- RF Young Champs triumphant over Manchester United in landmark final day victory
It was a day to reckon for Indian football as the Reliance Foundation Young Champs overcome one of the biggest forces in world football, Manchester United FC in the final showpiece event of the PL-ISL Next Generation Mumbai Cup here at the Reliance Corporate Park Football Ground in Navi Mumbai today.
Reliance Foundation and FSDL Chairperson Mrs Nita Ambani cheered on from the sidelines as Indian football’s superstars of tomorrow defeated Manchester United Under-14s 1-0 in a celebration of youth football and a coming together of two footballing cultures.
Both the teams began the game at a good tempo, and moved the ball around swiftly in midfield. The Young Champs looked to be more assertive and forced their counterparts from United to lose the possession at times.

And one of my friend is National player and he used to play for a from Kolkata , and he was also released . He said that any club of Kolkata will keep only those players who are from Bengal . Yes some might find is Selfish or whatever but i think it's a very good initiative taken by the officials of Kolkata to develop young players of Kolkata .
