and aggressive. Sure some of them are slower and easier, but you just avoid them if you're any good. Every time I hear 'not good physics' about a drift car pack I ask myself 'how would you even know?'. Most people a. can't drift that well in AC, and b. have no idea about real life drifting.
Thanks for sharing more sim stuff, it's awesome to see - as a sim racer :) It would be super awesome if this car would be available for rest of the world as well in the simworld
YES. I would love it, and tbh I'd probably stump up real cash, if I could download that mod. It's so hard to know whether any of the cars I routinely drift in AC are related to real world car in terms of feel, and it'd be extremely pleasing to have James Deane's approval.
@@thesprawl2361 VDC cars are about as close to IRL pro cars as it gets (that are publicly available anyways) also Tsujigiri more traditional DMEC style setups.
@@Prxymetime VDC cars are my pick when it comes to competition cars, for sure. The C6 in the latest VDC pack is probably my favourite car in AC full stop. There are a few other cars that have pretty realistic grip levels and twitchiness, eg. one or two from the last Doorbreaker'z pack, but VDC cars are consistently responsive, twitchy and grippy. So they're my go-to, at least for high power drift cars. "also Tsujigiri more traditional DMEC style setups." IDK what this means.
@@thesprawl2361 In FD they are more regulated in terms of car setup than DMEC. You'll typically see more cars that are lighter, less power, and more grip compared to US FD cars. Adam LZ's recent video testing his DMEC car for this weekend has a pretty good little segment with Dave from Drift Games that kinda explains the difference between the two.
What an absolute savage run! I don’t think many drivers will be able to follow that entry. I get the feeling we are going to see quite a bit of action against that wall 😅
so excited to see how this season goes down also it'd be sick to see a public release for the assetto mod once the new cars and liveries aren't under embargo and all that's taken care of
@@nathankennedy4556 yea maybe... It'd just be sick to see an "official" car pack for all of the current RTR pro cars come straight from RTR, and get something that feels and handles as close to the real cars as possible, and in the configs that they are currently set up in.🤞
Good luck James in this season 🤙👌 thanks for the videos they really help take my mind off things unfortunately I just lost my Mother yesterday she used to be a rally photographer with my father years ago. She loved motorsports 🙏
Let's get focused James We believe in you bro Go have fun Which I know I don't have to say these things We all voting for you and the RTR team Mustang gang in the building
James- if I didn't know you had never driven an RTR, I wouldn't know! This man can literally drift ANYTHING- world class driver you are man! 👏🏻 Can't wait to watch you!
We opened up a cut through so you could head back to the start faster and you drifted through the cut through, full tilt hahaha. Just like in this sim.
In assetto corsa, if you cant find a good angle on the replays, try pressing F5. Now you can move the camera around with the mouse, while the replay is playing. Stoked to see you back in FD!
If i could recommend one thing, it would be to stay in it, like you did on that last pass and threw the pits. Maybe even do some practice runs where you just force yourself to stay on throttle the hole time. It helps keep the weight on the rear, at least in my gaming experience. #NOLIFT
@@fussyfez crazy i know but because he likes to pedal the car, and the way the mustangs are set up they make more grip when on throttle in my experience, and i would like to see him do well. i know the chance he would not only see but let alone try my suggestion are low but f it worth a shot.
holy cow im excited, i miss the piotr and james duo but now the RTR team is going to be insaneee!! at a loss for words almost lmfao im just excited to watch again.
One potential problem with a more sensitive steering rack is that it might be more difficult to get that perfect angle locked in right away without as much visible movement on the wheels. It seemed that last year Ryan L commented a fair bit on drivers who were making adjustments mid-corner. Less sensitive steering will be more forgiving, as it is easier to make small adjustments without it being noticeable to the eye. Keeps a heads up if they start deducting you points over it especially as you say these cars require lots of steering input.

Can't wait to see you perform in FD again!
Get that podium just like you did in 2016
2017
16:40 That killed me when you bounced over the curb and kept flying.
I was in tears 😂
damnn now I want to see the destruction in real life why did you point that out
the fact he even pulled that off is just 🤯😂
i haven’t even watched this yet and i know it’s gonna be sick
Not even glazing, but James is just that good.

You should get this car released for public download when its finished! would love to drive it virtually

You're just unreal, is there anything you can't drift. Straight into the RTR Mustang and making it look easy, both in reality and virtually 🙌
As someone who Sim Drifts, these videos are phenomenal, inspiration.🐐
Great advertisement for the Czech drift series.
You should get yourself a VR headset. It completely changes the feel of the simulation even more! I use a rift s with mine and it’s pretty decent
I can't wait for FD to hit Utah. This season is going to be amazing! Finally get to attend!
I’m stoked to see you back in FD James ❤
You seem SO happy! That smile is contagious! We'll all be rooting for you brother! LETS GO!
Don't mind me just a fan secretly anticipating The Wang VS Dean battle
SO curious how your input will change the RTR team, I know you’ll have valuable insights and feedback for the team
