Miss Toni, I'm caucasian and never wore braids, or dreads, but I did buy a Microtouch and began to shave my head, because I wanted to return to my essence. I felt the same way you did. I had an acute ischemic stroke on 8.7.20. I am progressing nicely. I have been trying to be less judgmental of others and have found it helps me to forgive myself for my failures. By the time I have my physical abilities back, I want to rebuild my entire spirit, from the foundation up. May the peace of the Lord be with you on your journey.
