I'm thinking that's Bail Organa. These are the early stages of the Rebellion and it is forming in small, fractured pieces: Saw Guerreras partisans, The opposition in the senate (Organa, Mon Mothma and others). We might even see Enfys Nest and her raiders. The sisters were probably contracted by Organa, but not part of the rebellion proper yet. I don’t get why anyone would think the contact could be anyone other than Rex(he). The last people to have R7 were Rex Ahsoka. You can see his parts behind Rex next to the Y-Wing, so they obviously intended to rebuild him. And Rex was in the trailer.
I wonder if when Wrecker really starts to turn, if it will be Omega that saves him since she was the assistant to the doctor. So maybe she knows how to fix or remove the chip.

The battle droids do continue operating even after a tactical droid is killed. My best guess is that the mystery character is Rex. The only real Star wars characters that the martez sisters know is ahsoka. We know for a fact that ahsoka is connected to the rebellion from a very early stage but we also know that they called their contact "him" meaning that it's a male. On top of that, Rex is one of the only people right now that ahsoka knows and trusts, as well as who better to want to know that there is a rogue squad of clones then rex, a clone himself. Finally, Rex is confirmed via the trailers to meet up with the bad batch at some point, so that would be a very good way to conjoin their story
This show is so beautiful it's actually making those early Clone Wars episodes look like animatics. I can't wait to see how the visual style progresses through the seasons - especially the revised character models that we are bound to get in season two.
2 things scare me about Wreckers chip 1 all clones who dont obey 66 are executed so he might try to kill the others and 2 what if Omega is Force sensitive he might try to kill her since 66 obviously wasnt just "kill all Jedi" it is more like "kill all Force sensitives"
I was laughing so much when you mentioned the Martez sisters at the start, knowing that they'd show up in this episode 😂 Also, I do believe the Martez sisters are working with Rex.
My guess for the mystery person at the end would be either Rex, Bail, or Saw, since if the Martez sisters are working with the developing Rebellion now then it would have to be somebody connected with that, and they did refer to their contact as “him” so I don’t think it’s Ahsoka. We know Rex is showing up at some point this season, and Ahsoka could have put him in touch with the sisters easily enough, so he’d probably be my #1 guess, but it could potentially be Bail or Saw too.
Could Trace & Rafa’s contact be Bo?…I’m certain that R7 had Anakin’s subspace frequency programmed into him & also a voice distortion program …I caught that the hooded figure was wearing a Mandalorian helmet…from the side view we I saw a view finder/targeting site.

I hate it, when they change the EU like this. Makes no sense!
All happened before Disney btw.
The thing is I’m pretty sure everything except the Sidious ploy involving Sifo Dias is a test from the force priestesses. “You have done well thus far,”. “A place of absolute darkness where the sith sacrificed Jedi.” They even say something along the lines referring to the modern sith.
