Used esim in South Korea in March. Downloaded at home in the UK and activated on arrival at Incheon. Absolutely brilliant as it allowed me to keep my cell/phone number and I could use unlimited data. Worth mentioning that you can't access the WiFi on the metro unless you have a data plan - the esim automatically allowed me to do this. Invaluable for Kakao and Naver maps (Apple Maps not reliable in SK), Kakao Metro and Taxi apps, and WhatsApp as well as Kakao Talk. And the 5G in South Korea is lightning fast so streaming, uploading photos to FB/Instagram is instantaneous. Hope this helps. 😊🇰🇷

It's just so easy to get setup as well, as long as your phone supports eSim. When shopping for new phones, eSim is definitely the must-have feature for me! Perfect for travelling!

Would you mind sharing which eSIM provider you use? I'm traveling to South Korea in two weeks and am looking for recommendations

@@winchannel8546 Sure! I used Airalo e-sim. Not the cheapest, but infinitely cheaper than buying a data bundle. And I had unlimited data when I was there. Have a good trip! 🇰🇷😊
