Replacing a pull starter

How to replace the pull starter
1 Remove the pull starter
Remove the 3 screws on the pull start housing then remove pull start
2 Assemble the new pull starter
DO NOT PRESS PULL STARTER GEARS ON THE FINS OF FLYWHEEL
Pull the handle slightly to align the gears
Align the holes
Re-install 4 phillips head screws
*remember always pull with a steady even pull rather than a jerking motion to avoid future issues with the pull starting system.
