I just found your channel and subscribed. Your porch is gorgeous! Tell your husband that if a hurricane comes you not only have to remove the lamp but most of that decor as well, so it can stay till then! The only thing I would do is you need to take your ferns out and put something down in the pots to raise them up as they are too low. Great job and your porch is gorgeous! 💯❤️
@@cherylmiller7208 true! we always make sure we take everything off the porch before a hurricane so this is no exception! lol for my ferns-i do have a clay pot within the tall pots, i just should have put a little more potting soil in there to raise it more! I really love the way you decorated your front porch. I love the blue you added. We spend a lot of of time on our porch, here in Louisana it gets really hot in the summer, so having light colors and fans makes it bearable. Happy porch sitting!!

Keep the lamp just put it on a timer or leave it unplugged looks great. Pull off dead flowers on your petunias they love it and produce more flowers. Love your porch.
You can get an outdoors lamp, I bet if you look, you will be able to find one blue and white, that way you can keep it outside all the time.
Your porch is beautiful - the blue and white makes it look lovely with the beautiful chairs. Have you thought about running white lights in the porch ceiling? You have a beautiful family!
i have thought about the bistro lights! we already have canned lighting out there but i really would actually like to put a ceiling fan on either end to get a good breeze going!
Remove dead flowers from petunias to keep them growing -- it's a must. Yes, blue and white is always in style!! Like the lamp and you can get ones specifically for covered outdoor use -- but the scale seems off with the floral. Maybe just try the cherry stems for height to complement the short lamp. Felt the same about the pot on the column. Maybe pot on the floor or a short riser and the column at the far end behind and along side the rocker with another fern. Love your happy attitude.

We don’t know why but I think it’s going to be a rough year for them. Also, you seem like such a wonderful mom and have a huge heart for your animals too💛💛

Your porch is so pretty!! I think I would boost up the ferns a bit with a smaller upside-down pot inside & under the fern. The begonia is beautiful but looks dangerously top heavy around the littles & the dog. Maybe a smaller flowering plant in a lightweight faux clay pot & and the begonia down beside the column. Absolutely love the pillow cover idea, and the blue & white are my favorite!❤

First, may I say you look fabulous, for having a 5 month old baby ! And you are beautiful, wow.
So, ...I recommend Krud Kutter for your Outdoor Furniture... its non toxic, and does a great job. I've used this product for decades. ...and yes, I think you should paint your Rocking chairs, in a satin finish white , to co- ordinate with the Resin chairs. ( I am a former Professional Painter) and a good cleaning, and then paint will do a lot to refresh your Rocking chairs.
I do not do " real plants, " lol. I have only a few that I know I cant " kill off " , lol...so I opt for lifelike faux ones. I can clean those as required. ..so I love the Flowers, looks so pretty !
Your Porch is Beautiful... I love how resourceful you are, with the pillowcase, that is something I'd do ,in the meantime ...and its washable! And you can change it whenever needed. 👌🏻
I am the same ,with these " trends " ....not just the Blue and white as you mentioned but A LOT OF things I've had,used for y e a r s. Lol. ( and I'm older 60 + years young, lol). I agree with the Mosquito products, I am allergic to those ! Lol. I use Lamps everywhere... the kitchen, bathroom. Hallway, Outdoors,..lol..I love the Soft Glow of Lamps, and I even read Outside by the Lamp I have out there.... You actually can find " Outdoor Lamps " but I'd still bring that in ,with Hurricane Season.

It's to bad you can't screen in your porch to keep those pesky bugs away. I always hate that your cooped in all winter and it's time to get outside and the bugs drive you away. Petunias can take the heat really well you need to water them after the sun goes down, but they are a heat tolerant plant. Love the lamp. I got from Amazon a solar lamp that I use on my deck with my RV. It's so nice to have a lamp on the deck or porch. Try getting the solar one all you need to do is charge it by the sun. If your hubby' is against it due to being plug in them try the solar. Also, you may want to try some battery-operated candles or some battery-operated fairy lights.

If you ever want to change the color of your chairs, They have spray paint for plastic and I painted mine gray they turned out beautifully

Mesquite trees are I think buy 2 free get 6 more also free. I want to remind you children can get asthma from allergy so it is worth it to get him tested and treated. I am a mum and a nurse old enough to be your mother so I hope you read this and listen. God bless. Children are a joy blessing and grow up way way too fast. So enjoy every minute of their lives. Also husbands can help too. I worked out side the home my littles never went to daycare and we both gave 125% to run our home!

So beautiful! I have outdoor string lights plugged in all year round on a timer. I’m not sure why your husband doesn’t like the lamp. People have all kinds of things plugged in but maybe I’m living dangerously 😂

Fertilizer your petunias every 7-10 days with liquid MIRACLE GROW. They will thrive and stay lush and beautiful. Also watering is a MUST every 3-4 days.

I am brand new to your channel! It is so nice to see a fellow blue and white chinoiserie lover! Blue and white chinoiserie is really huge up here in New England and in Massachusetts! I recently went on a tour in Salem and the tour guide told us that chinoiserie goes back all the way to when the settlers settled in New England, they used to trade goods with China for chinoiserie pieces so technically, it is a Chinese pattern. I have loved it for years! Your porch came out stunning💙💙💙💙💙

I also love the pillow covers and the darling blue/white lamp! I just found your site. We live in Illinois but also have a small cottage in FL. I continued to use blue/white there but added bright lime great and natural woven pieces to incorporate the FL vibe! Love your site I just found!

Hey! Jill here! Your porch looks lovely. Those 3 littles are just adorable. I just wanted to offer a suggestion about your hanging baskets. Grab a S hook at the hardware store and some chain. That will let them hang lower. More pleasing to the eye and easier to water. Many blessings!!!

Love the blue pillow covers. I think everything looks beautiful. Yes on the lamp it makes it look so cozy. Just bring it in when a hurricane is coming. I live in Florida and I just keep a wicker basket in the living area with some blankets in it, then I can just grab it and stick everything from out side in it doring bad weather. As someone whom has very bad allergies I say ask your pediatrician about allergy shots for your son. They make such a big difference. As you can be taught how to give the shot to him at home it's very simple to do. You practice on a orange. I agree the pollen is crazy right now. Also on the allergy subject my trick is to change my pillow case every day as pollen lays in your hair this makes a difference really. I do showers every night before bed but I don't wash my hair everyday. Sometimes if I am having a itchy eyes and skin I just end up washing my hair and it makes sure a big difference how I feel. Also change your filter more often and if you could get a air purifier for his bedroom and one for your mane living area they make allergy a lot better. Yes I have suffered for many years and still now as a adult these things help. They changed my life really. Sorry for me responding with this information but It's very important to me unless you have allergies you can't understand this feeling. It's like having the flu you just feel that bad.
