“We all have times in our lives when we may need to call for help. This help may need to come from friends or family. From the lord or from within yourself.
The world has gotten darker and more evil as we enter deeper into cyber space and the future. People and things are not always as they may seem. Images of yourself can even have the mirror show you as a stranger. You may feel at times like you are living a nightmare and the only place you are safe is in your dreams. A role reversal from living the dream and falling asleep into the nightmares.
Dark and evil shapes can rise into your life. Ones you never saw coming. They can be demons inside friends, strangers or even yourself.
Time to exorcise the demons and reach to the sky for the power within. The only true way to move forward is to give that final goodbye. Not to yourself, or your friends, but the evil inside of all of us.
Ignoring the darkness and being saved by the light is the true meaning and message of my May Day…a call for help within myself…because in the end only I can determine whether or not I will live the dream or the nightmare!

For some odd reason Blabbermouth posts this long interview with you and doesn't bother to put the youtube video on there. So I rolled up my sleeves and went to work. I opened a new tab for youtube. Then I copy and pasted your name from Blabbermouth article into the search window, hand typed the words May Day and hit 'Enter'. Not as easy as clicking a link, I assure you. But I did it because I am a long time fan and these are the sacrifices I must endure to support the artists I love. I hope you are proud of me!

Hey Chris, last year in December I went to your TSO concert and OH MY GOSH. It was amazing. You are a super awesome player. You are so freaking talented and even though I don’t plan to be a player in a rock band like you are with TSO, you inspire me so much as a 13 year old with performing for someone who aspires to become an actress someday. You are honestly the coolest rock player that I know in this entire world. You put in so much work for everything and anything you do and I love that. I only write and record my music as art. It’s always sincere. It’s why I do the solo music. They are my paintings. My influences were purposely placed in this song as well as all of my different vocal styles. The lyrics were written about a seriously messed up situation that happened to me with an online abuse situation. I used all the complexity to represent the complexity of this situation.

The title is too misleading. Typically you refer to "International Workers' Day" as May Day.
There are many meanings of the name!
Mayday is an internationally recognized radio word to signal distress. It's used mostly by aircraft and boats, and most of us are happily only familiar with it through TV and fiction. It appears as both an interjection (“Mayday! Mayday!”)
Plus in America our Labor Day is the first Monday in Sept! 🥳
