Thanks for your videos. We have reserved an ID.4 and are just waiting to lock our order. In the meantime, watching your videos and others to learn more of what to expect.
Thank you! We added a 2022 VW ID.4 AWD Pro S to our Midwest EV channel and look forward to learning more and posting about that vehicle also. Good luck!
I am guessing you have the paid version. But glad it's working for you. I use it to do the plan, then send it to Google maps. I don't go back to it unless there's an issue. Great thanks.
That is great to hear! Our VW ID.4 FE still has a maximum charging speed of 150kWh here in the United States, but we are waiting for an over the air update to increase that one day :(
Another Nice video! I agree ABRP and getting the BT/OBD2 dongle, pro membership etc is not something “normies”/my1stEV (who are the target audience for the id.4) will do but the elephant in the room is the sad state of the in built nav. Really that should be better. Hopefully it gets better with 3.0/3.1 whenever VWoA rolls that out but we all know what a s-show that has been. Ford had a comparably bad nav (sending routes to L2 or slow “fast” chargers) but they made it much better with OTA updates to it. Imagine that. The frustrating part is that at least in Europe they have done OTA. Sorry for the rant. Keep up the good work. Eager to see a towing video if you all do it and what all is involved.
We have been interested in getting a small camper for ourselves and are wanting to tow with the ID.4. Unfortuantely, that doesn't look like it will be happening soon.
Yes we agree. At the time we were still new to this app and Eray did question if we should listen to it, but we wanted the persepective of someone who was still new to planning out charging and exclusively followed the app.
Charger hopping is always fastest. Computers get confused. Nice informative videos!
Thanks for watching! We are still smarter than the computers for now...

At the time we were using the paid version. Since getting our VW back we have not continued the subscription.

171 miles is a long drive...I'd just have gone to the next station instead of going back....I'd rather take another quick break.
That was our thought too!
Ok....you end up doing that...I just never would've turned around........

Dude ...you talk to much
We are just trying to be helpful.
