Wow, this was tough to watch. I am so sorry about this failure you had and is very unfortunate. Your flying was very smooth and professional. I am sure you will be back again with a gorgeous MB339.
Un élément s'est détaché de sa position initiale vers l'arrière, entrainant un soudain recul du centrage de l'avion. Or, comme on le sait, un centrage trop arrière rend un aéronef totalement in-pilotable.
Very sad to watch. I’d love to have a turbine model, however, I can’t stomach losing that much of an investment if I auger in. I’m sticking with EDF models.
Such a beautiful model and flight - very sad for you. 😢 The person in that car must have had kittens when the model terminated its flight right next to them. 😢
So sorry for your loss. Indeed - you can see the pipe sticking out the back and the aft of the plane collapsing just before impact - I guess exhaust gasses just melted / fried everything
Damn that must have hurt. Did you ever find out the cause? Was the ballooning that resulted in the stall caused by flap application, or was it loss of radio signal and failsafe mode had slight up elevator programmed in?
@@luxii2068nah the pilot pulled the stick too hard on approach, thinking he needed to loose speed while he didnt. From takeoff the first turn you see he is having problems with it. And the further flight, low circles he almost clipped the ground. Its a pilot with not a lot fly experience, it was doomed to crash, the next one too!
@@TheOneAndOnlySatan the only one pulling their stick too hard here is you. @thesuperjed1 the engine and thrust tube are often mounted on a common "rail". Id say the engine and thrust pipe moved aft (reasons unknown), causing C of G to move aft very violently as seen here.
Depending on its mass, insurance may be mandatory. Imagine if it crashed into your car. The damage will be significant, and fire could result in a total loss. If it hits a person, it would probably kill them.

Thrust tube failure is rare but it does happen. I inspected mine regularly for any signs of trouble .
MB339 is a favourite of mine.
Whoa!! Never seen a thrust tube failure before. Sad.
Wow, I didn't see that tube sticking way out the back until you commented. That sure was the cause of this crash. I'll have to check my thrust tubes!!
That sucks bro. I hope you get back into the air soon.
I was in awe watching this, the sound of it and your flying was second to none. Sorry about the end though, hope you get flying one again soon.
That was some very smooth flying (until control was lost). Very sad but at least it didn't land in the car.
Oh man. I saw the thrust tube poking out there.
It hurts just to watch it. My condolences.
As my grandmother always used to say: "Boy," she said, "be careful that you don't fly into anything. Not even into the planet." 🤓
And one VERY unhappy Farmer!

Excellent camera work coupled with superb piloting.

Its never a investment, start with being honest to yourself.
@@TheOneAndOnlySatan Stop being pedantic; there is more than one common meaning of "investment".
@@SplashJohn explain to me what investment means and how this is one in your eyes🤣.

2:06 there is the jet exhaust tubing hanging out the rear. Sad to see a beautiful model lost. 😢
Did the model pilot buy that car driver and farmer lots of beers?
As the old saying goes, he bought the farm
@@edwardmaher4880 You know what that means right? (me ex AF pilot)
This is very sad :-(
Sorry! Some nice scale flying!
Difficult time controlling the aircraft while holding his pants up.

The turbine pipe moved +-40cm to the back. The turbine burned the inside, the pilot had no more control over it.

Which company made this model?
It was a self-build
Awful end to a beautiful model! Can you get affordable insurance coverage on those big models?

Der Autofahrer hat Glück gehabt! Aber schade um das schöne Modell!
Ja, das war ziemlisch knapp
Lost the Pipe and burned moved the CG?
Yes, pipe was 40cm out of the plane, the turbine burned the radio installation in the plane
@@luxii2068 Same Problem in my Jet Legend L39 10years ago and the the welding of the Pipe broke and burned the Elevator Kabel.
Qu'est-ce qu'il sais passé finalement ?
La tuyère c'est laché, la turbine a brûler l'électronique dans l'avion.
There goes a ton of money up in smoke
Were any plants hurt !!?? 😂😂😂
Very very sad for my friend Roger 😭😭😭
Nice flying field.
Tail pipe failed
Probably no new learning points there.
shit things happen... At least you know it's not the pilot errors. Life is short! Just build another better and bigger JET and keep on flying!!!!
Desolée...😞😞😞
That sucks
Ouch.
