You REALLY lucked out in Hanoi! On February 14, 2023, I also took a flight from Hanoi to Singapore. My flight left at 08:35 and I got to the airport at 05:50. There were three separate queues for check-in and security - all completely overwhelmed. Again, arrived at 05:50 for an 08:35 flight. Myself and others didn't emerge into "airside" until 08:05! My experience at Ho Chi Minh City a week earlier was not much better. Vietnam's major airports simply can't handle post-COVID passenger volumes.
Wonderful flight review Dominik.SIA is a great airline.I have travelled with them twice in economy.Once from Singapore to Frankfurt in a 747-400 and another one from Singapore to Athens in a 777.Both times they were excellent.

Very good flight review.
I flew the SQ A359 from SIN-CAN. The entertainment system was very good - the inflight map system had a lot of innovative features (tail registration, information on cities, tail wind, bearing). However not all A359 had the Live TV.
Officially there are multiple local buses stopping at the airport... good luck getting on it though, they work together with the local Grab (something similar to Uber) drivers, so they 80% of the time they accidentally miss people who are thus forced to take a taxi/grab

Fully agree that playing music for the approach and landing is not nice as I prefer hearing the engines, hydraulics and other landing sounds

However, it's indeed true that the meal portions in Economy Class have decreased over the years :(
Hopefully, SQ could look into improving their service in Economy
Tell them you have allergies and can’t eat fish or nuts
All the major airlines, with the possible exception of American, have not only cut back on portions, but also quality (which wasn't so great before!) The worst? In my experience, JetBlue. Their food's not only dreck, they are actively encouraging people to skip meals so their crewmembers "don't have to disturb them when it's time for a meal." Absurd.
Cooler Kanal aufjedenfall, aber macht es wirklich Spaß die ganze Zeit Eco zu fliegen? Und was machst du beruflich das du so viel fliegen kannst? Oder machst du eine Weltreise?
Danke! Ich bin glücklich solange ich über den Wolken bin. In welcher Klasse ich fliege ist für mich entsprechend nicht allzu wichtig. Und nein, ich bin aktuell nicht auf einer Weltreise. Ich versuche einfach jede freie Minute zu reisen und neue Kulturen, Menschen und Städte zu entdecken. Bisher ziemlich erfolgreich. :)
