Homemade Orange Brandy Recipe Using Korean Hallabong Oranges & Ingredients

In Shining in Korea, our latest experiment is Hallabong Orange Brandy. We did not have an orange brandy recipe to model ours off, so this is completely off the cuff. Most people don't mess with orange because it is difficult to get right due to the acid levels and flavoring. So, they typically do post-flavoring with oranges.
This is our own orange brandy recipe. We admit that it was little heavy on the orange flavor from the orange peel. So, the bitterness did come through a bit more than we liked. We have opted to let it rest for a bit to see if the flavor comes together a bit more. Often times, if you let your brandy or shine sit for a bit, the flavor has a chance to meld a bit more and smooth out. So, we will keep you posted on that.
