yes, the traditional movement I have discovered is really there to show us how to deliver power with movement. as we progress all that movement gets smaller but the power remains until you are hardly moving at all and delivering as much power as the situation dictates. I kept this short and sweet. so pleas take that into consideration when reading. I have been training for over 35yrs. Not that means anything, I am not good or some pro teacher. I always have so much more to learn.

Mark 13 minutes. I have a black belt in Toshindo, earned under Master Russo, and what you are teaching is better than great. Thank you.

Never defend a hook with an open slapping cross hand looking looking to the hook punch. Cuz its gonna fracture your face.

If a technique is considered too slow to work today against an untrained opponent, why should it have worked against a trained opponent 500 years earlier?

You will get it when you try punching and kicking with modern day striking techniques while wearing a yoroi armor with a 2 swords dangling on your hip

Yea not sure why Sensei thinks it’s too slow , I’ve personally used the old technique in a real life situation and it works beautifully

i like your videos but in this at around 4 mins he only throws one right hook but surely when you block the left he would either use his legs or his right again and what would you do then?

High Low, he would keep adapting to each change. That is what Ninjutsu is so great at.

Adapting to change is nothing Ninjutsu exclusive! Every MA and SD has it! Some just forgot this fact.
