Fun tip for making mattresses last a really long time: use really thick mattress toppers (theyre like thick blankets that you put between the mattress and the sheets on top) then use 2 or 3 sheets on top of those. It means that sweat and dead skin cells go nowhere near the actual mattress and it makes the mattress last like at least 15 years ☺
