I have a 2002 Q45 and my gauge cluster does not turn on not a blown fuse checked what could it be or can I mess with settings to see if the brightness got turned down till the black cluster dash light is completely turned down
I've seen someone do it on an 06 M in the nicoclub forum. Some custom electrical work was involved, but they got it to work. Some people said the 08+ were easier to retrofit paddles on, but I can't confirm that.

@@ravashingwes818 the FX45 being AWD only shares more with the M45x - it's mainly a matter of the AWD engine having a special oil pan. The engine is mostly the same, and the transmission is similar down to the gear ratios (V8 to V8, the V6 is different).
