Yeah stock exhaust is too quiet and theres no rev counter, I have no idea whats going on😂 pulls like a tractor too no matter which gear youre on. Have a 2019 myself
@@amg_nick964 That's reassuring! The 690 is in amazing condition. The 1290 I sold was a 2016 with only 3.3k miles when I got it. Bone stock, 80y/o previous owner

I'll have to make another video of it soon! Yeah it sounds amazing now, as I'm sure yours does too. On startup is sounds like a bucket of bolts sometimes haha. Apparently that is normal on these engines
Congrats on getting it! It’s a great system, very nice quality, easy install. I’m not sure if it shoots flames in stock form, I haven’t tested it out, however I’ve seen these bikes tuned with full exhaust doing nice size sparks. I got the carbon tip, I personally like that look as it compliments my other carbon parts.
It’s by Tekmo, same as exhaust and key guard, very nice quality, the weaves are all laid out nice and straight. I ceramic coated it too, to help with dirt and water.
Hey, thank you so much! So it's a Tekmo exhaust I bought it from Rottweiler Performance, they do international shipping if you go with them. Maybe there's a distributor more local?
@@amg_nick964 Thanks man, I'll check out Rottweiler as I'm considering their airbox too. Did you put one of those in with your pipe? Will you do a video with all the mods on your bike?

Do you have to do anything with the ECU like getting it dynod or a power commander? Ive been looking at getting a 690 or 701 but it seems like theyre a pain in the ass to deal with when it comes to ecu stuff
Hey, so I would recommend doing the power commander 6 as these bikes run lean from factory. I was experiencing a lot of shut offs when the rpms dipped. Even more frequently when i did the full exhaust. After the PC6 with custom map from Rottweiler Performance, it runs fantastic!
@amg_nick964 sounds good, I've never used a power commander before so I'll have to figure out how to install it and make it work but thanks for the info. I can't wait to get a 690 or 701, I've had supersports and sport bikes so I'm pumped to try a supermoto
@@Kawasaki10rr The install was straightforward and came with directions, just plug and play, no splicing of wires. Took me about 30 minutes. You'll love the supermoto life, its the most fun you can have under 100mph! So much more nimble than a supersport (which I also have a Ducati Panigale).

Wings exhaust for the win. Way better 😎
I was looking at Wings too as an option! The main reason I went with Tekmo is because I have other parts by them and wanted to match the branding.
I have the 2023 690 smcr also. Thinking about getting this exact system but does it pop sparks 🔥? N is it better with the titanium arrow tip ?

Hello that is without cat? What is the prize of full exaust?
It's no cat and DB killer removed, which is very simple to do. Full titanium exhaust was $1500

The brand name is Trackside, I think I got it off Amazon. Yes you have to get the spools for your swingarm.
