Upgrades I did, I replaced the tie downs with the quick release type, the prop to a 4 blade, and trolling motor to a weed edge prop. Eventually going to add a Ultrex trolling motor, with Hummingbird fish finder on the bow, and the console, two micropoles, add recessed tray, replace the two pedastal seats, replace the locks on the rod locker and aft storage, add rubbing strip, keel guard and have factory conditioned and sealed from BassPro. ( I think thats it! )

Awesome boat. I purchased same in Feb. with a 20 HP. I put in ez troll tray. It was nerve wrecking to cut hole in a brand new boat. I measured and double checked before doing. I added BroCraft 4 rod holder with the track system, railblazer rod holders, noco genius 10x charger, I just bought a 2 bank minnkota alternator charger(1 bank sold out), upgraded battery to 120ah vmax.
Good video. I have a ’21 Pro 170. I’ve been very happy with it. I’ve made some of the same upgrades that you did. I added a Power Pole Micro to the transom and a Garmin Echo Map to the bow. I installed an Easy Troll tray in it and it worked great for the Edge trolling motor but I decided to upgrade to a Terrova. The Terrova foot pedal is much shallower and didn’t fit in the tray. Now I had a hole in the deck that needed filling. The solution that I came up with was to cut a piece of ½ inch Starboard to fit in the tray and that raised the foot pedal. Also the Terrova needed a better battery. I wish Tracker had made the battery compartment door a little larger. It was a challenge getting a 75 pound battery in there. Good fishing.
Just got a 170 as well. Great video, plan on doing very similar mods that you mentioned here

for the option of the middle console... go to any auto parts section at a store and get one of those plastic car storage and drink holders.. make a small wood box with a pull out cubby and attach the plastic storage thing on top.. i found alittle old side table for holding magazines that randomly worked great. would give you alittle table to work on or whatever and the plastic cup holder thing fit under it so i was able to screw it down to that table and it fit between the seats,,
Great video. The information about the recessed trolling motor tray is very helpful. I am ordering a 170 myself this week and have been watching videos for ideas about what I can do. This will be my first new boat and only my second boat in total. I am still learning the best ways to fish off of them. Thanks, Mike

@@justingreen8520 Where did you run the drainage hose for the trolling motor tray?
I've been thinking of getting one of these especially since I have learned that they offer a jet in 40 hp. I love jets, no worries in shallow waters of new lakes and rivers. My last boat had a 65 jet drive Evinrude and I no longer feel the need for speed at age 67 lol
I just ordered one specifically because they offered the jet, so I can fish shallow rivers....gonna be a LONG 6-8 weeks...lol

Great video! ordered a 2023 Pro 170, can't wait to get it on the water. Like all the upgrades you have done, the TM foot tray is a must, how did you manage the drain tube for it?
Just feed it down to the bottom of the hull. Super easy install.

Where is your drain for the live well? Some are on the side and some are out the back.
i had the haritage tracker. i never used the trolling motor the boat is so easy to handle i just got a short bass rod i used from the drivers seat . would get nice and close to docks ... i moved and sold the boat to finance the move.. i miss that boat terrible. but yeah the trolling motor i found useless it would jerk around to much make you loose your balance, took up too much space and the pedal with the cords was super annoying. specially when your fishing buddy is a messy dude that leaves his crap all over the place.. dude bring like 11 rods,, i bring 2-3
Justin, are those batteries AGM?
Does adding the foot pedal tray void the warrenty? Did you change out the fish finder yourself or did they do it from the factory?
I do think it voids the deck warranty. However I feel the foot pedal tray is a necessary addition. As far as the fish finder I had it installed when I ordered the boat.
What Prop (size) do you use and whats your wot?
