A talented young street-food cook pushes herself to the limit after accepting an invitation to train under an infamous and ruthless chef.

@@raysadatolimbo3127the setting play big part in perception of taste, serve one soup in a cheap place people will say it's simple and cheap. Serve exact soup in a fancy place with flourish and they will believe it's completely different and complex and expensive.

The guy watching in background behind sabotaged the soup to give bad name to this famous chef. The little girl in video is actually severely allergic to Shrimp. And he added Shrimp to soup while preparing it. That's why the soup was thrown immediately.

The father paid the chef lots of money to get a tasty meal course. But later we found out that this guy is in insane debt, and this was his last final meal for all 3. After this meal was over, father shot her wife, daughter and then kills himself. Of course the little girl wasn't aware of anything.

Chef Paul is a good chef, he understands the rich and the poor but he’s just very misguided. He lost his ways.

well he did a grab a certain noodle packet from several others. He probably already knew it was free from shrimps or at least didn't have too much
some ppl might think this is a hyperbole scene in a kitchen. but inside a chef/cook mind, thats what happen when they realize the whole batch of soup/ ingredients for the day is fucked up for some reasons. bombarded by anxiety of why did it happen, how to remake the soup asap? can we fix the fucked up soup if possible? can we make it in an hour?
Watching this scene the first time was so distressing as if we were in the chef's head. Seeing him pour tap water for soup I was like "WTF?" and imagining all sorts of explanations, like "this soup tastes too fancy, this family need a more modest one" 😂
I guess in some parts of the developed world where tap water is drinkable people won't be as shocked

I never really considered how I've taken drinkable tap water for granted my entire life. Using tap water for soup is the only thing that didn't make me think "WTF" during this scene.
He made a new soup because the girl is allergic to shrimp and the first soup had it. Also, you're boiling the water for soup it should kill the bacteria in the water.

That is their strategy for marketing this movie ,they use this footage out of context to make the viewers curious and eventually see the show

Yeah, it was a little tough if you weren’t looking for the signs but you can tell by her body language throughout the meal, her silence and the way she looks down half the time. I don’t remember if she ever says anything in the scene but knowing how much her husband paid for Chef to make their meal was pretty crazy (spoiler)

He was trying to poison the little girl who was allergic to shrimp. As old dude was jealous of being verlooked by the chef since the chef made the skinny girl who had no experience, as the lead chef for this job.
