Thank you. My late father was a native Californian and told us how as a kid he could see Half Dome from the family yard. He was so very proud of that & being a native Californian.
I was in Yosemite Valley in May and wow what an amazing difference!! Not a snow person myself but the Valley has a unique beauty in winter. Thanks for an awesome video!!
Thank you so much!! We just back from Yosemite THANKS TO YOU INSTRUCTIONS!! Butttttt it’s so scary the drive from Tenaya Lodge to valley omggggg but we so the firefall so so so beautiful thank you!!
We went to Yosemite last month and the views are so breathtaking. We didn’t get to the glacier point because of closure but hope to come back to see Yosemite summer view someday.
I've been boondocking all across the west avoiding people during quarantine. Trying to decide if it's wise driving my prius out there for a couple weeks.
Very well done, FWIW. I've been ten times (over the span of 50 years), but never in the winter. That'll be next, thanks to your video. I was there with my son in early November back in the late 1990's, and there already was snow up high - but we were still able to hike to Vernal and Nevada Falls (Yosemite Falls trail was closed then) - although it was very slippery at the top. ... probably days/hours from shutting it down too. Yosemite is easily my family's favorite national park - and we live within two hours of Mt. Rainier N.P. (which is a GREAT N.P. - but nothing matches Yosemite in our books).
Really gorgeous picture-perfect views of the park in winter. Discovered that pausing the video and immersing myself in the scene is a great way to de-stress and chill. Enjoy all your vlogs, but this one is very special -- thanks much for sharing.
Great video, thanks for sharing! I don't know the distances between these places, do you know if I could make it through all the first 7 points you mentioned in a single day?
Great video. Our son introduced us to Yosemite a couple years back and we love it. We were just there in August 2021 and are looking forward to our next visit. The only problem is we hate leaving! Thank you for the video. Great job.
Oh man....that brings back some wonderful memories of our first California holiday (hey, I'm English, so it wasn't a vacation ;) ). Yosemite was just stunning. One day we'll return :)
Always love your recommendations, but for Winter in Yosemite, would have loved to see recommendations for cross country skiing and ice skating with views.
Unfortunately, lots were closed this year. Horsetail Fall in February is awesome because of the sun, making it look like lava. Couldn't get near it at all in 2019, darn it.
I would love for you to add maps to your videos, tracing your itinerary has you proceed to the next stop. This would help orient viewers. Love your videos Thanks.
My favorite time in Yosemite is the winter....since there is no one there! If you go in Feb the last two weeks you can see “fire falls” (if conditions are right)!
The is my favorite place. Many years ago my youngest daughter and I took our horses and rode part of the John Muir Trail. It was amazing. And on the same trip we rode part of the John Muir Trail in the Mammoth area. Sad, many of the trees were dying in the mammoth area due to the volcanic gases.
Hi we will be visiting the park on first week of January. Unfortunately we will only have half a day to explore. Can please suggest which of the spots we can cover in half day. Thank you
Beautiful video! When was it filmed? My fiancé is convinced that we’re in the footage at 1:39 at the chapel when we were there last February to watch the Firefall. 😆
I am visiting San Francisco in the first week of Feb and thinking to visit Yosemite Park for the first time. Would it be better to use public transport and go to the park and use their shuttle system? or If I am driving, do I need tire chains for it?
Hello, I'm planning to visite Yosemite in January, since I hadn't drove with chains on the tires never, I'm wondering how can I do this things using Yarts from Mariposa o Fresno. This could be easy to do only using Yarts and walking? Or I definitely need a car?
Hello Josh I was just on Instagram and there something going on in Joshua tree August 2 through the fifth maybe you and your wife would like to check it out

Yosemite is amazing especially in late winter when there are less crowds.
Thank you so much!! We just back from Yosemite THANKS TO YOU INSTRUCTIONS!! Butttttt it’s so scary the drive from Tenaya Lodge to valley omggggg but we so the firefall so so so beautiful thank you!!

I'll be there tomorrow and it snowed last night. Yay!

Definitely want to try that Dewey Point hike!
Thank you for you video.
No problem!
Visiting in two weeks and this made me more excited!!
I don’t think you left anything off! Looks like an amazing list! Gorgeous and as always, fantastic video 👍
Yosemite is a 2 hour drive from me and I've never been. I need to make this trip!
You have to go, it's amazing!
Kenneth Andrew how is that possible?
imageisn0thing I usually go to sequoia instead lol it’s another national park
that is ridiculous
I'm going to in January. I haven't been there in 30 years. I'll have an infant and 2.5 year old so I don't know how much I can do, but I can't wait
Unfortunately, lots were closed this year. Horsetail Fall in February is awesome because of the sun, making it look like lava. Couldn't get near it at all in 2019, darn it.

Great vid!! Was just there a couple days ago. It was gorgeous even though there was only a little bit of snow and a lot on the peaks
Thanks! I agree, it is amazing all year!
Thank you for the great tips, footage and hints! Have a happy new year!

When does it typically begin to get snowy in Yosemite?
Beautiful video! When was it filmed? My fiancé is convinced that we’re in the footage at 1:39 at the chapel when we were there last February to watch the Firefall. 😆
Great as always 😎 What’s the brand of your cap at the end of the vid? 🤔
Thanks! You can find the hat here www.rei.com/product/894178/columbia-mesh-ball-cap
Hi :) planning on visiting end of feb. is it possible to see all these?
I never seen it in the winter, it looks so cold!
Can these be done in a day, day and a half at most?
You have awesome content 👍
What month exactly did you visit the valley?
I just went to Yosemite 2days ago
Lilliana C Avila how was the falls? I went during September and they were dry 😭
Do you need tire chains if you are driving inside the park?
I am visiting San Francisco in the first week of Feb and thinking to visit Yosemite Park for the first time. Would it be better to use public transport and go to the park and use their shuttle system? or If I am driving, do I need tire chains for it?

What month is this? planning to go in November?
What month Yosemite start snowing?
A nice place to stop is Devil’s Elbow near El Capitan. While you’re in the area, take a short hike to the nose of El Cap. Nice views!

Tallest in North America besides Hawaii ;) lol
They left out the names of the many people that have gone missing. Keep your eyes on your friends and your kids. You will be hunted.
Missing 411?
If I die before I see Yosemite I want a refund.
