I think it's possible if you transpose some of the bass lines up an octave. Most of my covers are playable on 4-string with a little bit of tweaking. This one might be a little tricky though.
Quick question, trying to follow along and my E string sounds different from what you're playing. Is the song in standard tuning or is the amp making it sound heavier?

It sounds just like the actual song, but mine sound like dull thuds instead. I’m a beginner and I understand it will take a lot of work to play this, so any advice would be appreciated 🙏

It's been a while so I don't quite remember the settings I used, but cranking up the gain and boosting the mids might get you in the ballpark.

I'm trying to follow along but I don't understand what the X means on certain strings. (Specifically at the beginning)
The x's mean there's no specific note to be fretted. As for the beginning, it means a percussive slap on that string.
