I enjoy watching Gavin work his magic in the field and I've learned much about jetting terminology from these videos. Just had my area drains jetted and I think I freaked the workers out with my questions about the jetting equipment specs, mini-reel hose dia. and nozzle types they were using! (trailer mounted 4000 psi/18 GPM, 3/8 inch and a Warthog nozzle for root intrusion). I find it interesting to watch! Especially if there happens to be a "cheesy mad-ball" blocking the stormwater!

After he cleared the problem area, he started to say I should call them back in 6 mos. to check if the roots were growing back and he caught himself and said, "Well, you have your own camera, so keep an eye on it." 😅

A dynamic production mrs. P. Very appealing for tech savvy students,who may become enticed to enter the plembing trade ,specialising in drain installation, clearance and maintenance,which mr. P is a master of. I love his intro music,his pre investigation chat en route to the job and his prep with the team. My fave is the one with his now retired digger operator, where they pulled a root out of a pipe that was the full diameter of the pipe. It was like a telegraph pole about 8metres long. Keep making the videoes please. Skills like his are a rare talent. You know he's the type of tradesman you hope will come and solve your problem.❤

If the Australian Plumbing Trade Association doesn't hire you to be their trade outreach coordinator their not very bright and the young folks interested in a vital and valuable trade occupation will be missing out! Just remember, it smells like money! Neat video! I like the racket the reverse makes! Great job!
Mrs. P., I completely agree with you about it being a disgusting job. I’ve commented a few times to Gavin about how I could not do the sewer blockage jobs. The storm drains are awesome to see unblocked, but the sewers make me cringe. However, Gavin makes even the most gut wrenching sewer blockage so interesting that I’ve learned to watch it with enthusiasm. I’m only three minutes into the video but had to comment. Gavin is a warrior.
Mrs P I would guess that an Arborist or Botanist may be able to tell you what roots belong to which tree/shrub they belong too. To be fair though a root is a root and needs to go. Gavin often showers at work, sadly no soap is used. Us blokes just like to see things cleared out I suppose, I worked now and again at the other end of the sewer fixing the equipment which clears the solids out of the liquid and keeps things moving. Gavin does a fantastic job and seeing you support him is great. Take care, both of you 👍👍
