Great build! No frills, very simple and utilitarian, but it's still very clean. Now... maybe if I build 6 or 7 of these, I might finally start to approach some level of organization in my shop. Nice job!
Nice! Pre-drilling and not just a counter-sink will prevent the ends of the boards from cracking. Sheetrock screws are okay, but for anything carrying weight, use wood screws. The SR screws tend to break off.
Cool. However, I would never use drywall screws to build anything. As a builder and cabinet maker I know that they tend to loosen and can SNAP. They weren't designed for this purpose. Interior construction screws are made just for these purposes with a high shear strength.
lol as a 5 years newbie carpenter i always use just drywall screw for the cabinets of my clients because they are cheap too but they are still strong no problem ever from my clients as long as you put a glue.
Roughly for the Yanks: 😂 37"W x 35"H x 22"L Nice skills, good thought process, good work. The casters are always a nice touch. I would assume the planer and table saw would be the most expensive tools used in this video.
How dare you break all those unwritten rules. 1) You actually used, from what I tell, a corded drill for this entire build.!? Know battery packs anywhere that I saw. 2) You didn't use a drop of glue anywhere.!? At least, not that saw. I love it, and I'm a new subscriber.! Can't wait to see what else you do.! I had to come back when I remembered what other unwritten rule you broke.😎 3) You didn't 'pocket-hole' anything.!? I built storage shelves for my 2 boys that were 14" deep that stair-stepped and bent on a 90° angle, in a similar fashion as to the way you built your chest of drawers. I've never seen anything thing like them to this day.
Thanks for the reply. I believe a lot more would like to see videos on quick Saturday afternoon projects that could make their lives better, make chores easier. A sturdy roll around cart that's also light weight, comes to mind. Some people actually prefer to have quick easy access to fasters. Maybe you could make something modular.? The sky's the limit. Not much in the video DIY department building assembly carts that don't have a pocket holes in them somewhere..🤓🤠😎 I'm giving away all my best RUclips video ideas.
As someone who witnessed my Dad cut his leg with a chainsaw while steadying a log with his foot, please please please stop doing that. It takes a slip and you are in the emergency room or dead.
@@Handy_Space agreed it still leaves enough so the thread grips wood I use 3.0 to 3.5 mm drill with 35 or forty mm screws depending on thickness sometime only thirty stops that two mm screw tip poking threw
You can use an electric hand planer instead of the thicknesser and a circular saw instead of the table saw, I've done it this way and made chest of drawers 😊
Great video. I live in the city center so there are tons of pallets for free on the streets. (5 per week easily)
This will be my next project
Thank you for watching.. So you can make a lot of useful things from pallets... and the most important thing is that it's cheap)
I would recommend 2 drills, one for pre drilling your holes and one for setting screws.
Amazing project! I’ve got an idea for a tool chest now
Thanks for the idea! I'm always looking for ways to make my projects easier.
Great job! It's nice to see people showing you can build nice things without $10,000 worth of tools.
Thank you))
Two nice combination between complete tools and good skills.
Thank you)))

Thanks) I wish you success in your work)
@@Handy_Space another question, how did you end up attaching all the boards for the top?
@@reneeheinemann I show it in video on 9.44 , i use screws from the botom😉
@@Handy_Space I I’d see that, I just wasn’t sure how exactly you screwed them all down
@@reneeheinemann I found screws of a suitable length and attached them through the transverse bars
love it only 2 pallets that makes that its beautiful

@@Handy_Space i love it looks so easy to do on here thinking of making a bed side cabanet

Thank you.. This is a spacer so that the door opened and did not touch the frame.
Nice working ❤
Very nice kudos
Thank you)
I like this idea. Maybe will make 2 and stack on on top of each other. What are the dimension on this one?
Hello!!! Thank you for watching) width 50cm height 85cm length 100.
Excelente trabajo amigo felicitaciones disculpa cuáles serían las medidas
Nice. Just like any other videos it's the music that drives me up the wall.
Thanks !
Can you please sent me the size od the woods that you cutt to make this project
Unfortunately, the project was not saved, but we will add a file with dimensions to the description for the next videos
Magnífico 👏👏👏

What are the measures of your poroject? Its wonderful tanks for sharing
thank you) but it was an improvisation ..

obrigado) Outro vídeo sobre um tema semelhante será lançado em breve))
Hola, que medidas tendria aproximadamente? Me gusta tal y como está. Gracias
🤔
Bagus bangat bro.
Its a nice result, but i would not recommend using the black gypsumboard screws. They are not ment for solid wood, just use construction screws.
Thank you to advice)
Parabéns, gostei muito

You right, but i use this about 1 year and everything is ok, in this case it's been the fastest path for me to something create this build )
Thanks I’ve be learning this the hard way. I also don’t like using Phillips head screws they always slip and round out.

Prático e lindo , pode fazer também para por cuba de pia de toalete 😊❤

Was that all from one pallet or did it require more than one?
it's about 5 pallets)
How can I get the measurements for this this is absolutely amazing your very talented 👏

Muito bom!
Me ubiera gustado más si pondrías las medidas y cuántas paletas usaste.
Hi, do you maybe share the plans?
thanks for watching It was an improvisation of the exact dimensions at the moment there is no plan)
I can’t believe you use a corded drill. If I were to have only one cordless tool it would be a drill. Nice work tho.
😊
Wow.. Can you please share the dimensions?
Thank you for viewing.. height 100 cm, width 55 cm, length 105 cm)

Cool daddy-O
😊😊
First, you start out with buying brand new pallets, then you tear them apart.
😊
👍
hahaha you spend more in screws that in the wood XD
😊😊😊
Nice one 👍 but seriously treat yourself with any kind of respectable drill, not this corded hair dryer 😖 best wishes 💪
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Do you have items needed and the plans
Sorry we don't have this an improvisation)
I'm pretty sure I counted around 1000 screws 😮
even more)

Great video but with the most annoying "music" ever.. Only rap would have been worse. How many pallets were used in total?
Thank you. About 5 - 7 ))
Using a chainsaw is cheating
)))why do you think so?
I would have to have a donkey engine to haul it around, however.

You split wood a little there at 3:40 mins time cos of drilling with a 2mm drill and using 4 mm screws
in general, everything is holding up well. I think that maybe 3mm would be better)))
