I'm REALLY Looking Forward to This Album! I just saw Them Live, with Nile Rogers & CHIC, June 17th in Tampa and They Sounded Every Bit as Good as They Ever Have! I Love Getting All New Songs, but I am Really Excited for the "New Versions" of Their Own Songs, as well as the Other Cover Songs. I Loved their Thank You album of Tribute Covers from Bands that Influenced Them, but it was their Reimagining of The Chauffeur as the track titled Drive By that Blew Me and My Friends Away.
I am very excited for this album!!! I can hardly wait! I am also going to see DD in Toronto this month! Can't wait!! Andy Taylor's new album comes out September 8th too!!! 🤗

Re-recordings of Secret Oktober, Night Boat, Love Voodoo went down very well and the versions are very interesting and bring to a more dark gothic side of Halloween

Since Red Carpet Massacre and All You Nees is Now his guitar playing and techniques are incredible. On tour with DD he has a lot of fun and has great chemistry with John, Simon and most of the band.
I very much agree. Several fans have asked when it will be released so far it will take time or it could be 2025 or maybe earlier. Because Future Past has not ended yet, even though Danse Macabre will be playing on tours, they will still remain with Future Past until the end of 2023

Maybe New Moon On monday and Shadows will be "bonus tracks" of some deluxe edition.... the new versions of both songs are also mentioned by Andy in an interview... 🤞🤞

I think you used the perfect word "special project" to describe this. Thus, knowing how much time and effort the band puts into its work, I don't expect too much from this project because it was put together more quickly than DD usually puts an album together. I have reasonable expectations. I think the band's intent is to work with Andy again as soon as possible as an expression of support and love for his role in their successes and place in the Hall of Fame. I'm in full support of this project as an expression of friendship and love by the band to their former bandmate. I don't care what it sounds like. That said....I bet the guys surprise me.

Any which way you look at it, the band had to run it by Warren. They probably thought, hey, if we're going to include it, let's just ask the original co-writer if he'd like to take part. It's also not improbable having in mind that Nick and Warren were on good terms after his time in Duran.

Di tutte le sorprese quella per me meno piacevole è la partecipazione di Warren a parte il fatto che non mi è simpatico trovo che nel periodo nel quale lui ha fatto parte dei Duran Duran il loro sound fosse cambiato a parte qualche canzone .Non dico che il cambiamento fosse in peggio ma avevano perso quel modo speciale di fare musica che è ritornato in Austronaut.Canzoni come Drowing man o Skin Trade o Shelter non hanno nulla a che a vedere con gli Album precedenti.

Mixing a legend within the band that everyone loves (Andy) with Mr Useless that nobody misses (Warren) on the same album is not a good choice. I was excited about this record... until now. The more details I know, the less I like it. I just hope the single is with Andy. Otherwise I leave "this ship" 40 years later....

Any which way you look at it, the band had to run it by Warren. They probably thought, hey, if we're going to include it, let's just ask the original co-writer if he'd like to take part. It's also not improbable having in mind that Nick and Warren were on good terms after his time in Duran.
@@bala4fa they don't need to ask him anything to cover a song that is over 20 years old. It's very possible he was never contacted by the band.

Di tutte le sorprese quella per me meno piacevole è la partecipazione di Warren a parte il fatto che non mi è simpatico trovo che nel periodo nel quale lui ha fatto parte dei Duran Duran il loro sound fosse cambiato a parte qualche canzone .Non dico che il cambiamento fosse in peggio ma avevano perso quel modo speciale di fare musica che è ritornato in Austronaut.Canzoni come Drowing man o Skin Trade o Shelter non hanno nulla a che a vedere con gli Album precedenti.
Comunque non credo abbia fatto tanto in questo album...
@@StefanoScarlataDuranGuitar meno male. Dance macabre è la canzone che più di ogni altra è lontana dal mondo dei Duran anche se ascoltandola più volte devo ammettere che pur non essendo il mio genere non è proprio male
Per la prima volta NON sono excited per l'uscita di un loro album...Mi sembra più degli altri un'operazione puramente commerciale e non mi piace per nulla l'aspetto dark, men che meno la presenza di covers (che mi riporta a cattivi ricordi ). Mi devo preoccupare?!

Comunque, per quello che so, la bassista dei Maneskin dovrebbe avere contribuito anche con qualche idea creativa...staremo a vedere 😃
Mixing a legend within the band that everyone loves (Andy) with Mr Useless that nobody misses (Warren) on the same album is not a good choice. I was excited about this record... until now. The more details I know, the less I like it. I just hope the single is with Andy. Otherwise I leave "this ship" 40 years later....
